Absolutely love it! My puppy went in looking like a hot mess but came out looking like a show dog after!

Called to set up an appointment for a meet and greet for my pup. The owner said sure come by and I said is 5pm tomorrow okay? She agreed and I showed up the following day. There’s not entrance due to Covid which really confused me so I called. Judy said “it’s pickup time right now for the dogs so it’s not a good time. All my crew left already. Come back another day before 1 or 2pm” I told her the day prior if 5pm was okay and she said yes! I thought I was the crazy one but my girlfriend was there when I called and told me I definitely she definitely said yes. If you’re that consumed with other pets and don’t have the staff to take on additional dogs, put a notice up saying not accepting new pets for daycare. I live down the street and will be looking elsewhere to spend my money.

My wife and I recently moved to Elgin and we were looking for a new grooming place for our 2 dogs. Glad we found Motif Grooming, they were great! Did a great job with our 2 dogs and were so nice. We will definitely go back!

I've been going there for years. Three dogs that are beautiful but difficult to maintain. These people truly care about dogs and always provide comments on their health and welfare. I also have boarded them there with no issues.

Very disappointed!!! you guys be careful with this place my parents don’t know what to do now with their senior she went for a hair cut and came back really bad from neck its all red like if she got cut super red and bleeding and she won’t eat she acts very scare . They told my Dad that it’s allergies . But this look like she got cut or they put a type of chemical. Really disappointed.

I called so I could have an appointment for my puppy. But in a couple of second with being in the call the lady says “there’s three people who are calling right now. Can I please have your phone number then I call you back? ”.... I never received a call back! Plus there was a dog crying in the back and she seemed annoyed from it. Made me wonder if I would like to take my dog there...

Just moved to Elgin and was looking to find a new place for my dog’s monthly nail trim. They did a great job, and were respectful of my dogs needs as he has a lot of anxiety being at groomers, the vet, etc. he was in and out quickly. Thank you!

I really wanted to like this place knowing that it's down the street from my house. However, I had called because I wanted to take my puppy in for a nail trim. I wanted to know if I could walk in or make an appointment. The lady on the phone responded, "Yeah, no. We are slammed today." OKAY, which is understandable. I call the following week and it's the same answer. I totally get it if they are busy but the fact that they wouldn't let me make an appointment for the next possible date available for a nail trim is upsetting. Aside from that she responded very rudely and bothered. I also wanted to look into daycare services, but at this point I don't feel comfortable with my dog being in this kind of environment. Won't be coming here at all.

So pleased with the grooming service my 6 month old Shih Tzu received today! I was blown away by the amazing cut he so desperately needed. I will definitely be taking him back here for his next groom.

Judy (owner) is amazing. I just went to her for the first time and she took my poodle that I hadn't groomed for like 4 months and made her look like the princess she is meant to be. Also pricing is reasonable. Definitely recommend her

Does a great job at a reasonable price

First time I brought my dog here I basically had to drag him in the door lol but every visit since he's the one dragging me through the door! He loves it here and I think the service and price is the best around. Look forward to many more visits for years to come! Highly recommended.

Just called to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances and the woman that answered had a complete negative attitude. She started to complain about bookings. When I originally made the appointment she was not friendly at all, she asked me to wait while she was conversing with others. I wanted to give this place a chance but after being treated the way I was treated that is a no! Instead of being understanding i was told that she will never book me again without a deposit, which mind you was never even explained to me when I originally booked. If this is how I am being treated I can’t imagine how my two small dogs would have been treated. I do not recommend this place at all!

My family was going out of town and kept our dog at this place for the weekend. Great service and our dog was happy. He was clean and healthy. We will go back again when we have a need. Great place.
