If I could give less than 1 star, I would! If you want to pay over twice as much for the same services you can get elsewhere, if you want a vet who likes money more than the idea of giving quality care for your dog, if you want to have to give $25 cash only for your vet records to be sent electronically, if you are fine w them doing things they don't explain to you and then charging you more than your agreed upon costs, then this is the place for you. If not, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! you will be happy you did!!

If you choose to use this vet, know that not everything they do to your pet is covered by the agreed upon package. Went in with two cats for shots at $190 a piece, walked out $740 lighter in the pocket book. Also, the kitten packed is advertised as $195 but then they also force you to buy their overpriced flea medication with it. Ear cleanings and blood work is extra. He will inject your pet with anything he sees fit without telling you there will be an additional charge or covering what it is that he’s injecting them with. Cleanliness. The rooms weren’t very clean, I get that considering the animals they have visit but it’s still a business and a medical facility. There are standards so infections don’t spread. The alcohol swabs weren’t held in a proper container in the room and were labeled with paper and tape. The doors and drawers of the cabinets were falling off or already removed. The facility looked low budget but the prices were not. Don’t be fooled into thinking it is a low budget clinic. Timelines. My appointment was at 215 and I didn’t see anyone in the room until 245. I didn’t leave the clinic until 3. Nearly 2 hours for what I thought were shots. They spent a total of 10 minutes in the room with us. Professionalism. The last thing I have to comment on is the staff. The vet is a salesman, not a doctor. He will rack up your bill before you even know what’s happening. The techs aren’t very educated and seem to be completely aloof to what is actually going on. They also cannot explain to you what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and if it’ll cost you more money. We all would like the very best for our pets and this is not that place for that. I hope they will read the negative comments on here and change their practices. Far too many people are giving one star reviews and I wish I read them before I made an appointment. I will be driving 30 minutes to my old vet from now on.

After reading all the bad reviews, I was skeptical of bringing our dog in, but my girlfriend convinced me to atleast give them a chance. The place was very close to where we live. The ladies that checked us in were very polite, friendly and professional. The place was very clean. The veterinarian was also very polite, friendly, professional and informative. He was also very funny and down-to-earth. Prior to bringing our dog in, we were given a rough estimate of what it would cost us, and it ended up only costing a few dollars more than what we were originally quoted, and they didn't try to sell us or tell us our dog needed more than what we took him in for. This will be our dogs permanent veterinarian. Thank you! ????????

This place is terrible. They run unneeded test on your pet. They don't ask your permission, or tell you the cost associated with said blood test. The vet talks down to you, and acts like your a bad pet owner if you tell him you'll get medicine somewhere else. You go in there for your pets yearly shots, your told a price over the phone, and when you check out, price is a few hundred more. This place is unethical. Do not go here!!

Compassionate staff, honest vet. I was expecting a higher bill for my visit than I received so that's nice too. Thanks Tim!

The building & employees didn't present as professional. The exam room was filled with black dog hair. Like others said they kept doing test, prescribing meds & trying to sell other animal products there. I went because this was the only vet I could get into ASAP. So I plan on establishing a different vet. He is the only vet working there so he seems he can do whatever...

I adopted a cat, (and this is my first cat), and with it came with a free exam. I went for the free exam, and it ended costing me $200. The things they charged for, I thought it was a part of the exam, not once did anyone say that it was separate, and that I would be charged for it

The best vet I have found! Everyone on their team is so nice and caring to the animals! They are fairly priced and inform you of costs before any procedures are performed. I'm a dentist and I can tell that the work performed on my cat was very well done, neat and clean! Everyone is so kind and I'd highly recommend them!

This clinic just wants to make money & doesn't care about the animals or money. They don't "give out" prescriptions so you have to purchase their high-priced medications/food. The vet will recommend medications that aren't necessary in order to make money. I paid the same for an office visit that I did for an inpatient stay for my cat. I switched vets because I wanted to look for the best price for the prescriptions & they refused to fax records to the new clinic. There are plenty of other good vets in Indy to give your money to.

