We have taken our dog, Charli, here several times & we haven’t even looked elsewhere. Charli is a difficult cut because she has thick, wavy to curly hair and lots of it. We always have them cut her like a short-haired lab. We have had a few different groomers & have liked them all. Jonathan was our groomer today and Charli looks amazing! She’s so happy to get rid of all that extra hair in this heat! Thank you!

I recommend taking your pet elsewhere. They cut my dog and didn't bother mentioning it. They messed up her haircut as well. Not sure why I was still charged. Hilarious you say that on here. I complained and was excessively harassed and threatened by you over it for days on end. You even threatened to take legal action against me for leaving an honest review and demanded I remove it from Facebook and Google. That's far from everything you had to say to me about the whole situation. The problems could've been "fixed" and even non-existant by a groomer paying attention to what she's doing, how animals react to injuries, and by doing what she's supposed to be doing instead of ruining styles and chopping off a long, lifelong hairstyle that has never and will never grow back, cutting it in a fashion she's not even supposed to be groomed in, a way your otger groomer didn't understand why it would've even been cut the way it was before they couldn't do anything to actually fix it or look presentable with length. Trust me, had I known what the entire experience and especially/mainly dealing with you would've been like, and all the online messages and phone calls I received from you for days on end (until I had no choice but to threaten to report you for harassment because you would not stop calling me multiple times a day after repeatedly being told to stop, before I had to threaten to resort to contacting my attorney whose name I shared with you), I would've gladly paid you at least quintupple to have told me to go elsewhere before what your establishment did to my dog. Honestly, I don't even know why you bothered calling or trying to speak to me at all about it; all you did was try to argue and getting a single word in edgewise with you was impossible. Not getting interrupted was impossible then too. I'm just glad you're attorney you thought would harassing me next finally told you to stop the harassment because honest reviews are not illegal or means for you to try to bully someone into silence. Thanks again for charging me full price after ruining my dog's hair for the rest of our lives and keeping a large wound a secret. I can't even imagine how my dog reacted, squirmed and probably fought to war away from the injury, and tge possibility of someone most likely fighting her to cooperate while in distress. Probably why she acted so backwards and absolutely did not want to go back in there (for the first time ever) after that grooming session and acted scared when I brought her back in to get that haircut "fixed" that your groomers just made even more screwed up looking. Even worse, this groomer is considered one of your "best." I understand everyone has a bad day sometimes, but the haircut was a huge, major, inexcusable screw up, like what was cut was even screwed up the way it was cut (cut wrong on top of not supposed to be done), and so was the large slice of skin missing from her body, and especially trying to play it off like a cut/bleeding from an injury like that went unnoticed (right along with my dog's behavior in reaction to it, like I'm sure she just stood still and acted normal when it happened and when she just kept on clipping). I feel like a bad pet mom for even having taken her to this place, even years later after I had to "fix" her permanent haircut myself. Then, even after all that, you still disputed the review with google to have it removed. Shady shady shady.

My dog loves his groomer Jenny. Last time wasn't the greatest hair cut and I asked for him not to be cut as short and he came out short. I told the gentleman but I guess a communication error?! Otherwise its a great place for grooming.

They are very caring groomers and do a great job. My only negative is the price but that doesn't deter me from using them as my groomer.

Took my dog Izzy for a grooming. From the time the call was made until we picked her up the staff was polite and kind. They did an amazing job on her. This was our first time going to PLC. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend them!! Thank you all for such great service!!

Took my two boys here and the groomers were awesome! I was very anxious about leaving my beagle because he's an anxious dog and I didn't want him to get hurt or start a fight or cause chaos with his big mouth lol. But Jenny and Deedee (and others whose names I didn't catch-sorry!) were so welcoming to both my dogs and were especially accommodating for both of them and tailored their approach to keep both dogs calm and comfortable (well...as much as my beagle can be haha). Thanks so much for your support today ladies and great job on cleaning up the ruffians!

I was worried about a dog I took in who had been abused getting nails trimmed. The dog was more well behaved than at home. They are patient, kind and great with all dogs.

