I took my beloved cat Rusty here after he had a seizure. The decision was ultimately made to euthanize him, but the staff here made me feel so secure in his care. The vet walked me through all of his labs, what could be going on, possible treatments, and her recommendation. She was so kind and understanding & had no problem repeating information to be when it didn’t sink in bc I was a bit of a wreck. It was a heartbreaking decision to make, but it was made better knowing that once we arrived at VSEC they were taking the very best care of Rusty possible, and helping manage his pain. Vets are always stressful for my boy so it’s beyond comforting to know that the staff here really cared about him in his final moments. If you need to go to an emergency vet, I cannot recommend this one enough.

Have been there twice. First experience was that they had one vet working and he was in surgery, they were taking no more pets. Second experience tonight we were told to wait in car in parking lot because of covid, the wait was to be 2 to 4 hours. We left to get something to eat and came back. Called number on window to have door unlocked to use restroom. Worker came out and told us we had been removed from list for leaving. We said we had left because the wait was to be 2 to 4 hours. We had only been gone 1 hour. The worker then said that she had told us to call if we were going to leave. There were two of us and we both know she did not tell us to call if we were going to leave. It would have been a simple thing to do and we would have no objection to doing that if we were told to do that. The worker argued with us that yes she had told us, so we told her what we thought of her and we left. Will never go there again under any circumstances and would never recommend this place to anyone. Don't know how they stay in business!

Waited outside for an hour. Saw 2 people leave but no one waiting went in, so decided to call. They said they wasn't taking in any more cases because they had too many emergencies....wanted to know what that meant for us. She said only people who was already inside was going to be seen. No one came out and said anything to us. Our poor dog is bleeding from his ear. Couldn't get it to stop for more than a few minutes because he kept shaking his head and ripping it back open. I considered this emergency to take him here at 1000 at night when I have to be at work at 6am. Will not use this place in the future.

I initially called because I was worried about my furbaby. The person that answered the phone was so kind and listened to his symptoms, suggested we come in and they would have someone triage him to see the severity of his symptoms. When we got there they initially told me they were diverting to other emergency vets since they had some severe cases. We asked for someone to at least come out and triage just to see if we absolutely needed to go somewhere else immediately or if they thought he could get through till the morning when we could get in to our usual vet. The person that came out to triage remembered my call and his symptoms and specifically requested with the dr that they let him in to see him. They explained everything in detail and gave a very thorough breakdown of everything they found and were doing. I can’t thank them enough for getting us in and helping my furbaby be more comfortable. Thank you to everyone there for being so compassionate.

Got my Stacie in quicker than any others in the area, and took great care of her. We appreciated the call after our visit to check on her! She’s feeling back to herself now❤️

I drove up from Bloomington yesterday with my beloved cat. I sadly made the decision to put her to sleep, after compassionate consultation with the vet team. I’m leaving this review because it was the compassion that made a hideous, heart-wrenching situation much more tolerable. A special thanks to Robert B - who was factual, yet sympathetic and supportive. And to the 2 doctors who saw my girl. The 2nd Dr (I’m sorry I don’t know her name) who was with us at the end even cried alongside me as my cat passed. My partner was home sick so I was unexpectedly alone in this situation - except that I wasn’t thanks to the staff. I wasn't rushed in the process, despite how busy they were, and was offered ashes, a paw print, and fur. The Dr. confirmed before I left that I got everything I needed. Thank you. Thank you for your compassion in what was the hardest situation. I recommend this vet to any and all. I will be back to get my girls ashes when they are ready, so we can properly honor her at home. I will never forget the kindness and compassion we were shown.

I want to thank everyone that helped make a very very hard decision to put our best friend down after he had liver failure. The options you have for us to remember him forever was also very nice ! The staff was very nice and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. I would recommend and will recommend you to everyone I know that needs your services. Thanks again and I hope I never have to do this again. ????

Pecan was a very sick kitty and the heartbreaking decision was made to euthanize him early on a Sunday morning as he was suffering terribly. The staff was amazing; compassionate, caring, empathetic. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our dear fur baby. If I could give 20 stars, I would. I Highly recommend this vet.