Warning: If you love your pets don’t take them here. I had a bad feeling right from the reception area. We had an appointment and waited 50 minutes before going back. They said they were cleaning room prior to us. When we finally get to the exam room, the floor was covered in black dog hair. I have dogs that shed but really? Clean your exam rooms! So, when I made my appointment, they said that it would be $200 for yearly check up exam and $210 for the puppy package. Just like everyone else’s experiences, I walked out of there spending $700 dollars. When Dr. asked of my dogs well being, I said one had been having seizures. He immediately said that we need to do blood work and then in 3-4 weeks blood work again and then see him every 6 months. I said the puppy has had blood in her stool and Dr. prescribed medication. We have only had puppy for a week, it could be because of the change in diet. Dr. Is a pressure sales man and jumps immediately to do blood work and prescribe medication. Please do not be like me, and read the reviews prior to going to the closest vet. My visit was exactly how all the negative reviews described.

I **!!highly!! ** recommend this vet after having a terrible experience with "Michigan Street Animal Clinic. " My cat was so much more calmer, my cat wasn't timid like being at previous vet, and he's getting so much better already! This place has a very nice setting to it, with very polite and patient vets. Great If your looking for good quality and low costs!

By far the best place to get your pet checked out. The Vet is super nice and they know how to take care of animals.

I had an appt. scheduled for noon. Due to COVID, they told me to wait outside until they had a room ready and they'd call me. It's 2:45 and I have yet to receive a call to come inside. We left after about 45 mins. of waiting. On the bright side, while I was waiting - I looked thru Google reviews and decided to leave and if they actually did call - tell them I was canceling. Super disappointing as this is so close to my house but one review after another - they can't all be wrong! I now have a new appointment for Friday at a different vet and although it's a little further, the reviews are higher and I was able to fill out the new patient paperwork over the computer (it's 2020, after all...)

Horrible experience. My dog had been hurt by a car and a different vet sent him home. After a week I took him in for not eating and this vet did more x-rays and blood work and found some major issues. We decided it was best to have my dog put down. I asked if I could go home and get my kids so they could say goodbye and he said "how long is this going to take because I have a horrible head cold and was trying to move your appointment along so I can go home" then his Assistant came in and informed me it would be almost $550 and when I said I couldn't afford that, and asked if I could make any sorry if payment arrangement, they had to get approval from the vet who refused. I said I would take my dog back home and get a second opinion and my husband would take him to a different vet which is when they told me they already had the catheter in and made me feel awful that I couldn't pay to let them kill my dog. I ended up with my father in law helping cover costs and when they did the procedure, my dog started screaming and trying to get away. The Dr had to leave and go back in with different medicine so I heard my dog crying until the very end. This vet it's RUDE and inconsiderate and just disrespectful. I can not believe the experience I had here and it's absolutely hearty breaking that this vet is so money hungry and has ZERO compassion for pets or their owners. At one point, I truly felt cornered and as if they would not let me leave with my dog which is the only reason I had them do it, I truly felt STUCK and was an emotional mess because that's not what I expected to be the outcome of the visit and the vet was so callus in his way of speaking to me. I honestly assumed it was stress related appetite suppression from the accident. So I was caught off guard and heart broken then dealing with the vet and his attitude, my pup screaming until the end.... Do NOT go here.

Took my cat here 3 to 4 weeks ago. We had to put him down tonight cause he was misdiagnosed. We couldn't get into our normal vet cause they were closed at the time. He said his blood work looked the best he had seen for a cat his age. His jaw ended up swelling up and busting with infection, which we told them we think something is wrong with his mouth. He said blood work just says a bladder infection. Apperantly he was anemic. The vet that put him down said if he would of come in before with proper diagnosis they more than likely would have saved him. Plus they told us 3 different prices before actually paying 600 dollars for a bladder infection. When our vet would not have charged that, or told us 3 different prices.. they would have done the exam and everything come back out to us and cover what was charged and see if we could afford it before doing the work needing done. First it was 300. Then 400 and something, then when we went to actually pay it turned to 600 and something, cause he said he forgot to add in medication that was only 500 dollars on the bill we got. If you love them do not take them here and save yourself some money somewhere else. My cat I have had for 18 years that could have been saved if I would have taken him somewhere else.

