We love LDR - extremely reasonable boarding rates and no gimmicky upcharge for each and every thing imaginable like some places do. Lula always comes back happy and tired (in a good way!). Highly recommend

My dogs have been going to Lucky Dog for about 6 years now. This company really cares about their dogs. They are very affordable, easy access to any information on their website (including daycare cameras), and of course all of the homes they have given to rescued dogs. I love LDR!

My dog loves going here and gets so excited when we pull in the lot. The staff is super friendly and they keep it clean and safe. Prices are very competitive. Highly recommend!

My name is Scott Parker, BTW. I have a young female dog, Bailey, who is FULL of energy (read: a bit hyper) but sweet as can be and a pretty serious watchdog. Although I take Bailey to the Broad Ripple dog park to play for hours (not kidding) at a minimum of 4 days per week (sometimes 7!), some days I have to work at home and cannot do that (e.g., no time whatsoever and/or it might be raining outside). Lucky Dog Daycare is truly WONDERFUL! They have a large indoor play area where numerous dogs can run and jump and play with each other nonstop. Their prices are extremely reasonable, and their staff are very personable and caring. Also, you can actually watch your dog play via their indoor camera which monitors the dogs' play area and is linked to their website! How cool is that! Love these folks! HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

We LOVE Lucky Dog! We have been taking our dogs there for years and can’t recommend them enough. They have always went above and beyond for our pups and our dogs are always SO excited when we pull into the parking lot. Whatever you need - daycare, training, boarding, puppy socialization classes, private training, adoption - you name it, you got it. Prices are very reasonable. You will have a happier dog and a happier home with these good folks in your life!

Will not take dog to this place again. They took the collar off my dog because "the playroom can get too aggressive and dangerous for them to keep them on" which is total bs. Also my dog has a Whiste Cellular GPS and Fitness Tracker that is used to monitor things like licking and activity levels -- which is not effective if she is not wearing it or if for some reason she gets loose. A well fit collar should never be an issue in a properly controlled playroom. Also non of their webcams work. While I don't need to have this feature -- I do not see any point of having such a feature if it is working.

I have to travel more than I would like to for work, but every time I pack and grab my suitcase, Boo gets SO excited because she loves going to Lucky Dog Retreat. Having somewhere that takes such good care of her and that she loves so much when I am gone is amazing and so reassuring!

My dogs boarded here and had a blast making new friends (both Hooman and Furry). I loved that they could share a room and be together for eating and sleeping time

Staff members rock! Our dog loves the human and canine social interaction. Always one or two staff members present with lucky dogs. LDR day care and boarding are valuable services.

Absolutely love lucky dog!! My dog loves going there and all the workers are so nice! I also like that it is a non for profit, so the money I pay to take my dog there actually goes to helping other dogs that are in need, unlike all the other doggie daycare places that are just pocketing all that money. I definitely reccomend lucky dog retreat!

Lucky Dog is a fantastic place to send your dog. I adopted my pup from there and have sent her back for daycare on a weekly basis. They don’t have all the frills that other daycare/boarding facilities have - they believe in letting dogs be dogs. The dogs play with each other and get lots of love from the staff. My dog now begs me to take her to daycare, because come on, what dog would rather stay home and watch their owner stare at a computer for eight hours when they can be sniffing other dogs butts all day?

Our 6 month old puppy was approved to have regular visits. We started taking him once a week here just to help him burn off some steam. However, we were always just told that he was "a hazard/would get himself hurt". Please note that if you watch the webcams, there is no enrichment what-so-ever for an active puppy. They put them in a cement room with all the other dogs with a single slide/playground for children in the middle. So let me say this, if you have a dog that naps all day anyway and never wants to play, this is the place! However, if you dog/puppy to has any energy what-so-ever when around other dogs, expect to be banned. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. They even used him to advertise in the video at the front desk thats shows him PLAYING with another dog. You would not take your child to a daycare that just places them in a room with nothing to do, so have the same decency with your dog. If you don't believe me, they have webcams on the website.. see for yourself!
