I have taken my cat since she was a kitten to Rover the Rhine, and have had a wonderful experience every time. She has had a great number of medical issues, and I’ve always been impressed with the care she receives. Dr. Kat is always informative, and tries her best to balance thorough examinations and affordability by ordering only the necessary tests and trying one thing at a time. I am confident that my cat is in good hands.

Great service!!! Kind and responsive staff. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet clinic that treats you and your fury babies with the same respect and care as you'd expect in a human doctor's office.

Wonderful place to get pet food and they make it themselves.

My dog is allergic to the bordatella or Distemper vaccine and has not been able to receive it her whole life. My dogs suffering with a possible infection and the receptionist ignorantly told me unless they give her the vaccines they would not help her. Then when I told her thats not possible because shes allergic and almost died last time she got them... And that is seems they are more concerned with money then helping my dog who is sick and needs help the receptionist simply hung up on me abruptly.

Great service, great prices, and knowledgeable employees. Also one of the few places that offers walk in service in the city. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Did not like this business at all. Always had to wait 25+ minutes for them to see my cat (I was on time) because they always see the dogs first. Then would walk in and immediately give my cat a shot without even telling me what it was. Then charged me 20 dollars to clip my cats claws without asking or telling me. Always felt like they were just trying to extract money out of me

Had a great first experience at Rover the Rhine. Despite COVID restrictions not allowing me to go in with my cat, the doctor immediately called me to let me know everything going on with my pet. From reception to the exam, I found it a very pleasant experience. They also seem to support great causes. Would recommend!

We called to set an appointment this morning and were able to get in same day. This vet is taking all necessary precautions related to COVID-19. I was able to call upon arrival and bring my cat to the door for her appointment. The doctor called me with findings and spent 20 minutes with me reviewing after care. I am very pleased with Dr. Catalan's extensive knowledge, experience, homeopathic treatment options, bedside manner and kind nature of working with pet parents. She truly cares about all of the animals under her care and it shows! I highly recommend their services. We historically have seen Dr. Cat at House Vets for House Pets in Anderson as well. They have two convenient locations.

Everyone is very nice and accommodating! Even after getting neutered, my pup came out of the vet with his tail wagging as if he were at the dog park all day, so I can only imagine how great they are treating him while he's there.

We took our puppy there for her 12 week old shots. What should have been a $30 visit + the cost of shots turned into a $200 visit and bad information on the shots. We were charged for an ear cleaning, stool sample, ear drops and other examinations without being asked first. After taking her to a nonprofit veterinarian, we learned that Rover the Rhine told us to wait too long for the next round of shots so we had to restart the cycle. They also gave us the medicine for her stomach (which cost $20) and told us that it wouldn't hurt her if she didn't actually have a worm (which was what the $40+ stool sample was for). The ear drops were also $20 over priced. We left Rover the Rhine feeling ripped off and lied too. Overall would not recommend.

Was informed last night by an oncologist that my cat is in kidney failure & in need of subcutaneous fluid & potassium. She suggested I take him to his regular vet for this, but they're closed today due to a family emergency. I stopped by Rover The Rhine this morning to see if they could be of any help & the dolt receptionist said there's "nothing" they could do. I understand not having his files & all, but she offered zero assistance in terms of suggestions, offering to examine him themselves, etc. Seemed like a great opportunity to win over a new client with multiple pets who recently relocated here & previously had no idea their office existed. Anyway, very robotic interaction & not at all reassuring. Go elsewhere.

The staff is so friendly! They neutered my dog and everything was very fast and smooth. I dropped Bruce off at 830am and had him back the same day by 2pm.

BEWARE!!! I called after my dog was at 'doggy day care' for a trial run, I told the girl that my dog seems to be developing a cough and that I was concerned. She said it was probably due to too much barking. As the night went on, the cough got worse, so I went to an after hours vet. They found a puncture in my dogs throat. Do not go here!!!!!! Negligence and passive treatment on my dog cost me.
