Friendly to me and to my pet pig. We are always treated well and it’s easy to schedule appointments. Worth the drive across town. Been going here over a year.

So upset about how they handled an issue with my dog that I can’t even talk about it. I will just say I was a client for years (I even put up with the horrid receptionist- she made me cry twice) but a few years ago Dr Ladegast let me down in such a way that it not only cost my dog her toe, it hurt me personally, as I felt she showed no concern or care for a serious problem. After it happened I switched to a new vet and nobody at All Pets ever called or expressed any remorse over how things were handled with my dog. Also, how can the management read multiple reviews on how rude their front desk staff is and then basically blame it on the people writing reviews!?!? I almost left that clinic multiple times because of how rude the front desk was.

I called to see if they could possibly put my bunny to sleep because she was diagnosed with a degenerative disease process that got much, much worse overnight and my bunny’s vet is booked solid today. The person that answered the phone was incredibly rude. I calmly explained the situation and how her implying I wanted to put my bunny down for a “quick fix” hurt my heart but thanked her for her time. She said “you’re welcome” and abruptly hung up.

Absolutely horrible experience. We brought our hamster in to get a growth removed and they told us they could remove it and didnt. all they did was leave a huge gash in her neck and leave her to bleed out. she passed away after assuring us she would survive and we payed $200. We went in to nicely ask for some of our money back and the front desk lady called the police on us when we were being extremely polite. a grieving pet owner gets the cops called on them by the place that killed their pet. absolutely ridiculous.

Dr. Jewell and her staff take excellent care of the animals they see. I have taken my personal pets to them for years and never had a complaint. She also saw the animals for a wildlife rehabilitation clinic I use to work for and always provided top notch care.

Thus is a great veterinarian. I brought my rescued bearded dragon to them and they did everything in their power to help my dragon and also took the opportunity to teach me how to give the antibiotics by IV and to give water bolus under her skin. I really appreciated the care they showed toward my Atlas.

1st time at All Pets. Highly impressed w/cleanliness, attention to detail in assessing my pets, exceptional knowledge of exotic pets & dogs/cats. Staff & techs were incredibly friendly, patient, & knowledgeable. Never felt rushed & left feeling so informed & great about trusting my babies here. Price was also reasonable & better than expected.

Well I've never owned a rabbit before and I took my 6 week old baby Marley ???? to them. And Jewell was great and her assistant. Very knowledgeable and helpful, she had some perisits in her poop but I was giving medicine for her and so far so good, tomorrow makes two weeks where I'll have to bring another sample to make sure they are gone. I paid $103.00 for a full exam, they trimmed her nails, medicine and very polite. I will be taking her back to get spayed around November, which will be about$ 250. Well worth it I feel.thank you guys

It is EXTREMELY over priced for what you get. A basic checkup is $55 for one bunny and they do not pay great attention to the animal. It seems as though they do not care. On top of that, the receptionist was extremely rude, she not only rolled her eyes at me, but got annoyed at another customer for asking questions. This was my first time here and I was recommended by friends, but I will not be back.

I took my rabbit Baloo here for a check up and a neuter. I was so nervous about the situation. They answered all my questions and Baloo is recovering wonderfully. I am so thankful. The boarding place attached to this office too is great and I also had my little guy stay there while I went on a weekend get away. Thank you to the vets for checking up on Baloo and dealing with his huge personality!!!

My animals are so cared for and loved by the staff here. I will gladly drive out of my way for all the vet staff's WONDERFUL dedication to the care and quality of life of their patients. If you have bunnies Dr Jewell and her team are hands down the BEST for the care of these delicate babies. My cat loves them as well!

They referred me to an incompetent vet who misdiagnosed and resulted in my fur baby having organ failure. Don't go to Crestwood vet.

I was very impressed with the care and time they spent with my bird, doing their best not to make the visit any more stressful than it needed to be. Very knowledgeable and handled him expertly! Not a lot of options for avian exotics in the area so I am so very glad I found them! I feel totally confident recommending them for avian care. Thank you!

