I was unable to get an appointment for our sick cat with our family vet nor could we get her into an ER timely. Despite not having seen our cat before, VCA Companion not only got us in fast, but they were incredibly compassionate and caring. They retrieved vet records for us in a stressful time and the cost was very reasonable. Thank you to Dr Seibert and the rest of the staff for caring for our sweet Penny.

VCA Carmel is amazing. The staff is friendly and my dog loves them. We are very happy and will continue using this location. We live about 30 miles away and it's worth the drive for us. Thank you VCA for taking good care of our dog.

This veterinarian was fine until our dog developed severe anxiety. We have spent thousands of dollars more this year alone than we typically would at our prior vet, only for us to be dismissed and told to seek an outside specialist -- which I would presume they get a kickback from -- for something that they could 100% treat as his vet if they had the will to do so. If you would like to see your concerns taken seriously, find another vet. Even other VCA's offer a more personal and professional experience than those working here, who seem to only care about what brings in more money and what is most convenient for them. I have no problem spending the money on my animal. I would go into debt for him if I had to, but I expect my concerns to be acknowledged and treated and I shouldn't have to go outside of the network for something that any other office can treat.

Dr. Wood and all the staff are incredibly kind and compassionate. Last Friday was one of the most difficult days of my life, but everyone there (and I apologize for not knowing all your names) did a fantastic job of helping my dog and I. I am forever thankful for your kindness and grace in a painful situation.

Our dog loves Companion Animal Medical Center for her wellness care and monthly grooming appointments. And the staff are always happy to see her at every visit.

Really impressed with our first visit with a new kitten. Social distancing procedure has you communicate via phone and bring your pet to the door. I imagine this is calmer for your pet than waiting in a rowdy waiting room full of other animals. I got a call detailing options for our visit once he was seen and a second call after testing was done. Everything was explained clearly and Doctor Johnson took the time to explain concepts on the phone. The kitten was brought right back to the door. This has been my most stress-free visit to a veterinary clinic in years.

Felt very comfortable when bringing my dog in. When he passed away they sent a very thoughtful card. Thank you again for your services!

Wish they were still an emergency hospital, with 24hr care, but they are still our most trusted. Dr Morrison is a caring, experienced vet.

Dr. Beth Morrison and staff were wonderful when caring for our chocolate Lab, Dakota. He needed a tooth extraction and he is a very anxious dog and they went to great lengths to make Dakota feel at home during his stay there. Dr. Morrison …

we’ve been coming here for over 3 years, since we welcomed Duke the Bullmastiff into our family. We have seen 3 doctors here, but Dr. Johnson is our go-to, and we are so grateful that we met her and have her working on Duke’s medical issues. He was born with a form of congenital kidney disease, and she followed up on a slightly elevated test result to ensure he got the best care possible. Dr. Johnson is a saint. She always calls me to discuss anything we go in for and handles all of my questions professionally and honestly. Having a chronically ill dog is something new to me, so I always have questions about what to expect next. She is one of the best, and I think Duke’s kidney disease NOT progressing in 3 years can attest to that! We’ve seen her for a few other issues he has had, and she still is amazing! The facility is extremely clean and the rest of the staff is kind and professional as well. They are all welcoming and always make a fuss over Duke! They also pay close attention to his special needs/quirks and do a great job of being courteous of them. We’ll continue to go here as long as Dr. Johnson practices here.

Loved the animals, to bad the workers dont care about the customers. Especially the chicks at the counter. They showed no interest in there job or the people who were trying to adopt. No wonder this place has bad reviews. Do not recommend...

Everyone on the staff is excellent and always takes great care of my dogs. They are so gentle and kind with my shy girl, and just as friendly with my more outgoing dog. They are also very informative and helpful for the humans as well! I would highly recommend them.

We are so impressed with the quality of care we received from VCA on Rangeline Rd. in Carmel. Dr. Ink was super helpful and personable! She took the time to talk to us on the phone after we had already left and answer our questions rather than pawning it off on an assistant (like our regular vet will do, which is fine, but I like this better.) Also the petite blonde (Laura?) was so awesome with our dog! (The price was also better than expected, we were aware and prepared for the emergency hour charges.)

Unfortunately this was a bad ending to a good vet. They cost 3X ($360) more than the vet I used last year, which was East Side Animal Hospital. I tried out VCA due to proximity to my home but come to find out while the Dr and Asst were very good with my dogs, they were insanely priced compared to others in the area. The only answer I kept getting is that it is Carmel and they are a 24 hour animal hospital. So if I am hearing correctly I am paying more because you are helping other peoples pets late at night. They were very good with my dogs but I can't justify 3X the price because East Side Animal Hospital was also very good with my dogs.
