Just a little disappointed that a $387 surgery didn't warrant any contact with the doctor, no opportunity to discuss the surgery with her or ask her questions either when I picked Rascal up after surgery or returned for suture removal. I understand being short-handed though and there's clearly a shortage of veterinarians in Terre Haute given the waiting list at other offices. The surgery seems to have gone well and he is not having any problems though so I am happy with that aspect of care.

This is our 1st puppy. The staff was friendly. They explained the vaccinations and what type of behavior to expect with a puppy. They answered all of our questions. We are glad we chose Petcare

Apart from the naked pedestrian wielding a knife in one hand and another "weapon" in the other hand- setting the facility on a temporary lockdown, my animals were well cared for.

My husband and I have taken our pets to Petcare Animal for over a year. All of our animals are elderly, so they require a lot of care. HOWEVER, since the time we have started going to them, we have shelled out money endlessly to this place. Hundreds of dollars for each visit.. We understand that things cost money, but at this point, we have spent so much money that when my husband took our dog to them today for a re-evaluation for a spot that grew very quickly on his paw, he asked what specifically he was paying for with the final bill and why the appointment took so long, and was very quickly told by Dr. Alyssa Moudy, that 'maybe Petcare isn't the place for us, and we should find another vet clinic', before walking back into the office and leaving my husband and her vet assistant standing there wondering what just happened. Apparently, questioning a bill and/or feeling frustrated about the length of time that a vet appointment takes is NOT ALLOWED at Petcare. It was relayed to me that "maybe there is a difference in personalities" between her and my husband, - which in layman's terms means that she doesn't' like him.. In a service based industry, it is a shame that a dislike for someone's 'personality' is enough to get the boot at this place. How disappointing that a personal feeling is enough to drive this Doctor to refuse service for animals that we have entrusted with their care. Now, we are left to find another vet clinic to remove this mass on our dogs foot, that is bleeding and causing him obvious discomfort - All because my husband asked 1). why did a 're-check' appointment take 1.5 hours. and 2). why is the 'estimate for this surgery' coming with a $400 gap in possible billing. We were going to have this spot on his paw removed on Monday, so the difference between $300 and $700 DOES matter with only a few days turn around. Not to mention, 7 days ago, we spent $250 on his evaluation, blood work, yearly vaccinations, antibiotics, another $150 today, and are now looking at upwards of $700 for yet ANOTHER vet service in only a few days. Now, thanks to the selfish and childish behavior of "Owner" Alyssa Moudy, we are left with a dog who has an obvious issue that needs attention, and a veterinarian that has refused service based on her own personal feelings. Such a shame that our dog is the one who really loses here - thank you Alyssa Moudy for showing how handle tough situations... you don't. If you're looking for a new vet, DONT COME HERE.

I recommend Petcare Animal Hospital to anyone! They took really good care of my sick pet. Dr. Moudy explained everything to me very clearly and was transparent on the course of action and outcomes. The staff are very nice.

Very transparent on pricing, will go over estimates and get approval before doing any service. Friendly staff that are always excited to see my pets when they come in.

I love this place! I work here and omg... It is great. The Dr. Is amazing at what she does. If you ever need vaccines for your animals, adopt some kittens to unfortunately euthanizing a beloved animal this is the place 2 go. They make you feel comfortable and I suggest to go here.

Top notch pet care at a reasonable price! My dog was very sick, and options and prices were discussed with me upfront after his exam. I am happy to report that he is now healthy, and I was convinced he would need to be put down.

This was a special that they was putting on to get dogs vaccinated and the people I have no the workers I have no qualms with they was great it was the public that was coming in who couldn't manage their pets

So glad I chose Petcare Animal hospital. The staff and Doctors are exceptional. They understand that our pets mean the world to us.

I'd been going to another vet for years and I was unhappy with the nonchalant way that vet approached my dogs limping. Petcare took x-rays and found out she has severe arthritis and started her on two different medications to ease her pain. So thankful I switched.

I think they are very nice people. They help all sorts of animals. I have never been to this vet but I love how nice they were when I called.

They charge for air. They did not do the neutering for my cat with fluids and then I had to pay for if he died during surgery for them to even attempt CPR. What kind of person charges for that? They charged itemized for a simple procedure and then guilt you if something happens you did it. When the itemized list was over 900 bucks. They quote one price and it’s always three times the amount. The final straw was when I got a new cat and the first visit is advertised as free but because I said he was sneezing they wanted to charge me 59 bucks which would have been at least 120 after they saw him. Ridiculous!
