I've taken my younger well cat to this vet since we got her last Fall. They caught her up on her shots and did a basic exam. I appreciated their friendliness, clean facilities, and treatment. Update: 12/7/2021: after 3 years, I still feel this is a great vet center. Their care is consistently good.

Would not refer anyone here in my opinion. My puppy broke his paw so I came in for an appointment. They told me he would need surgery. Did not even want to attempt to wrap it up or give him a cast! Charged me $328 for the visit with no real guidance or concerns for my pet. Took them forever to send me copies of his X-rays to my email finally got them after the fourth attempt. I’m not a happy customer and will not be back here for lack of concern and over pricing when they did nothing. They should of wrapped it up to try to prevent more damage to his paw. If your really care about your animals I would not take them here. They will just leave you with a big bill and no answers nor concerns.

*** Update *** Wife called and reported the situation. Owner and upper management pulled the tapes and apologized for her behavior. I still stand with my review and will continue coming back but will refuse service if Dr. Gina Doss is our doctor. Burnt a bridge that’ll never be rebuilt. She needs better people skills. Dr. Gina Doss, if you even want to call her a doctor. She is probably the most inconsiderate person that works there and is the worst representative of the company you could possibly have. Our cat fell and broke his leg and given two options either amputate or put him down. We discussed as a family and with his health issues, age and quality of life afterwards we decided to put him down unfortunately. Gina Doss judged us to the point of embarrassment. My wife and I both balling our eyes out and she didn’t comfort us or apologize for the situation but instead stared judgmentally at us and on top of that gave us the option to surrender the cat. Gina Doss needs to be reevaluated and retrained on her person skills and comforting skills because she lacks in both departments. Both she and the tech were non apologetic after he was put down and didn’t comfort either of us. We have been coming here for 2-3 years and after yesterday we will never return unless it’s another doctor. If you go here and Dr. Gina Doss is your doctor refuse service and leave or ask for another doctor because you will be judge and you will not be comforted in anyway possible. She’s a sad excuse for a doctor. Doesn’t help that it’s also very expensive

Today was my first experience at Animal Care Center of Fairfield. Everyone was very kind and professional, they also treated my girl very well. Dr. Gina was very personable and very informative. The vet tech, Royal I believe his name was, is also very sweet. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a positive environment for your pets.

1. My dog never had an issue with getting her nails cut but after one time getting them cut at this vet, she is traumatized and freaks out. 2. A few weeks ago I called because my dog had been throwing up and having diarrhea and the woman on the phone said she would leave a not for the doctor to call me back. I waited 3 days and heard nothing so I called again and the next person on the phone said there were no notes of that. Overall so annoyed and unimpressed by this vet and can’t wait to take my dog elsewhere after our plan is up!

The first lady I talked to was very rude and hung up on me with no actually reasoning. She also seemed to have an attitude and I don’t tolerate that, especially since I didn’t even get a chance to talk. No disrespect, just saying.

My dog had her left front dew claw, that was barely hanging on, injured while playing in the yard. The person who took her in was personable, professional, and caring. The Dr. was able to remove the nail completely with no complications. The experience was perfect from start to end. The price was reasonable and pup was wrapped up perfectly. She is healing great and back to her normal spunky self. Thank you Animal Care Center of Fairfield! Y'all ROCK!

We took our cane corso puppy here for ear cropping and Dr.Wendy and her staff were ALL very friendly professional and loving to our puppy !!!! We r beyond happy and thankful ???? ❤

This place is the best. The doctors truly care for your pet like their own. The vet techs are so pleasant and caring and takes fantastic care of your pets. Everyone from the front desk to the techs to the doctors are 10's. Highly recommend this facility.

Kennel both of my dogs when I went on vacation. When I picked him up both had kennel cough and my boxer has by now and this right eye. If there was an option for zero that’s what I would rate.them.

I had to rush my dog to the hospital today when he was choking. I have never been to this facility before. We had just moved to fairfield this year and my dog has a regular vet he sees in Colerain. I had to rush to the nearest hospital because he was struggling to breathe. The events all unfolded in a matter of minutes... it was terrible to watch and to not be able to help him... and by the time I turned into their lot I think whatever was stuck became dislodged. But I wanted to make sure his airways were clear. They ran xrays on his throat and chest. The Dr called and was very polite. He ended up being shaken up but okay. He is home resting now after his big days events. I would highly recommend in an urgent situation. They got him in and seen right away. Thank you for being there today in what I thought was going to turn into a very grave moment.

I read reviews and despite what some of them said I brought my dog in for vaccines and a wound on his ear. The vet techs were friendly, but no one knew what to do about his ear. My husband had to try to help them bandage it but it was very clear to us they didn’t know how to help, even the vet seemed unsure. We left paying WAYYY too much, and VERY unhappy. The bandages were off our dog in a second and he’s still bleeding so whatever they charged us for clearly didn’t work. We will not be returning to this vet, very frustrated and feeling sad for our pup who didn’t receive the best care possible.

So I've been going to this same place for over a year now, they provide a pretty good protection plan for your animal and provide pretty well care besides two incidents that has been recent. Today I went in to get my dog's ears tested and treated for allergies. He came out with a bloody face and 3 long scratch marks. The vet never notify me at all and I did not realize till getting home that he was bleedy from his neck and his right cheek. Second incident was with the same vet Alyssa Myers, this time she provided my dog with a steroid for his allergy. This steroid never helped any symptoms of his allergies but also gave him side effects that were also not told to me by my vet. So overall, DO NOT go to ALYSSA MYERS. She cares more about selling her medicine instead of notifying you about your dog.

