Definitely the shadiest pet store I’ve been to. I felt horrible for the small animals at first because the enclosures are just not.. enclosed. They have no lid and many children and adults were just grabbing the poor things out of their boxes as they were running away, same thing with the birds too. Then, they had tons of sweet looking but exhausted puppies and tons of little rooms you can hold them in, seemed very sketch and have never been to a pet store like this before, the poor dogs didn’t have any bedding or anything to lay on either, just the cold metal floors of their tiny enclosures. I hope they can get either the program and use lids for the small animal cages. Very very sad, imagine how many little guys have just been stolen too, very sketch, unsanitary, and sad for the animals. I read how they use puppy mills too, I’ve never heard that until now (I never heard of this pet store before) but I believe it, it makes sense why some of the puppies are thousands of dollars.

I loved this place. I was mostly excited about playing with a couple of the dogs and high hopes of getting one. Just fyi these pets are pure bred so unless you have the cash (upwards of 5k) or great credit applying is a waste of time...btw you're applying for their credit card to get the pet. But my experience was fantastic the employees are some of the nicest employees I've been around in quite a while. The dogs we're so sweet! I'm just petty because they stole my heart! ❤ Usual prices expected for a pet store but great place. Very loving atmosphere! If You can get approved or have cash definitely go hear!! They'll steal your heart!!

Lots of animals... clean cages... one of the better Petlands. Still over priced! Make sure to make offer because they will negotiate price.

They take advantage of women and children on price gauging, hidden fees, puppy mill. Keep away!

Love the store, come here regularly for feeders, but honestly placing speakers above the reptile tanks is poor care. Vibrations are terribly stressful for reptiles. Hope someone who cares sees this.

Pets are good but they give food for them but they don't ask if u have food and the food is like 45

$3,000 for mixed breeds is outrageous

It is close to home, I have made some purchases here....the people seemed nice enough, BUT I've been seeing TV commercials about petland and their use of puppy Mills, so I'm not sure how I feel about supporting this business. The average family does not need a pure breed dog.... go out and rescue a dog who needs a good home. I used stray haven rescue for my last dog, and they have been wonderful to work with

My family had gone there after our dog was in a accident. I was grieving. We got a dog which I was not aware of the price which was outrageous! She is a pretty dog a Havanese BUT she had to of been mistreated she is VERY AGGRESSIVE AND BITES! You can't love on her. these dogs temperament are not aggressive! We had paid a dog trainer to help with her. Going to have vet run tests this is very abnormal! Did not know she came from a puppy mill!!!!

The prices of these dogs ????????????????????! I expected the dog prices would run fairly high compared to adopting or purchasing from breeders, but did not expect a small fortune. On top of that all dogs are spayed/neutered so no chances of reproduction if someone so chooses to. I understand the list of additives that come with the price - spayed/neutered, first 3 round of shots, cage and toys......but the price difference of a dog that usually costs no more than 1500ish sky rocketing to 5000 is a bit unreasonable. I had priced 2 dogs as you will see, a maltipoo and pekapoo. I also asked where the pricing started as I was in disbelief at price tags, and was told typically around 3000 and the dogs go on sale if they're unsold after about 2 months. All dogs arrive around 8 weeks old. As bad as I wanted to take the peekapoo home, I couldn't stomach the outrageous price, I would have rather went without the additions and taken her to get all vetinary needs done myself, and I didn't need the cage. So, I 'll have to look elsewhere. The 3 starts I did give, was because the staff is super friendly, informative and its clear the dogs are very well cared for. Also I went back to Petland, because I had bought a dog 13 years ago from them that recently passed away (but the price tag was only $600) it was a miniature and she lived a pretty healthy life, and the vet was always impressed with her health as she aged. I made me more sad to have to walk away from a dog the was tugging at my hear ????.

Great customer service. Everything I need for my dog is here and the food was actually cheaper than Amazon and Walmart (I price compared while I was there).

Petland Fairfield was a great experience for me and my family the staff was very attentive knowledgeable about the puppies and very friendly this is our second time buying a puppy from them once in 2018 and recently we got a multi-Poo very very healthy dog, thanks again to all the staff.

Please reconsider shopping here for ANYTHING. The staff are all very kind and helpful but the store itself is very shady. All the prices are outrageous and buying a dog here is the worst place you could go.

Donate 2 female calico kittens staff was very friendly bout taking them in for family will take them home for loving families

PLEASE ADOPT! DON’T SHOP! This place is absolutely horrible. They double up dogs in the cages and one of the workers dropped a bird while putting it in a box for a customer. Humans are terrible. Sick world we live in
