Use to be better...vets are in and out and a couple of girls at front counter have very poor attitudes.

We have been taking our dogs here for years now, and always had a great experience. Staff is super friendly and always genuinely interested in our dogs and their health. They also have a lifetime shots program that has saved us alot of money over the years!

I was asked to wear a mask when I came in to pick up my pet, was no problem. When I walk in people behind the desk wearing no mask, I said I was told to wear a mask, they said we’re separated away from each other. But I pay my bill standing one foot away from them without a mask!

This was my first visit and I will go back. Dr.Butler is very down to earth and explains everything.it was a comfortable experience.

The staff was wonderful and the veterinarian answered all of my questions. They treated my dog very well and they gave him lots of treats!

I actually meet some of the staff last Christmas when I donated toys and chews to this lovely facility I wouldnt mind volunteering but besides that a very welcome and caring bunch of people ✌????????

Really excellent. Staff and doctors are always very friendly and truly seem to love working with animals. The vets have never rushed us, unlike some I have previously experienced. They explain everything at length and make sure to ask for questions, which I greatly appreciate. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great vet.

The vets were great and they did an excellent job caring for my cat. I will definitely continue to use their services.

They took great care of my dog. Just a general check up, plus her ears needed checked and heartworm meds.

Had a really bad experience with this vet today. When we spoke with the vet after the appointment they struggled to provide ways that we could improve on my dogs health, only reiterated things we told them we are already doing. They shaved a part of my dog’s double coat fur, it will never grow back. The first time we went to this vet they were very good to him, took extra care when he was stressed about getting in the table, asked about his double coat. That is simply not the case this time. We will never be back and advise others to take their animals elsewhere.

They really care about your pets.

Unfortunately my mother took my cat of 22 years to this clinic because she found him unresponsive and it was the closest vet to her. My mother called me historical to meet her at the clinic because the clinic refused to put my cat down as he was gasping for air because she didn’t have the funds to pay them for it. Keep in mind I was approximately 45 min away. I called to speak to the clinic letting them know I was on my way to pay for the service but would be about 45 min. For 45 minutes they allowed my cat to sit there and gasp for air. If that wasn’t enough I was shocked as the vet euthanized my cat of 22 years, needle in hand she muttered “this is a horrible way to die” disgusting!! I later called to complain about this issue as I thought it was extremely inhumane and insensitive. I was apologized to and told the veterinarian who had taken care of us that day “was not a typical veterinarian that worked there”. The supervisor I spoke to agreed that we were treated poorly and apologized for any inconvenience. Fast forward to months later my mother attempted to give this place a second chance for whatever reason. She was told there was a note on the account PER THE OWNER that because her daughter called and complained about their horrendous experience they will no longer except HER as a customer. I have never heard of something so ridiculous and unprofessional in my entire life. This just shows me that they knew they were wrong and don’t want any further complaints. Instead of bettering themselves as a company they shut any criticism up regardless of them being wrong. I never write reviews and very rarely call a company to complain, the fact that I had to do both to this company shows a lot about them. Do better, you shouldn’t be in this business if you have no compassion for animals and their owners!

Pricey but a great vet. They are really good with the animals and our dog loves going.

5 Stars without hesitation.. very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient to all of your questions. They also do a follow up call to make sure your pet is getting better.

I have used Valparaiso Animal Hospital for years and I’ll just say there is no doubt that Dr Jill Butler is the most compassionate, skilled and talented vet around. Very very highly recommended- if you want the absolute best care for your pet, look no further. the entire staff is kind and competent, the office is so well put together and organized and efficient. We are all lucky to have Dr Jill in our community, thank you so much for keeping our pets happy and healthy!

Love VAH! Especially when we get to see Dr. Booth. Their techs and front desk staff are very professional and friendly. Wish they still had their vaccine program, though ????

We just moved to town and also just got a puppy. We took him to here. The experience was great. We also really appreciated the follow up call as well. We got the vaccines for life which is a great deal. Glad we chose to take him here.
