Mike's Mobile Veterinary Service Fairfield, Indiana

My first experience with Mike's was relatively positive (considering my call was to have my daughter's old and sick hamster euthanized). He came out; he was friendly and the visit was quick. However, I recently attepmted to make an appointment for one of my rats. I called two separate days and left two msgs with my name and number, since no one answered either time. I never got a call back even just to say he was booked or not interested in treating a rat. That rat subsequently died. She had been sick for some time and my regular vet couldn't diagnose her. I have three other rats, a guinea pig, and 11 cats. I was considering making Mike's my regular vet because of the convenience and my past positive experience, but if I cannot depend on them to return a call or consistently treat my animals, I'll look elsewhere.

First of all- they came to me!! They took care of both my cats asap and were good at explanations, questions and rates! They won't try to rob you blind! I felt like I had known these guys for years and they were letting a young student ride/observe for possible future career. That's awesome. Call them, you won't regret it!

Our two cats became patients of Dr. Mike when we relocated to Cincinnati in Spring of 2021. Both of our cats are older and the kitty who was experiencing health issues (Alice) also has acute stranger danger. Dr. Mike and his staff handled both cats gently, explained the testing they would do for each, and called us with results as soon as they had them. We were able to start treatment right away and Alice is doing well. I'm in frequent contact with Dr. Mike's team to manage the health of our cats and they are always proactive and responsive. Dr. Mike clearly does his research and he also listens to his clients. I've had him call me at 7:30 in the evening to review lab results. He's a great vet and he has a great veterinary team all around.

Thanks Dr. Mike for neutering the cat I found! My Vet passed away a few years ago and I needed a home Vet service being disabled and Dr. Cohen is the answer for me. Professional service and great bedside manners with listening to this old cat lady ramble on about her cats, LOL! I highly recommend Dr. Cohen if you need a home Vet service and if I need him in the future, I will be using him again.

We love this team! Mike & Jim are great! They have been our go to vet for 5 years. We have 3 animals and the convenience of a mobile vet is AWESOME! Highly recommend!!

I cannot express how awesome Mobile Mike's Veterinarian is! From the woman answering phone calls to the technicians and Dr. Mike himself are an absolutely amazing staff, highly highly recommend using them for any of your pet care needs. My dog just had a tumor removed, they pulled up in front of my house I took Buddy out, I could come and go as I wanted during his surgery. I was 1 million percent comfortable with buddy in their care. Absolutely phenomenal! Thanks again Dr. Mike and crew, you all are amazing!

Oh my gosh! I’m so impressed! April and Paula came, shaved the mats out of our demon cat, and were gone within 15 minutes! Miracle workers for sure, I highly recommend them!

Dr. Mike and Jim are fantastic. They are caring, friendly and excellent with all 8 of my animals. I have 3 wolfdogs that all require a little extra patience, understanding and finesse and they are excellent with them. I also have 2 house dogs and 3 cats. The mobile truck arrives with my friendly vet and my animals go in one by one and its a lot easier on them. The convenience for me, the lower stress for my animals, the pleasant and professional experience are all valid reasons for using Mike's Mobile Veterinary Service.

I am soooo happy that this vet service exists. I am 7 months pregnant. I am only allergic to my dog for some reason when he’s anxious and I have to be in a close quarter in the vets office. I go home usually with cold and flu like symptoms that don’t go away without treatment. I also have a toddler and that means I take her with me when we have to take our 70lb dog to the vet. My husband wants no part in taking him to the vet Thats for sure !!! But he was more than willing to put him in Mikes mobile truck ! Lol. I am sooo grateful for them.

Very kind and considerate. Astute in diagnosis. Patient explaining procedures. Caring and positive. SO much better than a vet office visit. My cat was not traumatized by a car ride or scared by other animals. I highly recommend!

I cannot say enough in one review about Mike's Mobile Vet. His services are second to NO ONE! Very prompt and very professional. Prices are also under going rates per the area that I live in as well. I will never be using another vet for my German Shepherd ever again. The biggest plus is that he literally pulls into your driveway and it's a short walk for all of your dogs needs.

Wonderful experience! They did dental work for my stray to home cat and they responded to each text as I worried every step of recovery.

Mike and Jimmy have been out twice to see my cats. They are both incredible. They are amazing with the animals with four legs and two. Lol. Dr Mike spends time talking to you to know what is going on with your pet and invites you to stay and observe. I would highly recommend their service anytime.

Mike is a wonderful vet, and we have appreciated his service so much for our dog over the past three years. He's a caring and thorough doctor, and the convenience of having the vet come to you is hard to beat. But perhaps their success has also been part of their downside. It has increasingly been more and more difficult to get appointments with wait times from 4 to 6 weeks out. If you are only taking your pet in for annual check ups, this is a great solution, but if you want more accessibility, it may still be best to visit a brick and mortar location. But as a practitioner, I fully endorse Dr. Cohen.

I called on a recommendation from a friend. Our schnauzer who was 13 and blind and deaf needed to be put down. This was a hard decision for us. Rex hated car rides and hated vets even more. I didn't want his last day to be full of terror. I was able to have all of my kids at my house while it was being done. I have never had a vet tech have so much compassion. They were simply amazing. Thank you for letting rex go with all of his family by his side.

This is the way to do Veterinary service! Dr. Mike, and Jim were caring, compassionate, and thoroughly professional. Having them come to my home to provide initial checks on my 2 large rescue dogs was so stress free. Prices are comparable too! Loved these guys!

worst vet I have ever contacted, had to play phone tag cause all you do is leave voice messages, when you finally do get someone all they do is refer you to someone else. save yourself some time and just go to a vet cause thats all this is.