Why are nail trims restricted to a 4 hour tome frame only? Not only did I have issues parking because of construction but as soon as I got up to the door- there is a sign saying nail trims 10-2 ONLY

The young lady absolutely BUTCHERED my Scottie mix and then called a month later explaining we were being charged a $25 no show fee for a non-existent appointment. We then explained we were not coming back and expressed our disappointment and she hung up in the middle of our conversation. We will not be taking our dog nor recommending to other dog families. Extremely disappointed in the professionalism and quality of this business.

Went here a to get my dogs nails done- I was happy it was convenient to walk-in and do it. But the short haired girl acted like I was bothering her. The receptionist was very rude also. It was just a weird amosphere I felt like a bother.. probably won’t go back

Spoke ill of my grandfathers preferred groomer; the owner yelled at my grandfather on the phone. All around disrespectful. He had sworn by this place until this week. Sad, sad situation. My family will be sure to let friends and acquaintances know the way loyal customers are treated when they don’t do what the workers want. My grandpa is a man of habit, and he had the same groomer for a while. I’m disappointed that a grown woman had the audacity to yell and be so disrespectful to a regular customer. She also banned him from ever returning. None of our family will ever return. I pray she gets the help she needs and understands yelling at people isn’t the way to get her way.

*** edit after owners response: I want to be clear, I’m not displeased with the services that didn’t happen. I never asked for them. Yet they charged me anyway and said they were unable to do them. I NEVER asked for them! I didn’t want them done in the first place. why would they charge me for them when 1. I never even mentioned ANY of that stuff and 2. They couldn’t do them. I didn’t care that they couldn’t be done. I care that I was overcharged for services that I did not request or receive. And the cat scratching thing is what the groomers told me, they didn’t say anything about biting. I am only going off of what they said. Of course safety is first! But again, I did. Not. Ask. For those services. would you be okay if a business charged you for services you didn’t ask for and they didn’t do? And then blamed your cats reaction for it for not performing them? They shouldn’t have tried in the first place. I had a great experience whenever I spoke to employees on the phone, asking questions and scheduling an appointment. I had to reschedule my first appointment and they were super helpful. The afternoon of my appointment, I brought my cat in and the original woman I spoke to was SO nice and helpful. I asked for a belly/butt shave and nail trim after a bath and blow dry. When I picked my cat up, I was charged $80...which was the price of a bath/dry, full shave, nail trim, paw hair trim, ears and eyes cleaned. I asked if all of that was done and she said no. she said she forgot to do it then he was upset once in the carrier and she didn’t want him to scratch her. Understandable! I get it. She said she would still do his ears if I wanted her to. I declined, saying this was fine. But I wanted to know why I still had to pay for all of those services when I didn’t receive half of them...they said I still had to pay the $80 for all of the services, even though I never requested them AND I didn’t even receive them. The short hair girl (Jenny? I think that’s who it is according to website photos) came around to the front and asked again if I wanted Charity to do the ears. Again, I declined. She then said that Charity didn’t want to do the rest of the services because she didn’t want to get scratched after putting him in the carrier. Again, I understand that. But why didn’t you just do all of this before you put him in the carrier? When you were already working with him? Then she said Charity had told me she wanted to do it, but was waiting for me to come pick him up so I could assist...that isn’t what Charity had said to me, and when I mentioned that, Jenny got super snotty with me and spoke to me like I was an idiot from the front desk to the back hall way I walked down to leave. Incredibly unprofessional. so, long story short, I paid for a bunch of services I didn’t ask for or receive and both groomers didn’t see an issue with that. Living in a small town, I wanted to find a groomer here that did a great job so I could start making it a regular thing without driving an hour or more round trip. I feel like I got scammed and wont be back. On the upside, he does smell good and his fur looks nice.

Worst cut my dogs have ever received. I have a Yorkie and a Bischon Frise. They both came home shaved without their specific style associated with their breed. This would not happen with properly trained groomers.

Wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. I have a Maine coon who had become matted. She had never been to a groomer. They did exactly what I requested. Ashley is awesome

Do not go to this place!! They will overcharge you and not complete all services! The owner is a very rude and unprofessional person! Thankfully there are other grooming shops in our small town!