My 12 year old min pin had many health issues and I had to make that horrible decision to put him to sleep after having seizures for several hours. These guys took me right in, had him sedated immediately to stop the seizures and let me have as much time as needed to say goodbye. They showed me the upmost respect and sincerely gave their condolences and I left with a precious paw print of my sweet boy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If your fur friend is in distress this is the first place you should take them in the south side area of Indianapolis. I had taken my pet to another south side "emergency and speciality" vet that was very detached and did not explain very clearly to me what was going on with my cat Atticus. I was in the grey on the matter until I came to Noah's. The vet tech at Noah's explained very clearly, openly, and honestly what was going on with my cat. She was very respectful of me, my husband, and Atticus despite my absolute emotional distress and was very kind to me. The vet was also very compassionate and kind about the matter at hand and was gentle with my baby in his final hour. I realize that working in an emergency office is emotionally very hard work. But in spite of that these people showed up for us, they showed us kindness and dignity in the face of something extremely difficult for us to handle. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for their kindness.

I never leave reviews but I really felt the need to this time. Unfortunately we had to take my cat in on Thursday because he severely messed up his back and his back legs. Dr. Vaughn is the best vet we have ever encountered. He was extremely patient with us and thoroughly explained everything and gave us our options. When it was decided that euthanasia would be the best he was extremely patient with me again because I have never had to do that before. We really wish he was at a normal practice because we would love to use him as our primary vet. I highly recommend using this place for emergencies with your pets.

This place is only for the rich. No payment methods were offered. I was only told by them that I have to pay almost 3000 upfront to get my baby girl cat spayed. She has been diagnosed with pyrometra. Hardly any clinic will take her in. These people are no exception. My cat will die soon. I will hardly have any time with her. Thanks.

Dr Dixie was very thorough in examining and explaining what was going on with our Belle. I appreciate her and the staff working her in, in between more critical cases to keep her condition from turning into something g worse. Thank you!

Saved my dogs life! So appreciative of the care and calmness they handled my 13 yr old Layla. Can't say enough about Drs Vaughn and Dixie, and the kindness Selena showed explaining my take home instructions. Week after surgery she's good as new, thank you!

I had to make the decision to euthanize my cat of 18 years. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do ???? The staff was so nice and understanding and they got me in immediately. They gave me all the time I needed to be with her to say goodbye and let me hold her during the procedure ❤ I wish I had taken her here originally for her care as I was not very pleased with her normal vet. Nevertheless, they were so accommodating and empathetic and the cost was very reasonable as well.

Don't take your animal their, I told them I seen maggots on him. They said it was tape worms from the fleas. This is not tape worms.

I could not be more pleased with the service we received this evening when we brought in our cat to be euthanized. She had a stroke this morning and completely lost the use of her back legs. Our usual vet, in Bloomington, was on vacation but their staff helped locate a vet -- specifically, this one, so we could have her put down. The staff was attentive, empathetic, extremely compassionate -- and boy, howdy did it help! My partner and I were absolutely stressed out, and the staff gave us the time we needed to tell Sable goodbye and let us be with her when she died. Added plus: we have her paw prints in clay, and a snippet of her fur to remind us of her. (That means a LOT to us.) I wish I could give you guys NINE stars: you earned every single one of them this evening!

They have gone above and beyond for my bandit. They let me love him while he crossed the rainbow bridge and not one employee was rude or not understanding we will be going here for now on when we need help

This team is amazing! I've had a few experiences with them and they have never disappointed. Our most recent visit was due to blood in my dog's stool and there was a wait but bless them for being positive, caring, and taking the time with my furkid to examine her and explain to me what was going on and what their treatment plan was. We love our normal vet but rest easy knowing that this team is available to provide care. You guys ROCK!!! Thank you!!!!

It is incredibly hard to loose a pet, and maybe even harder to be the one to have to make the call that it is time to say goodbye; so the last thing I figured I would be doing after loosing my dog is leaving a Google review, but I have to say the staff here were incredible. They were patient, empathetic and compassionate with their care in my pets last moments, and my grieving. The unprompted, hand-signed sympathy card was thoughtful and completely above my expectations.

They were phenomenal and upfront about everything on the phone. We got there and the gentleman that works there came out to check the tick out and he decided to remove it immediately. He was beyond friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I have nothing but a good word for this vet hospital.

Very kind to us in a difficult situation. It was the weekend and our vet was closed. We felt they cared about our 16 year old Holly in extreme pain and the decision we had come to. Respectful of our needs.

So thankful for this vet & their ER care! We rushed our cat to this location after learning he was blocked & they were extremely helpful throughout the entire situation & were very quick to action. They communicated with us every step of the way including cost details and our cat's status. Our little guy ended up staying a few nights with them, and they called us every morning and every night with updates and welcomed questions at any time of the day. They even followed up with us a few times after taking him home giving us updates on his tests. I appreciate everything they did for our little orange child. The experience was rough on him (would be on any cat), but I can honestly say he is a much happier cat now!
