Lynette did a great job on our puppy and her knowledge and expertise is evident. You can tell she loves pets and treated ours like he was her own!

I was so excited to bring our new rescue back to Pampered Pup. We had our previous dog groomed by Lynette for 10+ years. Having lost the old gal 5 years ago.....we were welcomed with open arms when we brought in our new pup. Old friends yet always helpful, loving and professional. Lynette (the owner) is who I go to for dog obedience advice as well as overall dog health questions too. She is a one in a million and I am happy and very comfortable knowing my new 70 pound baby is in her hands!

While they do a sufficient job with grooming, they are unprofessional and rude. Half the time when you pick up your dog they are not in their business even though they recently called you to pick up your pet. My doodles are very well trained, no need for a leash while on a walk and are friendly with everyone. My older dog Tansy had never been skittish going to the groomer. Second time we went she was so nervous and kept trying to run out. For owning a business whose clients are dogs they do not seem to like pets. Always trust your dogs natural instincts.

I've been taking my dog(s) to The Pampered Pup for 20+ years and the new puppy loves the new place! The shop is adorable and I love being able to talk to the owner about any concerns I have, they are great. So quiet, stressfree I know shes In great hands.

Friend had a bad experience at this place, I am mortified by how rude the owner was to my friend. Not to meantion the stories in these reviews make me sick to my stomach.

Very unprofessional and disrespectful staff

Owner Lynnett mistreated my dog. Blamed her for being nervious, while claming she was the nicest she could have been. Barraded me and my family about how I treat and feed my dog, although an ACTUAL vet recomends my dog food to me. Tried to hold my dog agianst her will until she deemd i was "allowed" to have her back. UNACCEPTABLE service.

I made an appointment online for a foster that we had taken in, she had never been groomed and was not fixed so I called because I had questions as to whether that was okay or not. They do not specify on the website the requirements needed for a groom and do not answer the phones because it is expected that you leave a message and they will call back. I never received a call back therefore I did not bring my dog in. And now they want to charge a $40 no show fee even though it didn’t say anywhere on the website or emails that they would do so. And I did not show because I did not receive a call back so I could have my questions answered.

First visit, great job, on a very neglected Goldendoodle we rescued. Second visit, ok cut, didn’t really follow picture my husband showed her. Third cut, without permission or say so, Lynette took it upon herself to SHAVE Charly, she called it a “summer cut,” My husband didn’t ask for a summer cut. He came home looking like a skinny poodle, ruining all the work I put in getting him to look a certain way. We also found Lynette’s pricing very inconsistent. So, his next two groomings, we took Charly to other places. Both were considerably less expensive. Then due to convenience tried Lynette again. The morning of Charly’s grooming, Lynette calls my husband and basically scolded us for taking Charly to other places for grooming. Said we had to have a “chat” about that and she CANCELLED our appointment. Very unprofessional and way more expensive than ANY other place. Won’t be back.

The entire staff was friendly and extremely professional! Highly recommend!

I went from taking my childhood dogs to my own! She is the most trustworthy groomer you will ever find. The pups always look and smell amazing. She never forget to get in their ears and between their paws!

I have been taking my dog to Pampered Pup for 12 years. Every haircut has been perfect! I love that my dog is ready in 1 1/2 hours! Lynette has taught me many things about dogs. She is very knowledgeable about all breeds. All the haircuts I have seen over the past 12 years have been perfect. She just opened her store in West Chicago and it’s amazing! She has thought of everything possible for the comfort of the dogs! I have comfort knowing my dog is in the best hands!

I’ve been taking my small Bichon Poodle mix to Pampered Pup for over 14 years! The grooming performed is consistent every time. My dog unfortunately is quite anxious and a handful at times. Lynette is always able to handle the situation and get the job done. Our house always smells great for weeks after our little walking air freshener comes home! Very knowledgeable about dog breeds and dog health also. Very happy with this service!

Lynette has been taking care of my dog Oliver for years. He is a Bichon who hates grooming. Lynette is not only the only groomer he trusts, she does a wonderful job and he always looks great when she's done. She really is the best in the business. I have sent friends her way and they agree.