They sold me on the wellness plan on all the stuff it covered it would save so much money it wouldn't make sense not to sign up for it. Except they never told me it's not a savings you literally have to pay back everything and I still had to pay for things when I took her. Also the online scheduling doesn't work anymore. Everytime I took my dog in, a few days later I would get a notification that she was due for a preventative shot that I don't understand why they couldn't have done that when I was just there. I understand that their wellness plan isn't pet insurance I just wish they wouldn't have explained it to me like it was because when I went to cancel it because she hadn't been back in a few months, I had to pay the full balance up front.

It actually pains me to write this because when I first starting taking my dog here five years ago, I was amazed at how great everything was. I told everyone to take their pet here. The Pet Program was an amazing value and worth money spent. But now, they have changed the Pet Program, there is no value in it anymore, in my opinion. And to put the nail in the coffin for me to never step foot in this place again, they will no longer fill a prescription through Chewy for my dogs. I get an email stating that they no longer fell comfortable doing this. But they will match the price! No, you won't. You will not give me the money back that I would have received. I will not call or go to this place again. They appear to have become money hungry and no longer do right by their customers or patients. They want to do whatever they can to make more money. Yes, I know times are hard right now for all of us, but there are reasons that I choose to have my dogs meds delivered to me and for me to not go and get them. Animal Care Center, thank you for turning out to be a total inconvenience in me trying to care for pet. Response to Owner: The prescription that your business denied was from Chewy.com for Heartgard and Nexgard. No reason, in my opinion for these to be denied. As for your value, you removed the things that a lot of people used because, and I quote, "people were complaining about not using things they were paying for." This was told to me by several members of the staff. Well what about the people that used the things that were removed? I truly felt like that my business was no longer valued. Why not make a another plan that suited the people complaining instead of removing things from plans that others were using. And that is great that you have started a delivery service for prescriptions. But I get my dog's food, treats, and other things from Chewy, so I get coupons and discounts on orders. I have been told that this price will not be matched. Only the price that shows online. So again, just a huge disappointment all the way around. I do appreciate you responding to my review. Most businesses stay away from reviews to avoid fires. It is good to see you standing up for your business. That I can respect.

Dr Wendy is the best. The staff are great. They were very attentive to all the concerns and answered all questions that I had. I would highly recommend Animal Care Center to everyone.

EVERY.Single.Time. we come here we have to wait 30 minutes before anyone comes out to get our pet. Asked for the very first nail appointment because -I have to work & I cannot wait in the parking lot for an hour for a nail trim. Husband got there 5 minutes before appointment, no cars in the lot. 20 minutes later no tech, full parking lot. Called to see what the hold up is, they asked "what is your pet's name again?" He left because he had to go to work. Why on earth do they continue to take appointments when not one time have my pets been seen remotely close to the appointment time. As far as their online pharmacy-it spams me constantly and the ship time took over 2 weeks the two times I used it . We were told they no longer accept CareCredit but it's all over their paperwork. The pet package is good for puppies, and not having to pay for visits but you have to pay it all back, even if your pet passes. The email to Dr.s is awful, you need to call and make sure they put the email in the Dr.'s box. The only Dr I trust is Dr Monika and she is always booked up, so if you have a emergency just go to the Emergency Pet place on Kemper. (It's gonna cost you though) I don't know when they stopped being a caring vet and turned into a corporate mess, I guess it's been this way for a couple of years but once you sign up for that pet package you are hooked in for the money. Look for a non corporate vet. This one is all full up.

While Animal Care Center was recommended highly by a friend, I did not have the same luck with them. My dog was not fed the food or treats I brought for him, his blanket had poop all over it (no idea why because he's never had accidents at home), and the staff ignored the dislocated toe that I specifically asked them to keep an eye on (which managed to become dislocated again over the weekend - grrrr!) This bad toe was the whole reason I chose to board him at a 24 hour emergency vet center! The manager I spoke to about these issues seemingly cared and credited me for the lack of care provided, but our poor dog will not be returning to this facility.

We have had the unfortunate experience of having to lay two dogs to rest in the last year and they were so dang sweet and caring. I don’t know where you find these doctors, but they are unbelievable.

Kylie was so nice and caring today. I really appreciate the time and attention that she gave me concerning my dog who has Congestive Heart Failure and is on a lot of meds. When you're dealing with something so serious and expensive, it's comforting to have someone that is patient and understanding. Thanks Kylie, you made my day !

Everyone is so nice here! They make sure to call me a few days after the visit with my animals to check up on them! Everyone is always so nice to me. My animals dont like it but they never loved going to the vet! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this! Thank you !!

There a shady vet ,that will Louie to coder terre mistakes . I will never go to this vet again and my cat is still getting the danger problem that was supposed to be taken care many hundreds later and her still is not well . The staff is rude and unproffesional.

When my baby Doc got sick after UCAN neutered him, animal care clinic swooped in and kept him for two nights giving him the care he needed. They were so caring and loving towards him and didn't mind me constantly calling to check on him. They did a fantastic job and he is back to his old self now! The staff here is wonderful!
