Dr. Bell is amazing the whole facility was very impressive

Dr. Jason Long and Dr. Stephanie Oedewaldt are exceptional doctors. These doctors have taken care of my furry babies for more that 10 years. I have an issue with the hours. Because of the change in hours, the wait time can be 2 or more hours for walk-ins. Also, the place is packed with people and their pets. I never saw these issues before the change. I will give them is, that perhaps there are people like me that asked for a specific doctor. I would not be surprised if change in hours affects their business.

I am so disappointed and upset about Yorkville Animal Hospital. I have been coming here since the day they opened their doors. I can't count how many animals I have brought to this facility and how faithful I have been to this clinic. I cannot stand the way they do business any more. We will start with their outrageous prices!! There's no personal touch any more. They used to take such good care of my pets, now I feel like it's just a business to them. The walk in policy has been very nice and convenient for sure. But now there are limits to their walk in times apparently and if you don't come in during that window, they upcharge you to an emergency visit. I drove 45 mins to be seen and was turned away unless I wanted to pay $130 "ER" visit because I was 30 mins past the cut off for walk ins. WHAT?!!? And their website says nothing about a cut of time, it just tells you how late they are open for walk ins. I was there well within that walk in time. So now I have to take my animal elsewhere so I can see a vet at a reasonable price. I think they are going to lose a lot of clients with these new policies. Lost me. Sad.

Over priced but you get great care. Would recommend

Everyone at this facility has been so nice & friendly. I appreciate this so much, as our last veterinary was not. They make you feel like you are a valued, and show love for your pet.

I would like to review this business but after driving 45 minutes out there we were turned away. Says walk-ins until 2. We arrived a little after 1. Tried to call before to see if we would be too late but no answer. Very distressing. A simple message to say we're not taking any more patients today on a voicemail if the phone is not being answered would have helped. Wasted a lot of time driving around with my sick pet. Very upsetting.

Very convenient & flexible hours & services, super friendly staff!

Pretty disappointed. they claim to be a hospital with emergency care but your emergency needs to happen during their walk-in hours. Our son was walking our 13 year old dog and it was attacked and bitten by a neighbor's dog in the head at about 3:30 in the afternoon. When we asked to bring him in for emergency care we were told no because we didn't have an appointment! Not very caring, are they...

Great and friendly staff. Never makes me feel like I am asking too much if I ask to make sure Gunnar is comfortable with his blankets. He is always well taken care of!

Fantastic place and excellent care for animals. Great experiences each time visiting. Love that vet services can be done at the same time as a grooming or daycare if needed.

I have taken my dogs here for approximately 2 years now. these people, are my heroes!! I been here several times due to my pitty being a nut case. they are so kind and I hear their conversations in the back and I have heard nothing but good words (when I expect them to talk smack) from them about all 3 dogs. Especially my husky, who never is quiet while here. I would never stop recommending them and coming here. Thank you Vet Techs and Vets!!! for deal with my crazy self and my crazy dogs

This place is very hit or miss. We've been here a handful of times with different animals in the last year. We've been seen by 4 different vets. The front office staff are excellent as always. Two of the vets we saw were amazing and spoke to us thoroughly throughout examination and were very nice to our pet. The other two vets would literally walk into the room type on the computer and ask us what's up with animal what they will prescribe for the animal and leave it in the crate and take it out back to examine and that would be the end of us seeing the vet as a tech would return the pet and meds. Literal 60 second vet visit. Did lead us to question if the vet even looked at the pet. Overall though if you get seen by the right vet, and you ask for that vet everytime this is an excellent vet to go to. Especially for walk in appointments. So we will definitely be using this vet as our main vet from now on, but will avoid the vets that gave us bad experiences.

Just started going here with my new pup. Very nice to have recieved a call a few days before his shots were due.

Nice clean environment. My first time there. Friendly people and animals.

Staff member indicated that I all but lied about picking up a prescription for my cats medicated food. Needed to go back with the cat and confronted the doctor that actually signed the script. She apologized that I " felt like I was treated poorly". I didn't FEEL like I was treated poorly I WAS TREATED POORLY!!! I'm a senior and do not appreciate being told that I did not pick up the prescription. I guess the prescription I had in hand was a figment of my imagination!!!!!! Horrible horrible place!!!! I now take my animals to a vet 35 miles away! It's worth the drive!

Dr. Bell is the best! ❤️????❤️ She knows the steps in how to properly diagnose and treat a sick dog.

Best pet care since the 1970's

I went to this vet and I had to put my dog down . The vet says this will make you feel better . I don’t think so . She was rude rude . Will never ever recommend this place !!

Terrible way of explaining things by one particular doctor and a stool sample was not initiated in the first 24 hours without being requested and dog went in for bloody stool. No call back on status report on condition of dog after iv fluids given and no genuine reason to keep her overnight.

I have had three large breed dogs in their care for over 10 years.. Dr Jaime sat with us as we put down each dog.the whole team is sweet

Took very good care of my Cat. Treated her very good.

Minimal wait time, friendly staff.
