Second dog getting the tight rope surgery and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Everyone is so kind and patient. Highly recommend!

Our dog had two surgeries done by Dr Cook. He explained everything thoroughly before the procedures, and both surgeries went extremely well.

My guy had his rear legs repaired exactly one year apart. Very nice Dr.'s there, knowledgeable, explain everything they do. I highly recommend, my guy loves all the Dr's and ladies

Dr Cook and the staff are awesome! My Husky Kato suffered a complete tear of his CCL rear left leg leaving it unusable. Went with Dr Cook performing tightrope surgery after my vet suggested TPLO. Happy I did since all the complications that can arise from TPLO surgery aren't worth the risks in my opinion. Surgey was a complete success. He has no limp now and climbs stairs like he's two again- he's 9 and was 7.5 at time of sugery. It took about 6 months for total recovery but he was walking again shortly after surgery.

Dr. Cook operated on our Eddie for an ACL tear on April 6, 2021.Both Dr. Cook and his staff, esp Christy, were understanding, knowledgeable and thorough! Today, April 19, Eddie was seen for a recheck. The "tightrope" procedure remained tight, no infection....successful. It takes two months to fully heal, but we can gradually let up on restrictive behavior. I highly recommend Dr. Cook????????

Dr. Cook is so nice and seems to be an expert in torn canine CCLs. The "tightrope" method of surgery, which he has done over 1000, was much less invasive and our dog recovered quite well in a short amount of time. The staff are all extremely friendly and were able to get our dog in for surgery right away when there was at least a 5 week wait at other clinics.

We brought our cat here after she had an accident. Dr. Cook and all the techs were professional and friendly. Dr. Cook performed the FHO surgery and was very responsive before and after the surgery. Their price was comparatively reasonable. So far so good- I’ll update on my cat’s progress in a few months.

Dr. Cook is one of the most compassionate vets I have ever met. He truly cares about your animals well being and does everything in his power to help. I couldn’t be more grateful we found him!

After researching several places and getting 3 different opinions for a torn cruciate on my dog, I went with VVS and have no regrets whatsoever. After 1 week my dog is healing nicely. They treated her like my angel.which she is, and have been there every step of the way answering all of my questions in a pleasant professional manner. A++++ All the way. Minimal wait. Friendly staff. No interior service. Drive up, park, call them and tell them you are there. Appointments generally required. Prices are NOT getting less expensive.

The staff provides quality care for our dog & cats, with excellent loving support before & after the need for the animals final visit.

Switched to Valley Vet of St Charles solely because I have a 200 pound mastiff that had a seriously complicated ACL tear. My mom's friend from work recommended Dr. Cook because she had large dogs that had this history as well. I checked into a few other places and NO ONE could give me any potentially positive outlook, other than Dr. Cook!! He couldn't promise that Gatsby would be perfect after surgery but you could tell he was confident in his ability to make sure Gatsby was as close to perfect as possible. AND HE IS! Dr. Cook and his team did such an amazing job and Gatsby loves them. They know us both by name now and make any and all accommodations we need. We still continue to go here after we moved and it will ALWAYS be worth it! I would recommend to everyone <3

This isn’t your typical vet clinic. Every single person that works here goes above and beyond for you and your fur baby. They’re the kindest and most knowledgeable group of people that I’ve ever had to deal with. My 4 year old PitBull had to have her 2nd ACL surgery 4 days ago. The first one was an absolute success and she was running and playing in no time!! 2 years later we had to go in for her 2nd surgery and it’s going way better than expected and I cannot wait to have her playing again. Dr. Cook is the absolute best and I recommend him to anyone and everyone. If you’re trying to decide which vet is best for you and your pup I promise you will be so happy you went with Dr. Cook.

Dr. Cook and his assistants (Amanda and Christy) are very knowledgeable, friendly, and truly care about the well being of their patients. They perform a modern procedure which is specialized by only a few offices in the nation.

Nice office friendly staff OUTRAGIOUS CHARGES we brought our cat in they gave us an estimate of $355 which was fine we told them to proceed. They called to tell us what they had done and we could pick him up at 4:45 when we arrived they gave us a bill of $655 off the charts based on the estimate. They are there to rip you off BEWARE.
