They made sure I was comfortable and and cared for. They didn't require me to be in the system or anything. I had lost my cat that morning and they were kind enough to help me cremate him and were very respectful of him and myself.

Very happy we found Terry Animal Hospital and Dr. Blose for acupuncture and treatment of our 19 year old sweetheart of a cat. The acupuncture has relieved her arthritis for about a year so far. I highly recommend them.

Paid an expensive bill with no resolution for what was wrong with our poor dog and they chased an additional $60 which they did not quote us in advance. When I challenged the $60 charge based on the prior over $600 spent on a no results for our dog they said they would credit the account and yet the next time we went in they claimed the amount was still due and had to pay it along with the service of the very emotional visit dealing with the passing away of our cat this time. Won't be coming back.

The wonderful doctors and staff at Terry took care of our dog throughout his entire life - from puppyhood through end of life. They cared for him as if he were their own. When my dog was mauled by another dog, they took amazing care of him and their charge was extraordinarily reasonable. When our dog had illnesses and as he declined in his last year of life, the doctors would spend a long time following up with us on the phone to see how treatments were working. That meant so much to us. They gave us good advice on what treatments to move ahead with and which were options but probably not worth it. They spent so much extra time and put in so much thought and emotion in treating pets, I do not think they charge too much. I felt like the doctors were there with us every step of the way as we went through the last year of our dog's life. As a result, we are back at Terry with a new puppy. Terry doctors and staff are like family.

No respect for other people's time. Waited outside with a puppy with high anixety for over 15 minutes. Told them I had another appointment to get to and their response was, "well, we close at 1 pm." ??? What does that have to do with anything? Its 11:35 and YOU are making me wait outside way past my 11:20 appt, causing me to be late for my next appointment. Doctor called at 11:40 and explained they have only two doctors and they are also a hospital handling emergencies. I told her sorry, I can't wait and I'm going to go to another vet that will respect the appt times. Her response was, well good luck finding somewhere else. Not professional. There should be a system in place if they are understaffed. Perhaps hire more people - there are plenty of people out of work. Also, maybe have your admin reschedule the appt if you cant take the appt at the time it was scheduled. No longer paying others to waste my time. If you value yours, I would not recommend this hospital. Lack of respect for their client's patronage and other people's time is evident. As conveniently close as they are, their are other vets in the area that love animals as much.

I've been taking my pets here for a few years since marrying into a family that has been going here for decades. When my first dog's health declined, I honestly didn't know when it was "time." The docs didn't tell me what to do, exactly, but they coached me through it in such a frank but compassionate way. I think the staff cried as much as I did in the end -- they loved that dog too! Since then, Dr. Fink has made fast friends with the latest rescue dog in our fam, who happens to be VERY picky about his humans. She manages him like a champ and has done much to help us understand and empathize with our strange but hilarious Chihuahua.

Kudos to Terry Animal Hospital for seeing my dog Lucy for a fit in appointment. My usual vet hospital was closed today. I called several animal hospitals and no one would see a dog that was not their patient. From Brenda who took my call, Dr. Fink who took extraordinary time and care to diagnose and treat Lucy, and Lauren for her professionalism in all her help and care. A profound thank you for your professionalism and care on an urgent notice. They saved me $300 from what I would have been charged at an animal emergency care. Thank you!

They took great care of my puppy roxy and have a very friendly, helpful staff. I do find their pricing is on the higher end, but the care and communication are great!

Great care for my dog from accupuncture to dental work. I trust Dr. Blose and the other partners a lot. The support staff excellent--helpful and cheerful, it is always a treat to call or come in to the office.

I have been a Customer of Terry Animal Hospital with our different Dogs for the last 24 Years. This is a solid Outfit, the Docs are of high Quality and the Staff extremely helpful and very compassionate when ‘Things’ don’t go all that well ( such as taking down Your Dog!!). They impress me as being somewhat ‘pricy’, but the Service, Quickness of urgent Appointments and great Follow-Ups ( Phone Contacts, Emails, etc. ) compensated for this!! Highly recommended!!

I have bad experience on top of bad experience at Terry Animal Hospital. Caryl Buonopane is by far the worst vet I have ever met. My poor baby died because of her misdiagnosis. We tried to make appointment with her when our poor baby got pretty sick, yet she refused to meet or talk to us. She hided in the back because she knew she had done something terrible. All she cares about is money. Don’t know how she will feel if her families meet doctors like her in the future.

Had a very bad experience here at Terry Animal Hospital. Maybe they know something about dog and cat, but they definitely know nothing about guinea pig, however, their behavior we can not accept is that they pretend to know something and to do the testing, which misleads us to the wrong direction. If you didn't get a professional training, please just say you don't know how to do it. To be a doctor, no matter to treat human or animals, I think honesty should be put on the top priority.

Caryl is an outstanding veterinarian who takes great care of my dog. Her compassion and understanding make this place a gem.

Good place to bring your pet they're good people the owners are great

Dr. Julie Mattson does an amazing job with our dog Zhora! I wouldn't trust anyone else. She helps me with all of my crazy new puppy questions and always offers the best advice! The office staff is super sweet and gives me reminders when it's time for Zhora to go in for shots. Feel so lucky to have a Veterinarian I can trust with my fur baby!!

Terry Animal Hospital and its staff has been a source of comfort and care during the 7 1/2 years that we have been going there. We've seen many of the Vets and have found them each to be kind, thoughtful and competent. When we had to put our first pug down, they could not have been more understanding or more nurturing. With pug #2, they are showing the same loving care as we have come to expect from them. I would recommend Terry Animal Hospital in Wilmette to anyone.
