Millbrook Animal Care Clinic Geneva, Illinois

We made an appointment yesterday for today regarding our senior dog that is nearing the end of his life. We were specific on the phone of our situation and the receptionist never mentioned they are only doing curbside appointments. We arrived today and realized that we would not be able to go into the appointment with our dog. How exactly are we supposed to talk to the vet about options and show her/him specifically what is ailing our dog. This is so uncaring. We will NEVER be back to this vet...EVER. I get the COVID, but how about everyone wear a mask?

The facility is clean, well run, full of lovely people. Came here per recommendation. Dr. David is amazing!! Best veterinarian I've ever had, easily. He is a very busy man, but always expresses care and kindness for my dogs! If you have a worry, he's available by leaving a voice message. It's a great feeling to be able to talk to him when something comes up. My poor dog had bladder stones that required surgery. Dr. David is our regular vet and surgeon. Love love love.

This place is amazing! Professional office and wonderful doctors. Highly recommend!!

Millbrook Animal care is great. They treat our dog Payton wonderfully. We love all the Vets and support staff.

Millbrook is such a reliable vet. Like all pets, sometimes they get sick very randomly and it can be very scary. Millbrook always has open availability and are always there to ease my mind with the 1000 questions I might have, lol. Thank you so much for taking care of Grandpa and Noodle. It really means a lot that I can always rely on their staff. So friendly and you can tell they really care ❤️

Millbrook is the best! We see Dr. Brittany Kaufman and trust her completely with the care of our dogs. She is on top of the latest veterinary medicine and has provided the best care for our two small dogs.

I have a senior dog, and the staff is always very, very caring. I love the respect, love and compassion that is shown to my sweet 13 1/2 year old golden retriever. Everyone is respectful and professional, and I never feel rushed with a wellness or sick visit.

These animal doctors prey on human emotions and will straight up lie to you about how your pet is doing to coerce you into spending more money on unnecessary cautionary measures.

The way they treated our pet, we would never go back. It seemed to us that they had no concern for our pet or regard for us. There was also no follow up care. We felt like a number at an assembly line. We are glad that we noticed Millbrook and Dr. David Kaufman's lack of regard for us before one of our pets had a serious medical issue. And, most of the vets at Millbrook seem to be recent vet school graduates, so not as experienced.

They are super sweet with my pup! I just wish they communicated a little better as to what I needed for my pup and when.

I have been bringing my pets here for years. My mom has also been bringing her pets here. They have saved my pets life! They have done extensive work on my moms pets before. They do an amazing job!! It may cost a little bit more but they really do care about your animals! Someone you can trust????

My sister and I have been bringing our dog Eddie here since we adopted him as a pup. Dr. David and all of the staff at Millbrook have been absolutely amazing. They are tentative, professional, clean, timely, informative…the list goes on with nothing but positive things to say. I always leave visits confident in the information and care provided. I would recommend anyone to Dr. David/Millbrook without any hesitation whatsoever. Our fur babies are our family, and it’s really comforting to know that this place treats them with that same care and respect. They have done a lot for me and my sister, and most importantly, Eddie. Thank you to the techs and front staff, too. They all greet Eddie with warmth and take such great care of him. I could write a novel of good things to say about this place. I had a wonderful positive experience here at Animal Care Clinic (Millbrook) . I was with Banfield Pet Hospital for years but was tired of never being able to be seen , treated poorly, never a call back, & just rude overall. I stayed because of convenience until now. So happy I search and looked around and took my furbaby here. I was treated so good by ALL, including front desk. Dr. Jessica spent as much time as I needed to go over everything and responded to all my concerns, very professional. My sweet Kia had been dealing with paw issues for years, she now has been treated how she should of been and this infection is on its way to healing. I highly recommend Millbrook. You will not be disappointed.

Took my poodle to get groomed for the second time. The first time we came, he was 50 pounds and his hair cut was $65. Today he is 60 pounds and his cut was $115… Why would his haircut be $50 more for a 10 pound difference? Thats not even the worst part. We dropped him off at 9 am and he was not ready to be picked up until 5pm… 8 hours for a trim? I won’t be back.

