I took my Fur Baby to this Vet today, due to a horrible cough that she has had for over a Week now, and said cough not being "Fur Ball" related. The Staff was friendly and helpful but I do, however, have a complaint about the price I paid. By the time everything was done, it cost me a little over 500.00 for this Vet Visit. I received no notice of how much this visit would cost and not everyone has an extra 500.00 sitting in their Bank Account. What would they have done if I wouldn't have had that much money in my Account? And they don't have a Payment Plan so I could not make Payments Arrangements. I will not be returning to this Vet, for the simple fact that I was charged too much and the XRays I paid for were barely readable, and that was the Vet's own admission. So for 500.00 my Fur Baby received 2 shots, Blood Work, A Flea Treatment and XRays that could barely be read.

This place is on par with Wal Mart. Really disappointing, they used to be a lot better prior to the pandemic. Don’t waste your time here.

Been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Got fired today by DR Dale's wife Lori. I questioned charging a deposit for making an appointment, never paid that before. She said on my pets record, HE WAS RUDE MULTIPLE TIMES ON THE PHONE AND REFUSES TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT. HE IS FIRED!! If I was rude to her is because she was very rude to me. I just do not think it is right to charge a deposit for a 3 month future appointment . DR. Dale is a very good veterinarian and i will miss him, his wife needs people skills.

I am one of those, who, if they could give 0 stars, I would. I had only been to this vet once before as we just recently moved back here. I wasn't happy then because the meds I purchased for my cat was a bad batch. It made her sick, so I had to stop it.Recently I called for a quick visit because my cat was being extremely lethargic over Thanksgiving. I agree, they were quick to give me an appt. When I took her in she was so weak, the vet drew blood expecting her kidneys to be doing poorly, but said that was not the case. She was extremely anemic, blood was leaking somewhere. She suspected in her GI tract. She gave me medicine to coat her GI tract and iron meds and said if she doesn't get better, the other doctor could do an ultrasound later, she didn't know how. I don't see how they can call themselves a hospital because by their admission they did not have the equipment, nor the staff to treat her otherwise, as I learned later. My cat died a couple of hours later. Not only did she die, but she died an excruciatingly painful death. She thrashed around, crying an awful sound, and gasped for breath. I have had cats all my life, and never, have I experienced one in such agony. I will never take my cats there again. I will drive to Indy first. If the vet suspected she was bad off, why didn't she suggest euthanasia, so at least she would die peacefully. Additionally, why wasn't she kept, given fluid and pain medication until the other vet could do an ultrasound? When questioned, was told they have no one there over the weekend, however, they advertise they board. It is a shame there is no EMERGENCY facility here in Bloomington. I was frantically looking for one as my cat suffered a tragically painful death., and I was helpless to help her.

I absolutely love Dr Dale. He is such a caring vet, and understands pet parents and their pets and is such a nice person with an extremely big heart. He takes such good care of my babies, and I have no doubt he does the same with everyone that comes through the door.

You're absolutely amazing caught a lot of places their prices are outrageous they seem to just want to rush you and it be about the money these people are amazing they take their time they do an excellent job and everything they say to do if you follow directions your pet will be back tomorrow the great people and I actually care about your pets they're very reasonable when it comes to pricing unlike other places

Some time ago they came through as heroes when we had a cat with a blood clot. We weren't a client, but they helped when our regular vet didn't. Cut to recently. They started charging half of the appointment cost up front because some people canceled on short notice. In other words, they punished the good and long standing clientele because of some problems. They do offer a number of services including surgery. If they change their policies I may return sometime. For now I've found a vet that I'm much happier with. The wait time is longer, but they are honest and fair.

I called 12 vets in my area and Arlington Heights was the only vet that could see my pet in a reasonable time frame. The person I spoke on the phone with was amazing, very respectful and polite. The building itself is very clean and very peaceful, a pet owners dream. The staff here are fantastic and very knowledgeable, they handled my pet with care and pinpointed the problem. The prices are so reasonable as well, the bill was a very nice surprise!! I would recommend this vet to any pet owner!

I am at college with my cat when she suddenly needed to see a vet! Panicking I called every place I could to see if they could help her and no one could take an appointment less than 7 weeks out. I thought I was going to have to drive to indy vet the week of my midterms. Thankfully I called Arlington Vet and they could fit her in the next morning! The kind woman on the phone helped me schedule it and then the next day when I came in the paperwork was brief and Dr. Dan was extraordinarily patient with my questions and concerns and assured me she would be taken care of. They answered all my questions and happily forwarded her bloodwork to her regular vet. Above all they were kind, patient, informative and EXTRAORDINARILY accommodating. If you're a student like me with your pet in town and have a sudden issue, go to a vet 10 minutes from college mall.

This is the worst vet I’ve ever been to. I would give them 0/5 stars if possible. They do not answer the phone nor do they call back. They are impersonal and don’t seem to care about actually helping the animals, their own patients. They refuse to verbally confirm prescriptions through Chewy, but do not tell you this when you visit. My dog is going to not get his medication this month because of this. Please choose any other vet in town!

FYI if you ever have an emergency! It's 300.00 fee due now. My cat was attacked by neighbors dog. Gave every dollar I had $250 and a bill over 1200.00 that they said they'd work with me! call me that evening and gave her back to me. She laid suffering and died two days later. Thanks for caring!

