My dog was in great pain for several days. They listened to my serious concerns and took her in quickly, which led to x-rays and the removal of obstructions in her stomach and intestines. The entire staff was compassionate and helpful from the start. The doctors were knowledgeable and thorough. We are so grateful that Penny was in such good hands in this emergency. I can’t say enough good things about AMC.

I highly recommend Animal Medical Clinic of Saint Charles. They took all reasonable precautions to ensure my safety and the safety of my 129 pound dog. The appointment was on time, professional yet compassionate, and staff as well as Dr. Kroll were truly interested in my dog's health and wellness.

This is a very professional, exceptional, and reasonably priced practice. My dog has been a patient for three years. In fact, so pleased have I been that I have ordered a gift basket to send because they really go the extra mile to take care of my little guy.

The vets and staff are always quick to respond to anything my dog requires, from exams, meds and just questions about her health. Everyone there provides the best very care possible.

All the vets at Animal Medical Clinic are great. They give my pets awesome care, and I always feel comfortable and knowledgeable about the status and treatments for my pet.

I could not be more unhappy wth Dr.Amy. Extremely unprofessional and was inconvenient for her to return a phone call and speak to me due to “only having 3 minutes” because she has been “so busy”. Mind you, she didn’t even return the first phone call. Will not be returning to this practice.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. If your pet is having a problem and you regular vet is not available, they don't make you wait for her to return - they get you in right away with another vet.

Best vet I have ever been to they take excellent care of my dog. My dog loves everyone there and always has a good experience.

We were referred to Dr. Cook by our vet, when our dog Max was having knee issues with his ligaments. Dr. Cook and staff were so kind, compassionate and very understanding of all our worries. Dr. Cook obviously does a lot of these procedures, and it shows because this is a streamlined process. Max had his surgery a month ago. The office was clean (and cute!). We checked Max in that morning and everything was explained in full. Later that afternoon we picked up our shaved and limping guy and had the next two week plan explained to us (basically keep him calm and walking as little as possible!). Handouts were provided with the instructions for all the details we discussed so we could refer back. We were also given a phone number to text 24/7 if we had any questions/concerns or wanted to send pictures to say, does this look right? After the two weeks, we had our follow up to have the staples removed. Everyone - the follow up and any future check ins on the leg are free! Max’s knee was looking and working great. We are now a month later starting on our rehab journey and are so thankful that A) we have pet insurance, if you don’t have it, get it! B) that we were able to get quality care do our Max. And we hope we have no further issues, but with a crazy Boxer, if we do, we know where to go! Thank you so much Dr. Cook and team! Your care was thoughtful and well planned out. EDIT: We are now 6 months out from Max’s surgery. He is now almost completely back to normal. The only remaining sign is every once in a while, after laying for a long time he is a little limpy for a few steps, like he has stiffened up. One thing for him that was night and day difference was Trader Joe’s glucosamine for dogs. We had started him on a much more expensive one from Cost Co and were worried because he seemed to be not making a lot of progress. So when that ran out we switched to the $10 Trader Joe’s version... within a week or two there was a massive difference!

I've taken my fur babies to AMC of St Charles for many many years... they feel like my extended family to some extent. Trust them for everything cat and dog related.. they truly care about our pets! I recently moved further away from St Charles, but am still making the drive to continue pet care with Animal Medical Clinic... would be hard pressed to find the connections I've built with the staff there. Absolutely love them!

For the past 13 years, we have had 3 dogs cared for at this clinic, including multiple emergency type visits and one surgery with Dr. Cook. I’ve never had a bad experience w the office staff or any of the Veterinarians. We especially love Dr. Kroll! She is very caring and compassionate.

The care is better than excellent. The staff is caring, knowledgeable and loving for your animal(s). All Dr's are equally fantastic. You will not be disappointed by this group!

I've been going to AMC for 21 years. I completely trust them with my beagles. Dr Kroll is amazing and I know she is always doing what's best for my pups, Nada always gets back to me or helps with questions and I've never had a bad experience. I completely trust them with all of my cuties. I've referred them to my sister, mother in law and best friend. My pups are family and I feel like they take care of them like family.

I took my cat, Stella, for a check-up. It was our first visit, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the clinic and it didn't smell bad like other places. The staff was friendly and caring. I felt that the cost was fair, which was a pleasant surprise. To top it off, they are located about 5 minutes from my home.

All the staff are wonderful and resolve any concerns I may have about my dog. They listen to my questions and provide relevant answers. They take wonderful care of my dog AND me!

Everyone is always friendly, the office is clean, and everything is explained fully. My cats and I love our doc here!

Separate dog and cat entries nice people

We've been clients of Animal Medical Clinic for almost 9 years. We started by taking our older dog there, and we now also take our 2-year-old. All of the doctors and staff that I've worked with are kind and compassionate. My dogs, while a little nervous, never shy away from the staff and look forward to greeting them when they come in the room. Our older dog has had a number of unfortunate circumstances, including a broken leg and bladder stones. They are always kind and gentle with her, and she's now a happy, healthy "senior" dog. :-D I never hesitate to recommend Animal Medical to anyone.
