The vet is great even though my cat isnt a fan of going they are very patient

I unfortunately no longer take my Bernese Mountain Dog to True Vet Care after relocating to Chicago, however I often consider making the 2.5 hour trip simply because of how amazing they are. Not only did they provide Roo with exceptional, affordable, care when I brought her into their office, but whenever we needed it by phone. Roo had stomach issues due to an allergy and they would respond regularly and quickly to our questions over text as we tried to resolve the issue. After moving, when Roo needed to be spayed, we drove back to Madison for the procedure because no one is better. They checked in on how she was doing daily and always made us know that they cared. In addition, they are incredibly responsive and timely when I request records for my new vet office. If you are in need of a vet and there is someone closer to you, don't do it! It is worth the drive from downtown Madison because of how friendly, helpful, and professional True Vet Care is. I will continue to plan trips to Madison around Roo's vaccination schedule simply to ensure she receives the love and highest quality care that is provided here.

I've had nothing but outstanding care for my young dog at True Vet, both preventative care and helping us through a recent acute issue. The staff is friendly, professional, responsive, and they take time to listen to me and explain treatment options. Fees and supply costs are very reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Yesterday I had to help my guy cross over, we had been together since he was about 2-3 months old. He was the “bestest” little man and so gentleman like to his girls, always giving them the best place to sit if they wanted it. This decision was one of the hardest we make as a fur parent, but we all know it will come at some point. His legs were failing him, but not his desire for food, especially my food. Since we have not lived in Madison long, I wanted to find a place that made me feel comfortable with everything. A clinic that made his crossover special, not rushed, not like we were just a number. True Veterinary Care went above and beyond for us! When we walked into the room they had a nice orthopedic bed with a nice soft blanket on it and a bowl of treats for Hester. Treats he would normally not be able to have….. He LOVED them so much, they even gave him seconds. Kelsey and Dr Amelia were amazing to us!!! I know they had so much other things going on, but they truly made me feel like we were the only clients they had. I believe they made Hester feel extremely special!! Thank you sooooo much Dr. Amelia, Kelsey and the “chef” for making our closing chapter together so special.

True Veterinary Care has always provided the highest quality care for my dogs & wonderful customer service. Their health plans make costs very reasonable.

2 stars for not letting people be inside with their pets, you have to wait outside in your car. I came in for a wellness visit and I was told I can text them if I had any questions, seems very impersonal. Not pleased with the service.

I couldn’t be happier or more impressed with this clinic. They are amazing and very patient with my very anxious dog. They take the time to answer any and all questions. They have managed to squeeze him in when necessary and always make me feel very comfortable and explain things so I can make the best decision for my furry family member.

We've been going to True Vet for years and have never had a bad experience. The Vets and Vet Techs are all extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. I wouldn't take our pets anywhere else.

The Vets AND Vet Techs are all phenomenal people, they make each individual pet (and human!!) that comes through their door feel special in their own individual way. Their prices are affordable and they offer something that I wish all Vets would offer, wellness plans! You pay a flat monthly fee and depending on which package you choose, have unlimited medical exams covered, all your vaccines covered among a few other things. It’s a great idea and helps owners be able to afford keeping their pets up to date on vaccines and wellness visits! The one and ONLY thing that disappoints me about True Vet is that their hours are short (9.5 hours mon-fri) and they’re not open on Saturdays. But if you’re close and live in the area, that probably wouldn’t be that big of an issue so don’t let that deter you! This place is THE BEST!!!

An amazing vet who was able to uncover issues with my dog that another vet wasn't able to - after going there for a second opinion, they are now my primary vet. They have excellent communication, go out of their way to explain everything, will call, text, email, etc. And genuinely seem to care about us and our dog. They don't do anything that isn't necessary and I always felt in control of the decisions concerning my dog's treatment and how much I was spending. There was a wait to get an appointment but it was worth it, and I see why - it's because of the amount of care and attention they give, they don't just churn through patients. Thanks, True!!

True Vet has been great! Everyone is helpful, they are great with my very shy kitty and always responsive to questions. My dog needed surgery and they were wonderful with giving options, answering questions, proactively reaching out to see how she was recovering.

Haven't actually been inside (covid) but these employees are pleasant, quickly responsive and are recommendable.

We took our very sick cat here and had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Jackie. She took the time to explain everything to us in way we could understand it. You could tell she truly cares about the animals that she, and her staff take care of. I highly recommend this place, they are reasonable and will answer all your questions. Edit: My beloved cat Jethro ended up passing away here. Words can not express how comfortable they made the process. I have another cat and wil be going here for the rest of my life. They're committed, genuine, and lovely people. Thank all of you so much.

I can't say enough great things about True Veterinary Care! Everyone is so helpful and responsive, whether we are contacting them for routine appointments or urgent issues. After having the same vet for over 15 years... the team at True Veterinary has been great since we moved to Verona!

Took a stray kitten in that was on the side of the road, they fixed him up. Hopefully he found a good home! Nice and very amazing staff.

My dogs do fantastic here, even my reactive one! The staff is so patient and take their time to make nervous pets feel as comfortable as possible. The facility is very clean and I just love the quality of care my pets receive! I recommend True Vet to anyone that asks!

We brought our puppy here earlier this year and it has been nothing short of an outstanding experience every time! Through all the puppy treatments- shots and spay and even an emergency visit, the staff has always been very kind, thorough, understanding and willing to answer our many questions. (They even have an after hours text line that has saved us overnight panic numerous times). Oh and they have adapted to Covid practices flawlessly - leaving medications by the door and pickups/drop offs via texts. Highly recommend Nicki, Dr. Sarah and the whole staff over at True Vet. They have made the beginning of our first pet experience truly wonderful!

We have been bringing our dogs here since we moved to Verona in 2018. They have only been kind and considerate to our two dogs. We have had consistent and easy vet visits, they have helped us with prescription rebates, and suggested a multitude of care options that helps us feel sure about our decisions. They transitioned easily with the pandemic but they have been flexible ever since we arrived. We initially choose them due to their AAHA accreditation and haven't been disappointed.
