Our pets have been going here for 10 years. Very good service.

We have been taking our two dogs to this location for about 3 years with mixed results. The doctor has been helpful and competent but the other staff have been hit or miss. We have had many issues with canceling appts.and long wait times for scheduled appointments. The most recent issue was arriving for our appointment and told they closed. We did not get a notification of any kind and our half an hour drive resulted in us having to now reschedule and wait another few weeks to get treatment for our dogs. I would rate them as unprofessional, bottom line...

We've been using banfield for a number of years. When our dog has gotten sick we've been able to take him in within 72 hours or if more urgent a drop off and they would see him when they could. We've had their wellness plan the whole time to ensure our dog stays up to date on his shots and for the times when he may get sick and we need to bring him in. However, I wouldn't give a poor review if this was still the case. They've taken away the drop off option and all appointments you need to sit there for, even if its for an hour or two. They no longer use the private waiting rooms. The final straw is now if your dog is sick you have to wait for the next appointment regardless of urgency, so it may be a week or longer before they can see him because they are no longer in the business of caring for your pets but sticking to a regimented schedule.

We love Banfield! We used to go to the Noblesville location, but they no longer had same week sick appointments. When our pug, Mia, has UTIs, she really shouldn't wait too long before getting antibiotics. The Carmel staff is always helpful and even offers drop off appointments if needed. We will continue to recommend the staff there!

I've never had an issue. My pup has had most of her check ups and procedures through Banfield for the past few years. I've had worse experiences at local vets. One of the Banfield advantages is that they are all over the nation.

My dog had an ear infection and his regular vet was booked. Banfield was able to accommodate us quickly and also took very good care of Scooby.

Please stay away and take your beloved pet elsewhere, the negligence shown by a veterinarian at this practice in failure to follow standard of care, as well as lack of even an apology both from the veterinarian and the practice/corporate is astounding. My pet almost died and needed emergency surgery as a result of a vet here not following proper protocol in diagnostics based on the pet’s history and our advocacy. My pet is still not out of the woods and it is unclear whether he will survive. We were basically told that our cat is dying without doing their due diligence to see why. Turns out if they had done their job correctly, they would have seen that his acute on chronic case was treatable if done in a timely manner. Our beloved pet suffered for days as a result of the vet’s negligence. I’m honestly not sure if the vet knows what standard of care even is. If it was not for speaking with friends who are veterinarians and me taking the initiative to ask for extra diagnostics on a subsequent visit, we would have lost our pet. The vet had the gall to say that basically they were doing us a favor for seeing our cat when they were already busy. Not even an acknowledgment of error from the vet or the practice. Please take your pet to people who actually care and are competent, learn from my mistake in trusting this practice and vet with your beloved pet. They’re clearly “too busy” because I guess Banfield really just cares about your money and seeing as many pets as possible with low quality care, not because they care about giving your pet the best possible care. For reference, my pet was on the best pet plan and I never said cost was an issue for his diagnostics needed. I have also consulted with a number of other veterinarians and the consensus is that this veterinarian did not do their job correctly, and my pet suffered unnecessarily as a result and now has lasting physical damage, which he may not survive. TL/DR: for your beloved pet’s sake, don’t go here

We subscribe to the Banfield service, and frankly it's the best vet we have ever used. Obviously being connected to a national pet store helps with always having somewhere to take the dog. What makes them stand out, though, is how the staff always really cares about your animal.

So I got me a dog and I need a place to get her shots updated and I still don't know where cheap dog hospital are at. Well I took my dog here to get her checked out and they have been so comforting. Know that there are great people just like me who take extra care and do their jobs. My girl has been sick and Banfield Hospital has been AWESOME. I'M glad that they are close to me and I don't have to drive all around the city looking for a pet health place.

Staff is great and can be trusted with your pet, no matter age, species, temperament, or reason for your visit. Dr. Radney is the best. Cares deeply for your animals and wants the best.

Dr. Duck Hat is one of the best Vet's in the country IMO. His professionalism and standard of care exceeds all expectations. He also has a very strong jaw line. This makes him wonderful to look at while he is caring for my weiners. The only downside to his care is it's hard to understand what he is saying. Not because he doesn't speak clearly, but because when I lock eyes with him I lose the function of all my other senses. Dr. Duck Hat, I am preparing a fish dinner this coming Wednesday evening. If you are available, I would love it if you joined me. Thanks to everyone at Banfield for a terrific experience!

