Our experience at the Animal Hospital of Verona was exceptional. Since we are not local, I do not bring Belle here regularly; our experience was for an oral surgery root canal. I received phone calls before the surgery to remind me how to prepare Belle for the procedure and the day after checking in on how she was recovering. My experience in the office was just as impressive. Ayla, our technician, and Dr. Brian Hoelscher provided me with more than adequate information; in fact, it was overwhelming. However, they anticipated that and sent me home with details of everything! The summary included details of the procedure, her medications, and her diet. They said she needed to be on soft food for 5-6 days, and they even sent me home with the food they recommended! Belle’s consultation was 3 months before the surgery, and it was still well within the range that they quoted me. It was within $150 of the bottom end of the spectrum. Dr. Hoelscher and Ayla were knowledgeable, personable, and thoroughly explained everything. He answered questions about the procedure and provided examples of alternative chew options for Belle. They offered to fill her medications at the office or call our vet to have them filled closer to home.

I was concerned by all the recent, one-star, reviews. But I took my pup in anyway and I’m glad I did. Receptionists and vet clerk were quick and friendly. Doctor (Jordy) was professional, patient, and thorough. Prices were ask expected.

We bring all of our pets to the Animal Hospital of Verona. Everyone in the building is kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! The Vet’s and Vet Technicians/Assistants are gentle and take time with each of our pets whenever we bring them in.

Ignore my rating for a second. Our vet tech was lovely. She was kind, personable, and help us understand and care for our babies. The vet on the other hand is a different story. You can trust this vet with your animal, but it might be their funeral like it was for my baby.

If your thinking of taking your pet here, don't. I've been going here for over 10 years and over the last two years service has gone way down. My last experience was the worst and have finally given up giving them second chances, we are finding a new veterinary clinic. The only reason we stayed was due to the veterinary doctor we have been seeing and the great relationship we had with him. The other veterinary doctor did not do well with our dog and a number of the technicians are not qualified to work on dogs. My dog should not have to suffer due to their mistakes.

Friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and well trained. Very slow to return calls and a substantial amount of time for my pet to be seen. I would go here if they had more availability, but the soonest i can get in is almost a month from now and when it comes to my fur baby, that's WAY to long. I understand it's because they are busy and overworked, though. So i don't blame the staff what so ever. Glad to have them in town!

All of the vets at Animal Hospital of Verona and their staff are knowledgeable, caring and patient. I’ve had two cats as patients over the past 20 years. I’ve met with Dr. Smith, Dr. Voss and Dr. Hoelscher, they have educated us in how to care for our pets in bad times and have been there in the good times for check ups and vaccinations. An on-site lab is a plus for fast results and peace of mind in a speedy diagnosis. If you are new to Verona or are a new pet parent, Animal Hospital of Verona is the place to go!

I've always thought Animal Hospital of Verona is a really nice Vet Clinic. I really can't think of any experience there that hasn't been really good. the vets are experienced and knowledgeable with different types of animals. the person who answers the phone is always really helpful and kind. I would recommend it but I don't think they're taking new patients at this time.

Not only am I impressed with how this team is handling the pandemic, but how they continue to manage care when they are needed. And, they are - needed. Thank you for all you do!! Its great to rely on you, and an honor to recommend you.

The staff here is so friendly and provide great care and owner/pet experience! They take the time to really know your pet, give you the information and include you on decisions like available vaccines and tests, and are great at answering questions and giving advice. Taking my cats to the vet and making sure they are healthy is now a stress free experience!

The staff and vets at Animal Hospital of Verona are wonderful. I have taken my dog to them for years and they have always provided professional, loving care. They take the time to listen to your concerns and offer solutions and full explanations. I have a husky that is a little dramatic and can be tough to treat. We worked out a plan that made it a positive experience so he was able to get the medical treatment he needed without stress. Thank you!

I am so happy with my own kitty's care (his name is Tommy Tucker) that I decided his "brother" Tollee owned by my friend Catt should have the same vet. Now we are both happy with the care our boys are getting! Tollee is in good hands, and so is Tommy Tucker. All technicians and dr Smith are wonderful!

The staff and vets at Animal Hospital of Verona are incredible. They are warm, welcoming, and love every pet that walks (or is carried) through the door. They treat us like friends, remembering little details and stories we've told. They are attentive, flexible, and very responsive to my questions and concerns. I trust their guidance and expertise, and they trust my knowledge of my pets.

All the staff were great. The office staff was efficient. The vet assistants were friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my pet. The Vet Dr. explained things in easy to understand language. We will be back.

By far the best veterinary services in the area, they truly care about your furry family members!

Animal Hospital of Verona is the best! I have 2 dogs, a cat and a parrot that have been lovingly cared for by the staff. These folks are knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this clinic!

They offer great exotic pet care, my bunny got an infection a while ago and the level of care that they provided was wonderful. Dr. Barney Smith fixed my parents rabbit over 25 years ago and my rabbit about 3years ago, so he's pretty good at what he does.

I transferred to Animal Hospital of Verona from another clinic because I felt I wasn't getting personal care there, and I often felt like I was being shuffled out of the clinic so the doc could move on to the next patient. When the vet at the other clinic wouldn't see my dog and wanted to make an assessment over the phone (and was wrong), it was time to change clinics. I couldn't be happier with Animal Hospital of Verona! From the minute I walk in to the moment I walk out, I feel like the staff is interested in my dog and her well being. Staff also listened to all my questions and concerns without me feeling rushed, and I never felt like any question was a ridiculous one. My dog trainer came up in conversation with the doc. When the doc was familiar with my trainer and was as happy with him as I am, that clinched the deal. I never had the opportunity to have such an in depth conversation about my dog at the other clinic. The clinic has evening and weekend hours, which is extremely helpful with my schedule. I had to reschedule due to weather and every effort was made to accommodate my schedule. Everything is clean and orderly. All the staff is cheerful and welcoming and show interest in both the pet and owner. I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Verona.
