Eclipse Dog Grooming Villa Park, Illinois

I've taken my dog here for years. Always excellent and professional grooming in a friendly dog loving environment. Now that I'm in Naperville, I still drive every month for their grooming services of my Lhasa Apso.When I pick her up, she is absolutely immaculate and happy!

This is it 4th time I have taken my bichon poodle here.  Her very first visit was great. She looked beautiful. She developed mites shortly after (not the groomers fault) so she started biting patches out of her legs. Her next 2 visits, my husband authorized them to shave her down. Now that her fur is growing back and it's getting colder, I specifically told them today NOT to shave her bald. I told them to trim her low so she could keep her fur. I also told them to cut the fur on her face down. No where in these statements did I say SHAVE MY DOG BALD!!!! my dog doesn't even look like herself. Furthermore, my dog is a 7lb dog but it took 4 hours to groom her with an appointment????? When I take my dog to them she is always trembling and trying to run, when I pick her up it's as if she hadn't calmed down at all which makes me believe they are either scarring her or hurting her. I loved this place because of where it's located in relation to my house and the prices were nice but I will never go back here again!

Getting dogs nails trimmed. We don't go anywhere else.

Use to bring my other baby here and now we have a new baby so trying them out. Friendly prices awesome will try again and see. We have some horror stories with grooming so our fingers are crossed bit so far so good

Not friendly at all. Out of the 10 or so people working here, not a single person greeted me or my dog even when someone was up at the front counter right in front of me. Did not feel comfortable taking my dog here. Their prices seem reasonable but I would rather pay a bit more somewhere else.

My sister just called to inquire about their schedule openings & possible estimates. Their response was we don’t do dogs like yours. Excuse me? You can’t groom small cockapoos? Never knew a groomer would discriminate any dogs. Poor answer.

Friendly groomer, cut the dog's hair exactly like we wanted, VERY even cut with no nicks (which usually never happens, he's wiggly) and all at one of the best rates we've ever paid, even for worse cuts. We had to wait a couple of weeks for the appointment, but it was worth the wait. We can't say how happy we are that we've found Eclipse!

Kind groomers n affordable prices

I have two dogs, our shih tzu loves this place, the other, a basset hound, not so much (she doesn’t go for grooming, just for nail trimming which she HATES). The last time we went to get her nails trimmed the groomer accidentally cut through her quick and nobody noticed until we left. The groomer chased us down the street and quickly handled the blood, and cleaned her up! Excellent service at a great price! Call a couple of weeks ahead for full grooming appointments though!

Drew's the best. She takes care of Charlie and I know he can be a rascal.

The people on the phone are kind, the groomers do great work and the prices are good. Eclipse has been my go too for two years now and i don’t think i’ll be going anywhere else anytime soon.

Been using them for years, they go out of their way to help out. and they're the only ones my dog let's cut her nails. they dont take CC's so bring cash or check

My dog is a Yorkie and has always taken 1 to 11/2 hours to groom at this groomer- today it took more than 4 hours with my appointment. They completely shaved my dog leaving actual bald areas on his legs and neck- they also cut his left ear and never said a word about it. I noticed blood on his head , my shirt on the leather seat in my car while bringing him home- I called and spoke to the owner and she reports the usual groomer was not there today and she forgot to tell me about the cut, he moved while he was being clipped. My dog looks nothing like a Yorkie now- she said I could bring him back but they can’t repair him - they even completely shaved his face. He is was trembling and I can see why- There clearly lacks compassion at this place and no animal should be treated so poorly or their owner. Been going for ; years and now will never go or recommend again. Beyond disappointed.

Great place and very reasonably priced. My mom has been taking her dog here for years! We recently bought our golden retriever from them (Sunset Goldens is the name of the breeding business). Debra is super knowledgable, kind and helpful.

They always do a great job with my boys. I have two VERY large pits. My one, is a pain to cut his nails. He is so strong, and will try to knock anyone down because he is so scared. They do a great job pinning Tank to the wall and cutting his nails. Most places wouldn't even take him. This groomer has been in Villa Park since I was a kid. They do great work with grooming too! Would highly recommend.
