I honestly like this place I like the idea of having an appointment rather then a walk in who knows how long you’ll wait at a walk-in clinic. I rather set up an appointment and go there and they’ll be waiting for me. Not me waiting on them. Walk ins aren’t always the best in my opinion. I recommend all you pet owners like me, to take your pet here get set up in there system. And just set an appointment. It’s easy and why wait at a walk in clinic.

I never write reviews anywhere and its taken me a really long time to actually do this. We used to take our 2 cats here and we actually really loved it. We ended up having to put our beloved cat down and the situation I had to go through was terrible and I don't think any pet owner should have to do what I did. This all happened on 4/24/2020 right when covid began. The first thing was that we were not able to go into the vet at all. I had to drop my cat off at the front door and then wait for someone to pick him up and I wasn't allowed into the room. I was then told that you will have to wait for us to euthanize him and then come back and pick him up and take him to the funeral home. I had to wait for them to put my cat down and then they gave me him back in plastic bag. It was the worst day of my life and I hope no other person has to go through that.

I just want to let pet owners know that this office does not allow owners into new patient appointment even after the governor has moved the state into phase 5 as an open state. I asked if I could go in with my 2 dogs as it was their first time being seen at this office. Both are skiddish of new places and people I was told that the office is waiting for ISVMA clearance to allow pet owners in. After leaving the office I decided to call and ask why I wasn't told that all appointments were drop offs and was told that there are new people working and they must have forgotten. I attempted to explain to the woman on the phone that I had heard great things about this office and drove all the way from Kewanee to come to this visit she repeatedly just said okay in an annoyed tone. After I spoke with her I called the ISVMA in Springfield and was told that there is no such clearance, that all that needs to be done is follow CDC and local guidelines, which now means only masking if you are unvaccinated. I cannot believe the unprofessional attitude I was given from this office. If I would've been told this over the phone I wouldn't have scheduled the appointment and made the trip down to Peoria. I will be making an appointment with another vet.

They took good care of my cat Scampers. They called her the cat from Hell. Over everyone caring. Thanks lori

Called to see about getting kittens in and pricing the lady was rude and condescending about "how is she gonna quote it if she doesnt know weight" 3 other vets very nice and got us quotes almost immediately.... Would not recommend

Dr. Heather is a competent vet and they have nice staff.

They did great with the curb-side visit. Making the best out of a tough situation, they were quick and efficient with my dog's check up. Answered my questions and provided my anxious pup with the care he needed!

We love working with Dr. Heather. She is kind, straight to the point and easy going. We trust her care for our pups.

They have been awesome with the new additions! They were also wonderful with helping us through decisions and choices that were very hard with our last pup❤

The vet tech doesn’t seem to truly care for the well-being of animals, due to her nature of becoming extremely impatient as well as rude and unprofessional when dealing with pets and their owners requiring more help. Personally insulted myself over the phone with no provocation. Will not be returning. I’m just worried for others who will have to go through the same situation eventually.