Someone tried using my information for their pet and Arlington has that in my records. It's good to know that take excellent care of your pet but also will keep your records safe as well

I am very disappointed in the lack of care my pet received at this practice. He has a chronic condition and it has seemed that the vets at this facility were either too overwhelmed and inexperienced or they just didn’t care. I took him to the emergency vet in Indy one night and the ER vet was very helpful. They told me to follow up with our regular vet. It took 8 days to get through to speak with anyone at the vet and that was only because I went to the clinic in person and insisted on speaking with someone. A few months later the issue presented again and I attempted to call the clinic. It took 4 days to connect with someone. The person I spoke with told me they don’t check voicemails, they just call back missed numbers. This most recent time that the issue presented has ended up being the worst of all. Initially Dr. Dale only gave my pet a round of steroids and three days worth of gabapentin for the pain. I tried to call back after no improvement in those three days and ended up going to the clinic for some answers on how to help my dog who was in extreme pain. They gave me three more days of gabapentin. After a week and no improvement, I went to the clinic after not being able to connect via phone or email and all but begged for something else to help my dog. I let them know that I had sought out a neurologist (no referral was ever given) and that I needed their help keeping my pet comfortable until that appointment. The office manager finally came out to talk to me, lied to me about the vet being in surgery (slipped up on her words later in the conversation), and asked what I wanted for my dog. I told her I wanted to add a muscle relaxer to try and alleviate his pain. They did provide exactly enough to get my dog through yesterday. His neurology appointment was today. I do not recommend this clinic because they do not put the well-being of the pets in their care as a priority. They are quick to nickel and dime you instead of finding ways to help you help your pet efficiently, effectively, and economically. There are many other better options available and I would strongly recommend choosing one of those over this clinic.

Vets are nice. The receptionist is not very friendly and the cost of doing business is extremely expensive! I come from AZ where veterinary visits are costly... and I found this veterinary to be even more expensive than AZ. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years although they are one the most expensive vets in town and even when they gave me the wrong medication for my dog. The up front staff is very rude especially the older woman. They are now charging a deposit for making an appointment. I explained that I did not have the money up front for a deposit and the receptionist was very unsympathetic. I then informed them that I would have to switch vets and was told to go ahead. One month later I received a letter in the mail stating that since I was no longer a "happy" customer I was could no longer be considered a customer of theirs and that I needed to switch vets....

I'm not sure I've ever left a review before. But it is late night, 2 days after our newly adopted dog's visit to Arlington. And I can't sleep because my dog keeps waking up choking and snorting. My dog can't breathe when he sleeps! (Lab mix) And the vet I saw 2 days ago just laughed at us when we suggested our new dog has sleep apnea. "They don't make CPAP machines for dogs," she laughed. I stood there staring at her, waiting for her to say something else, SOMETHING HELPFUL and she didn't. I asked if it could be part of the infection he has from his neuter he got at the shelter. She said no and kept staring at me. This has happened before with my other dog where I just don't get help unless I schedule specifically with Dr. Dale. My first dog wouldnt eat. Was slightly under weight. No help. Until we saw dr. Dale. And now she loves her food since we found out she had an allergy! I spent that much money for this woman to give us a snitty remark about him having an infection she was suggesting was our fault. WE JUST ADOPTED HIM! I love my dogs like my children and this level of veterinary care is unexceptional. Now I get to schedule another appointment where they require a deposit like I won't show up or something! Just to see dr.dale and get real help. I would've scheduled him in the first place but I needed the earliest appointment because we knew he had an infection the foster parent hadn't taken care of! And that is if I can even get them to answer the phone. Took a day and a half AND a ignored voicemail to get the first appointment! My family and I started taking our dogs to Arlington 3 years ago. Dr.Dale has been amazing. He listens. He cares. Hes good with people and pets. He actually takes the time to explain things. Hes proactive and finds solutions. But I am always disappointed by the level of care and rudeness of the other staff. I hate calling them too. So rude over the phone. Again if I can even get them to answer the phone. If your just looking for vaccines and such they work well enough. But other than dr.dale I wouldn't be taking my pets here. And may have to find a new vet. It is too expensive to have their people waste our time like this. Not that my dogs aren't worthe the money but that that level of care is not worthe what they ask for. (Btw I got more help for free from googling dog sleep apnea after leaving then from this woman. ???????????? I didn't know it was a thing and felt silly asking but she's a vet and should have known or at least taken my concern seriously. ) it's a thing and now idk if my dog has it or if he has something caught in his throat cause hes a big puppy that could have eaten something weird.

While I love Dr. Dale and have been with them for over 12 years (even through a wrong medication debacle) I can no longer support going here. Not only are they one of the most expensive vets in town but now they are charging a 50 deposit when making appointments!! This is supposedly due to people calling in and cancelling their appointments - well charge them the 50 and not loyal customers!! They no longer offer emergency services as well. This just proves that they are in it for the money!

The people who work here are completely indifferent to the medical care being provided. I have received better care when getting an oil changed. I scheduled an appointment here for both dogs and asked to email the past medical records in. I emailed the medical records and asked some follow up questions in the emails. The email was ignored. I resent the email after three days reminding them they had not responded. They again did not respond. I waited another 3 days, resent the email, and again received no response. ll three emails said "Please reply to confirm receipt." I called to ask if they were getting the emails. The receptionist checked the computer and confirmed that they had been received. I asked why no one had replied to the questions and she said she did not know. I asked if anyone had actually read the emails, and she said she did not know. I already had an appointment scheduled, so I reluctantly kept it. When I arrived, they told me they had not received the medical records that I had emailed them three times and that they had conifrmed receipt of telephonically. They had incorrect procedures written down for the dogs and explained that they had merely made a mistake because there were two dogs with the same first name. They had a good huckle about the mix up in medical procedures and laughed it off. I voiced my complaint and explained that I did not feel comfortable moving forward. The receptionist replied "I just work here." I would honestly be scared to let these people provide medical services to my dogs.

My dog, Irish, was really itching with the pollen in the air lately. Arlington was able to get her in on relatively short notice. Everyone was friendly and the prescription was just what the dog needed. I highly recommend if you're searching for a new vet like I was.
