This place is great. The staff are amazing. We are new to this practice as on 2022 and have already been twice. We have met with 2 of the Vet's and they have both been outstanding. We are thrilled to have our dogs taken care of by this team. I highly recommend Hazel Dell Animal hospital

Every visit with Dr. Mc Daniel and his staff is thorough and professional. We always receive important health information and compassionate care, recommendations after the techs and Dr. Mc Daniel examines our dog. We are very glad we are now bringing our dog here! Words can't express how caring the staff are. They consistently go above and beyond to meet the needs of both the pets and pet owners thru education, service, and acts of caring. This has been our home for veterinary care for years and we are happy to recommend this business to others looking for affordable and quality care.

We grew unhappy with our prior veterinarian and wanted a convenient change. My wife brought our large dog in for scheduled initial examination and treatment of a couple known issues with Dr Morgan Mathai. I did have some concerns regarding the indications for some treatments prescribed. The staff were patient in understanding my concerns and appropriately addressed those items. I have no doubt they have the best intentions for my pet and the treatment prescribed was appropriate and complete. Pleased with our first experience, attentive staff, and the care provided to our pup!

The staff were very friendly and took good care of my dog. Very good experience there. I would not recommend buying meds from HDAH, there is a massive upcharge, in some cases over 100% compared to Walmart and other places that sell pet meds. Soured what was an otherwise positive experience.

The staff and veterinarians are so kind, knowledgeable and thorough. Our golden retriever has been a patient since he was a pup and is loved by all the staff.

Unfortunately we were devastated when we made the decision to put our 18 yr old Lily to sleep. Dr, Morgan was so professional, sweet and comforting. All the staff were so kind. We are bringing our newest Furbaby Cassie to Dr. Morgan and moving our 16 yr old Rascal here too

I recently got my first puppy and they’re extremely helpful! Since this is my first puppy, they’ll patiently listen to any concerns I have! Also, they’re very kind! I’ve been here about four to five times now and each time they’ve been so kind and always have a positive attitude!

My cockatoo is 10 yrs old and was experiencing some pain in her rear legs when trying to jump up. She was started on a new medication the day we were seen. It is only 48 hours after starting the new med and she is feeling better today!

I recently had a big scare with my chihuahua Ruth ann, I picked her up and drove to Hazel Dell as fast as I could on a very busy day when dr. McDaniel was scheduled for surgeries. He made time anyway and checked her out for me and reassured me right away that he didn't think anything really serious was going on. They kept her there for the day to keep an eye on her and I had some blood work done and a urinalysis done. He did determined it was probably a back issue that she was having. I'm so grateful for dr. McDaniel since he is always so pleasant and very thorough with his job. He always gives really excellent advice as well and explains things thoroughly. I couldn't be happier with Hazel Dell Animal Hospital! All of the staff members there are wonderful.

I have been a pet parent for over 45 years, and my dogs have been cared for by Hazel Dell Animal Hospital for nearly 20 years. The level of care, compassion, and expertise by the ENTIRE staff is THE BEST I have ever experienced. My dogs have always been treated as though belong to everyone there. There has never been a time when I felt the level of care could be improved. Over the years, I have had dogs with challenging diagnoses, and I have always felt they have the dedication to do research needed to get to the bottom of the issues. I feel extremely grateful to have all of them as my dog care team.

We have a new puppy and have not been puppy parents for a long while. The entire staff has been wonderful and Dr. Morgan has been so caring and thorough with us and our little Ryder. This is just a top notch practice.

Our dog is so sweet but very skidish with being handled by strangers. They have worked with her over the years and they are actually in her little “click” of those she trusts now. So amazing! I am new to the area and was scared for my cat to go to the vet because of covid restrictions I was unable to go inside with her … after looking at highly rated cat vets in the area and comparing prices I decided Hazel Dell was the place for me! So HAPPY! The vet answered every question I could possibly have and offered such great advice about everything! Thank you! Evangeline is a happy girl at this office!

I have been taking my 2 dogs to Hazel Dell Animal Hospital for about 11 years and they are always very professional and kind. I especially like Dr. McDaniel he is the vet I always ask for and always takes time with you and your pet. The staff is wonderful and look forward to being able to go back inside after the pandemic. I had been wrestling with the idea of switching veterinarians since something happened recently to Annie at our last vet when they had her in the back. I'm not sure what, but I heard an awful yelp that was not anything I had heard from her before. I asked when they brought Annie back in the room if that was her, but the tech said no. The next time I went to bring her she was even more anxious than normal during the car ride there. Once we arrived, I could hardly get her in the door. When they went to take her back she wouldn't go, so they had me walk with her and she kept looking up at me like, "mom you aren't going to make me go back there" and I felt so bad when we got to the door and I couldn't go back further with her. When they came back out, they were not even able to trim her nails, because she was so anxious they only did one paw. I debated whether I was overreacting to find another vet, but my gut kept telling me to. I just felt it was going to be too traumatic for her every time she needed a trim or an annual exam to go in there and it was also a 1/2 hour drive. I was also unsettled at the fact that the tech had apparently misled me. January 18th Annie had her first visit with Dr. McDaniel at Hazel Dell Animal Hospital. I was 100% thrilled. From the minute we walked in the door, everything was done to help Annie feel less anxious. Dr. McDaniel spent a great deal of time getting to know Annie, sitting on the floor with her, answering questions, and explaining her anxiety, as well as her older injuries that she had sustained before I adopted her. I was blown away. In all my years of taking family dogs to vets and now my dogs, I have never had such a fantastic experience. We have found our forever vet home!

Every time we have visited Hazel Dell Animal Hospital, I have been pleased at the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff. They genuinely care about my dog, remembering details about her that I would not expect them to remember from one visit to the next.

HDAH is the best around! I don't even live in Carmel anymore but I made the drive to bring my fur baby there. They were so caring and fantastic during the care for and loss of my other little guy. My remaining cat will continue going here until his time ends. The vets here are amazing and I cannot say that enough times. Simply the best!