Horrible! this is all I can say. They treat their clients like they should do their job! Weigh your own dog, command you to wear a mask and treat You like a second citizen. The owners need to remember who they are hiring as their "gatekeepers" the Receptionists - Power in their heads! (this receptionist dark hair and heavier set and full of herself!) Not treating customers politely. I will never go there again. When my dog is sick, the last thing I want is some prison guard yelling at me and telling me what to do, then turning to other people talking and ignoring my questions.

This is what a vet clinic should be. They care about animals and their owners. Seems obvious, but unfortunately for many vets it is not. Many vets make you wait 15-30 minutes past your appointment time before you are helped. Every...Single...Time... Millbrook is great at being timely with their appointments. Everyone's time is valuable and they respect that. Some vets I have dealt with give the distinct impression that the bottom line is more important than my pets. Pet care and vet care will always have a cost. Their expertise has great value. That being said, I have never felt like any of the information I was given or the choices I was offered were based on Millbrook making an extra buck off of me and my pets. Finally, and possibly worst of all, are the vets that are aloof. The vets at Millbrook have always been engaging and warm. The ability to help owners make proper and informed decisions about the healthcare of their pets without seeming cold or rushed is a gift. It is a gift that takes a level of specific intent that many vet clinics do not achieve. I have no doubt that their are other vet clinics in the area that hit all of these marks. I have not had the pleasure of dealing with any others. I would recommend Millbrook to anyone looking for a vet clinic. Thank you and your staff for always taking good care of our pets and taking good care of us as well.

I think this vet clinic is entirely professional. I love that I can board my dog with the vet and the warm, loving, and honest staff when I have to go away. My dog wasn't eating well when I first left him while on vacation because he was upset and they were honest about it and had ways to coax him along to eat and gave him plenty of love.

Dr. Brittany is amazing! I have a very nervous pup who hates the vet. Dr. Brittany takes her time with Charlie and always makes him comfortable. You can tell she truly loves her patients! We have gone to many vets and drive 40+ minutes to see her. BEST OF THE BEST !

I adopted a puppy i took him for shots here twice already the 2 times i took him they kept insisting on giving him a shot that was not on his list of shots he needed it was over $250 i said no thanks not now i don't have that much money right now and its not on his list anyway they kept my puppy inside and the lady was on the phone insisting still. After i got my puppy and left within 2 minutes i got another call still insisting on this shot.

Took my 11month old brittneypoodle to Millbrook about a month ago due to diarrhea. He was put on antibiotics and a bland diet. There was absolutely no follow-up by any vet regarding his symptoms. A month later took him in again for same reason, once again they prescribed same thing and charged my credit card again. Once again, no follow-up by the vet. Now my dog has been throwing up daily in the mornings, I called Monday and asked to speak to a doctor and I have not heard from anyone. I called again to make an appointment last night and still could not speak to a doctor but was told to make an appointment instead. I voiced that I was disappointed I have not been able to speak to a doctor and how my dog's symptoms have not been taken care of, the person on the phone said absolutely nothing other than, "do you want to bring him in." This morning I called to cancel the appointment, its not worth bringing my dog to a place where they simply don't care for his wellbeing or the parents concerns. I canceled the appointment and told her why, once again they said nothing, did not even attempt to ask or refer me to a manager. Very disappointed in their care and follow-up. I decided to write ths review after calling the clinic twice and voicing my concerns yet tre was no attempt by the Clinic to even show that they cared.

Great Vets, great employees, great service! Would highly recommend.

Such a nice and friendly staff who really care for animals!

The first day I went to Millbrook, I was all sorts of anxious. We had just rescued an abandoned puppy but even with all the paperwork, I was overwhelmed. Immediately, the staff made me feel at ease and that I was a priority. They listened to every question I had, without interruption, explained what needed to be done and why, as well as informed me of other procedures that could wait. I never felt pressured to do anything “extra” so to speak nor did I ever feel that I was taking up their time or bothering them. Dr. David has blown us away with his patience, kindness and obvious passion for helping animals live their lives to the fullest. I cannot say enough good things about Millbrook. There are other Vets much closer but Millbrook is worth the extra 10mins.

They are amazing and compassionate. They have assisted us through tough times with a senior dog and have been able to accommodate our other dogs special needs. She has very high anxiety and is terrified of other people. She takes special care and they have been great through the entire process. We are now taking our new puppy there as well and he loves it. Thanks for everything!!!!

Millbrook takes good care of our elderly Lovebird! Service is gentle and at a fair price! A good place to care for your pets!