Let’s go ahead and skip past the not doing a cancer test first on a golden retriever poodle mix with multiple tumors and I end up knowing my dog has cancer only 5 days before he dies (he had it 2 years). But that’s not what I’m here to talk about today. How does my tough little trooper chihuahua come back from the vet shaking? How does my lab mix who’s only chewed their tail if I’m gone a few days too long, chews through her tail in only being there 6 hours? (We could also talk about what I heard how the vet back there treats her vet techs but ????????‍♂️)

Quick service, they came out and got my dog from my car. Didn't have to go in or be around people. Once he was done they came out and gave me an update then brought my dog back out and drove off. Very easy

I have been to several vets over the course of my life and each one I have had negative experiences. In the Carmel/Westfield/Noblesville area, no one stacks up to this unassuming veterinarian office. I think people might be passing them up because this location is in a PetSmart. Do NOT let this bother you. I have taken my cats there for a good year now and will keep doing so. I feel the doctors are all knowledgeable and they are quick to see my cats. Love them! I will be going for as long as I have pets for sure. I also want to mention that the plans are the best bet for pet parents. I pay nothing when I go to the vet anymore and as long as I go monthly or bimonthly for basic check ups I save a lot of money. I have heard issues with cancelling and that it is nearly impossible to do so, I cannot speak on that yet as I'm confident with this team and neither pet has passed.

My brother’s cat came in for a normal fix and she ended up coming out with life threatening issues and they’ve only made it worse since it started. They told us not to worry and wait it out and if we had she would’ve died sooner. She’s still fighting for her life and she was perfectly healthy before. Banfield caused her potential death and have that blood on her hands.

My mother and I went made a trip to this vet earlier today with our cat Nikkai and I couldn't be more pleased with the staff. Our CSC Kayla and our Vet Tech Becky were amazing! Becky was very fast and Kayla was so knowledgeable about our situation. They both were such compassionate real people. You can tell they care very much about the clients and their animals.

First I had to wait an extra 30 mins (even though I had a scheduled appointment). The vet didn’t even check her heart beat or take her temperature. They sent me home will pills that didn’t even help her allergies!

If there was an option for NO stars, I would give it. This particular Banfield is the WORST vet clinic I've ever encountered. The staff does not have your pet's best interest at heart. Dr. Jacobson has no heart for her fur clients and no compassion. The techs have no idea what is going on. It is very dirty and unorganized. I regret ever taking my pup to this clinic and placing him in their care.

My wife and I have traveled across the country in the past couple years, we've been to numerous different Banfield's and we have always been pleased. Until, encountering this specific Banfield in Carmel, In. The staff is very unprofessional, and the place is NOT clean. They don't clean the tables that the animals sit on in between visits. The last time we went, the vet tech was so high that she could barely talk or open her eyes. My biggest problem is that they wanted to take my dogs in the back to give them their shots, etc. but I like to see them give them their shots in front of me. They acted like that was a problem and that they couldn't do that. What?!?!? No other Banfield has ever had a problem with that. If I'm paying good money to make sure that my animals are healthy are being taken care of, I want to make sure everything is done and I don't have to worry about it. They also refused to give my dog his Trifexis....EVEN THOUGH, we have my dog on a dog wellness plan, and the Trifexis COMES WITH the plan. IT'S ALREADY PAID FOR! I intend to take action on doing something about the way my dog has been treated. I wrote this review to let everyone know that I love Banfield, just not the Banfield in Carmel. You would think that it being in Carmel it would be nicer, but no...its the trashiest one!

Dr. Corbin and the staff at Banfield are the best. Unfortunately we had to have our beloved Baxter put to sleep today. The staff were so loving and sensitive during our last moments with him. They explained everything that was going to happen and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. Thank you for everything!

Do NOT trust Banfield. My six year old dog is blind because of Banfield. They take your pet into the back, but don't give them a full check up. My dog had a tooth infection that slowly diminished his eyesight, but in the three times that I took him to Banfield over the course of a month, they never noticed until it was too late. They told me he needs his teeth pulled and kept detailing their different wellness plans, but never actually made plans to alleviate the problem. They just took a quick look at him, and scheduled him for the surgery a month later without refilling his drug prescription. Less than a week later, he went completely blind and they just told us to go to a different hospital. They don't know what they're doing. They just want your money, they don't want to help.

Dr. Mercer is amazing and really cares about the animals in her care. When my cat almost died from anaphylactic shock she saved her life. When we transported my poor baby to the 24 hour pet hospital for observation after she stabilized, she rode in the backseat making sure she was okay. I would trust my babies lives in her hands any day.

I've had 2 dogs and dealt with Banfield in MD and Carmel, IN. Dr. Mercer was amazing to my dogs and I felt they were in great hands with her. The staff is friendly. At this location tho, I have noticed I have had items from my wellness plan listed as done that were never done (urinalysis) so if Iit is needed, then I pay. I also feel they push their pharmaceutical products too much instead of being honest that the meds are cheaper online or elsewhere. The other Banfield did it. I don't even know if Dr. Mercer is still there, but will never take my dog to see any other vet there.