Bart, our second oldest ferret... almost died. He's older, so he sleeps a lot more than our two girls. And since they all sleep in a big puppy pile it escaped my notice that he had been losing weight. They don't get let out to play in the living room as much since this viral outbreak... for their safety. One of us still has to go out around people (ew people) and we've been extra cautious about interaction. You see... Bart has always had a deep and profound passion for squeaky toys. And somehow, at some point... a squeaky toy was placed inside the ferret enclosure. I'm absolutely sure it was an attempt to entertain them since they haven't been out as much lately. When I finally realized he wasn't feeling well, he had lost significant weight, and was refusing food of any kind. I was sure this was the beginning of the end for him. And I was devastated. Upon inspection Dr. Jewell discovered something oddly shaped in Bart's abdomen. A foriegn object. I knew as soon as she said it, that he must have eaten a chunk of a squeaky toy. Because that seemed like some stupid stunt Bart would do. It's why I always discarded toys that showed signs of damage. But again... I didn't know that there was one inside their cage. And I didn't know to look there. Bart ate a whole ear off of a squeaky toy dog. Swallowed it whole. I've always discarded toys that start showing signs of wear and tear. But, I don't keep toys in their cage... so I didn't think to look for a toy in there. She was going to try to help him pass it naturally, with IV fluids and hydration. Xrays confirmed the object was somewhere in his intestines and they also showed a massive bubble of gas in his stomach. She indicated to us that she was going to insert a feeding tube to allow the air to leak out. But as soon as she felt resistance... she notified us that they were going into surgery. He had stomach torsion. The surgery lasted about 52 minutes from incision to sutures. The rubber ear was removed, the gas bubble was released, and she inspected his other organs for damage while she was in there. No signs of tumors anywhere. Healthy pancreas, spleen, adrenals, liver... so aside from the damage done by the rubber ear, he was in great shape. He was stable. By the morning after the surgery he was already perking up and dancing some for them. You could tell the entire staff was just as invested emotionally in his recovery as we were. Because the viral plague restricted us to remain in our vehicle in the parking lot... the staff stood out near our car and socialized a bit through the window. We swapped stories and were all very happy with how this situation ended. We have a vet we can trust with our exotic pets. Doctor Jewell DVM and her entire team saved Bart's life. If you're in the market for a reliable exotic vet I suggest All Pets Veterinary Center on Dorsey lane. Everyone there is amazing. Honestly if you're looking for a vet in general, this is a great place. Yes we ... *might* have panicked and asked them to check one of our cats out too, because his stomach had been upset... he's fine aside from being his normal sensitive tummy self. Better safe than sorry.

Excellent!! What a blessing these people are when I needed them the most! My little green Cheek conure needed emergency help and our favorite veterinarian was already closed...but, they sent us to All Pets! We actually got parking lot service! Thanks, ladies!

I am an experienced dog/cat mom/foster and recently became a bunny mom too. My regular vet doesn't treat rabbits and referred me to Dr. Jewell. Treating exotics requires extensive schooling and tons of experience that most vets have not acquired like Dr. Jewell. I'm no rookie when it comes to great vet service as I've seen my fair share, and this practice knocked it outta the park! I am admittedly inexperienced with rabbits so Dr. Jewell and and her incredible assistant, Lori, spent a considerable amount of time teaching me how to take care of my bun babies. They recently spayed one of my rabbits (a very concerning surgery that requires a great deal of expertise) and again, they were amazing! Lori knows absolutely everything you could ever want to know about rabbits (and I'm sure a million other things) and explains it all in a friendly, easy manner that makes you feel good knowing she's got your back. I was beyond impressed and felt compelled to share my experience with others. Seriously amazing all around and I'm so grateful to have found such an incredible team that treats exotics in my own city as they are rare.

I have been coming to this vet since 2011 for various cats, dogs and small animals. I have always liked Dr. Jewell and Dr. Ladegast. (However one of the front staff is and has always been rude.) I made an appointment this morning at 8am for blood work for my senior dog. I called from the parking lot (COVID restrictions) at my arrival. A technician came out and said they could not see my dog as she needed an examination. Well, I figured there would be an examination as part of the appointment. They said, "no that is separate". I replied "well, I have been waiting all day to bring her in, someone could have called me back". At that point the technician threw her hands up, turned around and said something to the effect of 'You have to call for an appointment". I got back in my car and called the number to leave a message for Dr. Jewell. The front person (Robin?) said, "can I ask what this is in reference to as she is in surgery. I gave my name and explained the situation." "Robin" then said that because I have not had this particular dog in for her Bravecto (I travel and have various vets that I see depending on where I am at the time) Dr. Jewell needed to do an examination. I said "that's fine, you could have called me back before I arrived to tell me that". This particular issue is bigger than Bravecto (a flea and tick repellent). To which she replied "I will get your records in order and you can see another vet". As far as I am concerned, I have the records I need (I have a file for all of my animals) and I absolutely will see another vet. It is a shame that the trust I had in Dr. Jewell has been tarnished by the staff.

Dr. Jewell is the go to vet if you have an exotic pet or any other pet. She takes great care of my ferrets and has a lot of knowledge about them compared to who I have previously been to.

Dr. Jewell is amazing. We have taken all 3 of our dwarf rabbits to her and she is the best around for "exotic" pets. She knows what she's doing and has always given excellent care and treatment. She is the most knowledgeable and helpful vet we have ever seen. Not to mention her vet techs and front desk staff are also always friendly and helpful. The whole office is great.