Dirty. This place was so dirty that I was uncomfortable sitting in their reception area or letting my animal out of it's carrier. The examination table was also dirty and had two different kinds of animal hair on it while I was waiting …

If I could give zero star review, I would have done it. My dog went in for an ear infection. The so call “vet” told me my dog needed a $140 blood work, $50 for the visit and $30 for the ear test. The “vet” end up doing other procedures and gave a shot without my consent. I end up with a $370 bill. This place is not only dirty, but unethical and I am surprised they are allowed to practice medicine in our furry family members.

Wonderful staff. Danny, Whitney, and Tracy were so helpful and friendly on phone and in person! I call a lot and they are very patient with me. I’m probably driving them crazy. Dr. Timothy performed surgery on our cat. He has been great with pain management. Kitty seems to be recovering really good. One drawback is they are soooo expensive. He’s up to date on all vaccines required, but they wouldn’t touch him without giving him feline leukemia. He’s a house cat and I didn’t want to give him that. So after testing for it Added another $100. First time here so they added $49. For a getting to know you exam. I would think that should be done before all surgeries anyway. One reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. But maybe it’s true. You get what you pay for. I also think they should throw in surgery a follow up visit. It would only take 5 minutes to look at him and would give pet owners peace of mind. Overall a nice place to take your pets. I’ll still take kitty to FACE for vaccines and check up to save money. But if something seems wrong with him I would not hesitate to come here.

We took our dog here until he develop cancer and had to be put to sleep. They were wonderful about that. And now two years later we have a kitten and they're so sweet with him. The vet is really good and knows his stuff. The staff are kind and gentle with animals and owners

Our Lucy was very ill and our regular vet was not open. The office was very accommodating in getting her an appointment the same day. When the doctor took her blood he noted some very bad indicators and listed our options, one of which was to have her put down. The option we ended up taking was IV fluids for a few days, to see if she would respond. Long story short, that was June 2019 and it is now mid-Sept. We have Lucy with us and she is enjoying her life again. She is still an old dog, but is living a comfortable life. Without the efforts of this doctor and staff, we would have had to say goodbye to our beloved dog in June. We know we only bought a little more time with her so we do all we can to let her know love her.

Friendly staff, but very little owner consideration. They performed testing that was not requested and gave treatment without consultation, then over prescribed medication for a condition that was already healing. The billing was very high as a result. I will not return, use, or recommend them to others.

Very little consideration for the customer. Over priced - extremely sales oriented at every visit to sell other products. They took my puppy out of the room the other day to trim hair around her face to help with what might be causing the problem and came back in and had given her a shot as well without mentioning that need beforehand. Also, I was told last visit that if my pets condition came back again for a 3rd time, that a referral to an Ophthalmologist would be necessary or recommended. I called yesterday and asked the office girl if she could get me that referral information to not receive a call back. When I called back again today, she got the vet on the phone who said he'd need to see her again. I explained I was not interested in another vet visit for this condition with him and reminded him of our last conversation and asked him to honor his referral of an Ophthalmologist and he questioned me on whether I had the pets eye hair trimmed back and then said the nurse claimed I said something different and then literally said to me very demanding - which story is true? I was literally accused of lying. He basically decided to hold the referral hostage pending another office visit to him. I am done with this place and I have an extreme tolerance for companies that may fall short in the customer service arena. I also notice many reviews referring to this vet as overbearing with sales which has been and continues to be evident today for me as well. The office staff is great but they are under the command of a man who lacks a bedside manner.
