The Highland North Central Veterinary Emergency Center is FANTASTIC. Dr. Allison Freedash was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. The entire team from the receptionist to the nurse handling curbside communication was very professional and helpful and kind, I cannot say enough about this place and am so grateful we have this in our area. My dog Rebel and I had a great experience here. We didn't have to wait long and the staff kept me informed of what was going on every step of the way. The lines of communication were the most important, they even called to let me know he had eaten after he had been refusing for 3 days. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. I spent my Christmas here because my baby was attacked by a German Shepard. They were very caring and professional. My baby is recovering and I'm so grateful to them for taking such good care of her. They're caring service is second to none.

The staff was kind, helpful, and non-judgmental, I was impressed and pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was, and i was very happy with the quality of care provided. I also appreciate the doctor's ability to explain the situation in clear terms, and I felt that he went above and beyond in his willingness to call my roommate (the cat's owner who was out of town at the time) and explain everything to him. Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone who needs an ER vet!

I can't be more than thankful enough for every individual that works here. I have taken all 4 of my dogs here, every time I had an emergency they were there for all my babies. They are also 24hr which is awesome! Thank you for everything that you do!

My dog had 11 pups total. #9 didn't make it. When it was almost 4 hours since #9 was born, I called the vet. #10 didn't make it but they were able to save #11 and most importantly, mom The staff here are some of the very best I've ever encountered. I got dropped off there and was stranded for a while with my dog and her new pup. The vet offered to have her husband take me home if I couldn't find a ride. (I live 40 mins away from the hospital). I did find a ride back. Uber was not an option with a dog that just gave birth. That's is above and beyond the call of duty.

This recent trip to NCVEC wasn't our first time here. Which should speek for it self right there. But every time we have had to bring one of out fur babies in. Its always a great experience, always leave there feeling great about coming here. Dog is alway is a better feeling too!! The commutation betweenbthe Dr and I is always great!!

Would give zero if could. I called the place earlier and told them my dogs symptoms or whatever which were bleeding when using bathroom, screaming, and loss of appetite. They said they’ll take him in but once we got there they said they wouldn’t take him in unless he’s dying. So I took him to another vet hospital emergency room place and turns out my dog has a terrible spine injury.

I don't remember if I ever thanked the staff with my girl Babe going over the rainbow. Everyone on the early morning of September 19, 2019 was fantastic with her and especially me. I just told a friend about you and she may call soon to help with her baby.

I brought in Boo, a feral cat who was suffering from severe respiratory issues. Dr. Allison Fedash, who treated him, was fantastic. She advised me of Boo's issues and recommended treatment, providing me with a written treatment plan and expected costs. When I called for updates, Dr. Fedash took my calls, providing details of Boo's progress and educating me about his conditions and needed care. When Boo was discharged, Dr. Fedash even provided me with written materials regarding one of his conditions. I would definitely recommend this Center to anyone who wants to make sure a furry friend gets the best emergency care possible.

I picked up my furbaby today this experience was so nerve wrecking for me. My fur baby had to be away from me for the first time for 3 days she was pretty sick. The staff and doctors are AMAZING!!! I can't believe that there are one stars here. I was a wreck crying and they were so kind they made me feel calm by answering all my questions I probably drove them crazy! But they were always kind and they answered every question and that made me feel better knowing that they were taking care of my furbaby. Yes it cost a shiny penny.....ok maybe a shiny quarter but worth it my furbaby is home!!! So, to all the staff and doctors at North Central Veterinary I thank you so much for making my furbaby better and so does Lola!!!!

My favorite thing about North Central Veterinary Emergency Center is that the staff is so nice! Everyone I have talked to there is so polite to people, and so kind to pets. It's obvious that they genuinely want to help animals. My cat recently had to stay with them for a week, and while I was worried about her, I never worried that she wasn't receiving the best care. I called each day for an update and spoke to several of the techs and all of the vets, and every one of them was so kind. I really appreciate that they take time to ask questions, explain diagnosis, explain what the next step should be, and answer questions. They were very upfront about the cost of everything, offered price estimates for every test, and asked permission before doing anything that would add to the total. They also automatically sent everything over to her regular care vet, I didn't have to worry about it at all.

Great experience. Wait time was reasonable for urgent care. Great communication of status of my pet and explanation of proposed care and tests needed.

Overall a great experience and I've already recommended to friends locally. Our visit was quick as it wasn't too in-depth, but Rocky was treated efficiently, effectively, and with love. He tends to get nervous at the vet but he was returned to me happy as ever. The kindness of the staff was exceptional, especially when I had what felt like silly questions.
