My dog and me had the most outstanding experience here. He needed surgery urgently and they spent hours providing the best care. Every detail of what was wrong, how to help my dog, and how to care for him when we returned home was explained well. They care not just for the animals, but the humans too. Thank you!

We've been seeing these vets for 20 years - with a couple of generations of cats. Dr's and staff are great - they definitely get to know you and your pets - follow up always good - no unnecessary services recommended.

Staff are so very rude, lack compassion or kindness and are simply ‘Clueless’ with regards to emotional intelligence. Thankfully found treatment elsewhere.

Wauconda Animal Hospital is the only place I will take my dog. She has had 3 surgeries done and all went great. The staff and veterinarians are all friendly and make sure my pet is properly cared for. I really feel comfortable with my 13 year old chihuahua going there.

I trust this place 100% with my dog. My dog had surgery here for a luxating patella. He recovered beautifully.

We've been taking our pets here for about 20 years! Extremely compassionate team, from the good (regular checkups) to the sad (having to say goodbye to a pet). Though COVID protocols have been challenging at vet offices, they have slightly relaxed and I was able to go inside (masked) during my cat's appointment and keep her calm and happy. However, there's still no waiting inside and payment is still processed by phone. Also love that appointments can be booked through the PetDesk app and you can see your pets' medical history!

We would highly recommend Wauconda Animal Hospital! They really care about your pets. We take our chocolate Lab there and have never had any issues. Dr. Nemmers, in particular, is a terrific Vet, but the others are also very, very good and so are the Techs who work there.
