I didn't know Hartland was part of Harvard where are the main doctors are in Harvard Illinois and Hartland is really a good place to visit for your pets any surgery that needs to be done has to be done in Harvard otherwise I will recommend that place to anybody

Abosolutely LOVE Dr. Shannon and her staff, especially Amanda! They were so helpful, calm and professional when helping with my 6 month old puppy at a brillo pad and had to have emergency surgery. I was in a panic and they were so kind and supportive throughout the experience. Can’t say enough good things about them!!

Our dog, Bella, had been misdiagnosed 3 times by our original vet. 3 times and they kept telling us she just had “allergies”. After the 3rd time she was barely eating or walking so we took her to Hartland. They confirmed after taking some blood work that she either had a severe infection or leukemia as her white blood cell count was through the roof. They worked around the clock to save her and bring her WBC count back down. She unfortunately did not improve and we had to put her down but Dr. Shannon did her best and even after she passed sent us a card telling us how sorry they were she passed. This office is amazing. It’s been 3 years since we’ve had a dog and we recently just got a puppy, we will only use Hartland from now on.

Ive been coming to hartland for about a year now. Although my dog barks when he comes in the door, the staff seems very scared of him. Ill give them the benefit, im sure they have been bit a few times. I recently took my dog there for boarding, he did great but he now has two soars on the bottom side of his lips on each side. Im curious if this is from leaving a muzzle on. The girl didnt say anything and she didnt bring him out with a muzzle on so it could have been from something else. I really appreciated the girl staying 15 min after closing, due to a snow/ice storm I couldnt get there by closing. Im glad to have my baby boy back.

Best vet I have ever had. Has taken care of two dogs that I have had that are past and my two current dogs. We drive 40 minutes just to see her. Just awesome,

The best place to take your pets hands down! I had originally taken my cat Morty somewhere else because as he was eating his food he started making a noise like he was going to vomit and it persisted a while. After receiving an x-ray at this other vets office we were told that morty could have a blockage and would potentially need surgery and that he needed to have an ultrasound done (in which they had but they told us they did not know how to use it) We decided to go with Hartland because it was close to our house and they had very reasonable prices for ultrasound. Upon consultation with doctor we were very impressed with her knowledge and honesty! She told us that often times ultrasounds are also inconclusive and instead of spending money on all these diagnostic tests she could perform a barium study on morty which would be able to tell if he truly had a blockage. They did this study on morty and kept him over night and rechecked his x-rays and he passed the barium meaning no blockage! I am truly happy I found Hartland, they provided results with the least invasive measures and they have such a kind and knowledgeable staff that I felt comfortable leaving morty with them overnight. Needless to say this is where we will be bringing morty from now on!

Dr. Shannon and her entire team at Hartland Veterinary Clinic are always courteous and professional. Our questions & concerns are always addressed in a timely, proficient manner that we are comfortable with. Most importantly our two dogs are healthy & happy visiting their vet!

My 7 year old mini aussie Cinch has been coming here since we moved to the area in December. The vet and office staff are fantastic and the prices are very reasonable!

I can't thank Dr. Shawn enough. He took the time to talk to us and explain the rare condition of our kitty and then did the surgery for a great price. My German shepherd jumped my fence and hurt his leg. Dr. Shannon and the Hartland staff were amazing, and help my little brat. He is doing a lot better now.

My little 8 yr old Yorkie mix developed an eye infection that would not respond to home remedy, so I took him to the Hartland Vet Clinic where we met Dr. Shannon and her fine staff. And I'm so glad we did. The problem was more serious than I thought. Dr. Moore diagnosed the situation, provided the proper medication and treatment and Gizmo is back to normal again. And I'm happy that I found a good vet for Gizmo.
