We got our Sasha from 4Paws4U4Ever in 2008. He is wonderful! He was frightened the first night but knew we all loved him. And he's "mom's" baby. His sister has her head in his back.

Have Adopted here before & they are Great to their Dogs!! NO, they're not the Cleanest or the Most Advanced Shelter, but I'm Much Happier that they spend their money on their Dogs instead. It is also (I Believe) a Life Long Labor of Love, by a long married couple.

We lost our loving dog of 14 years and when we were ready to obtain a new young dog we found 4 Paws and we are so very pleased we did. 4 Paws 4 U 4 Ever took really good care of 5 month old Riley, a beautiful dog of mixed breeding. They gave us all of the information we needed as well as answer all of our questions and concerns so that Riley's transition into our home was a good experience. Would recommend 4 Paws to anyone looking for a dog that has been well cared for and will be a loving companion.

Wonderful place to adopt a rescue dog. We had the pleasure of adopting from 4 Paws 5 months ago and could not be happier. John and Shari have an obvious love for the pets they rescue and give excellent guidance regarding the dog's known personality and traits, and how that relates to a good fit with the adopters. I called, about a 4 month old puppy, named Tracie, after filling out an application on line. Shari was very nice and asked me several questions. After talking for a bit, she asked if I wanted to meet Tracie. I was thrilled and dropped everything to make it happen. You could tell immediately that Tracie loved them by the way she responded to them. Tracie went home with us that day. ???? We changed her name to Indy. The new name suits her. She is adventurous and fun loving. Indy is a wonderful companion and a joy to be around. My whole family has fallen in love with her. ???? I would definitely adopt from them again. ????

I've gotten two dogs from this place super great.. my next dog will be from here too..

Adopted our "Stella" 5 years ago. Super sweet dog. The folks at 4 Paws 4 U 4 Ever were very professional and easy to work with.

Its been 3 yrs since I brought Wriglee home. She was obviously well cared for while she waited for me to connect with her . They worked to accommodate my schedule to get her home. Very friendly. Great experience. Good place to adopt from!!

What a great shelter to visit available pets. John and Shari are very easy to work with. We have gotten 2 dogs from them and they helped me take 1 in from a very sick family member that is no longer her with us. That pup was placed in a very loving home. I will definitely adopt again from these guys!

It's been almost 9 years since we adopted our Shepherd mix Pongo (aka Bodin). He has been a God send to our family and 4 Paws made it happen seamlessly. What a great experience. Just remeber a dog is only as smart and well behaved as you train it to be. Spend the time and raise them right.

We love our Kentucky mix breed pup! Got her 13 years ago. Also our extended family have all gotten their fur babies here. Great rescue would highly recommend.

Shari and Tom were incredible through the adoption process. They made sure he was going to a good home. The puppy I now have is in incredible shape thanks to them, and he is so happy!! Could not recommend more, I truly mean that. Thanks again

Correction of previous post. Great selection of puppies and staff was really helpful. A little out of the way but not too hard to find. You can tell that the folks here really care for their puppies. While it didn't work out for us with the puppy we wanted, we'll certainly keep them in mind as we continue looking. They're helping search for a puppy's forever home, not just selling to the first person who comes along. Please consider adopting over purchasing, not just because of the costs but for the simple fact that you're helping a needy puppy.

Best rescue around. They really care Everyone loves their adoptable fur kids and the pups all love the workers. Our little pup from there is such a great dog. Such a great rescue They even got us in touch with her brother who lives in the same town. The yearly picnics are great to meet the other families that they have touched

We have adopted 2 dogs from this organization. Daisee about 15 years ago then adopted Harlee about 8 years ago. Very happy with them. Daisee is no longer with us however Harlee is going strong.

Shari and John were amazing. We had a great experience getting our new pup through them. You can clearly tell they really care about their dogs. My family loves our new puppy so much already. We definitely recommend adopting through 4 Paws 4 U Forever!

Along with other people, I wish I could give these people 0 stars as well. Once my family and I arrived at petsmart, sherry was outside and seemed nice and I told her I was excited to meet a puppy. her husband seemed very drained and acted like he didn’t want to answer any of our questions. He wasn’t giving direct answers either as to where the dogs came from or facts about the dog itself. He also never had the dog on a leash, sitting right by the door making it accessible for the dog to run out. Sherry randomly started bringing in dogs and setting them in a small pen for other people to look at. While she was doing that I received a phone call. I do admit I was wrong for answering and tried to end it as fast as I could, though I wanted to make sure the person I was talking to was okay. I also thought I had some time before she was finally adjusted and everyone was ready to discuss the dog. Out of nowhere right as I ended the TWO MINUTE call, sherry automatically concluded that we weren’t a good fit because of me. She completely forgot she was walking in and out of the play area instead of greeting my family. While I was on the call, my mom and dad were asking questions and engaged in conversation with her husband and Sherry automatically decides we are unfit because of a call. After my mom told her that the whole family is here and she can see we are good people and we have experience with dogs, that apparently wasn’t enough. After my family left, I tried to talk to sherry directly and asked what happened and that i needed to answer a call. I was so confused. She didn’t give me one word of a reason why she denied us and just put the pup back in the small pen with 2 other dogs. I’m sure she would answer a call if her family was in an emergency. Sherry wasn’t even there the first few minutes of us meeting and then gets mad about me? Ridiculous. Overall, we will look elsewhere with people who are more understanding of unplanned situations and have actual communication skills when dealing with difficult situations instead of giving a young adult the silent treatment.

We are so happy that we contacted Shari and John! Shari was very quick to respond, and they matched us with the perfect puppy. They were thorough, professional, and compassionate. They obviously care about dogs very much and are doing a tremendous amount to improve their lives. Thank you!

My family and I had been looking for a puppy after the passing of our family dog. During Covid we were having a hard time getting responses from rescues. This was not the case here! I couldn’t have had a better experience. We filled out an application and also sent a follow up email just letting them know how interested we were. We received an email back right away & a phone call to set up the meet and great. Shari was so kind over the phone and even kinder in person! We truly had the best experience with this rescue. They went ABOVE and BEYOND for my family and I will forever be grateful!

Great place run by a couple trying to do good things. Shari booked an appointment with us and let us spend all the time we needed to select a puppy. Her information and printed materials made sense and gave a lot of information and value to the process. It was an honor to support them in their endeavors.
