Excellent and compassionate care! They even followed up with a phone call to see how my dog was!

My experience here was great. I was so nervous and distraught bringing my 3 month old puppy in for bleeding out his incision. I just got him one day ago I had no idea what was going on. They took very good care of him. They told me he has a very bad infection inside his body. They called me and explained all the steps I needed to take to insure he is getting better when he is home. They were very helpful. I just wanted to say thank you for being there at 1 am when my puppy needed help!

It is difficult to rate a place "loved it" given the circumstances. Duke you will be missed buddy. Watching you walk away I never thought it was goodbye. We will always remember you. I want to thank the Dr. I spoke with that night. I am sorry I did not get your name as my memory went when hearing in real time our Duke was passing. It was the hardest news I ever heard. Thank you for all you did.

Doctor Greenwood and her staff were absolutely amazing with my sweet Max. It was truly the worst night of my life but they made my baby comfortable in his last moments. They gave me enough time with him and treated him as though he was someone they loved too. Thank you.

Visited on Thursday night with my dog; great experience, everyone super helpful and kind. Follow up call on Friday; great experience, very kind and thoughtful, advised me to come back in a few days if dog was still exhibiting symptoms. Tonight, Monday, attempting to come back for a followup because I have continued concerns; terrible experience, likely not coming back. Whoever answered the phone around 705pm was extremely rude and unprofessional. I get you guys are swamped and it's stressful, but that's no reason for your nasty attitude. She kept cutting me off to interrupt me before I could finish my questions, gave me different instructions from what I was told on Thursday and Friday, and then bit my head off when I attempted to tell her the instructions I was already given on those previous visits, so we could figure out exactly what I should be doing. She kept snapping "well, I wasn't there to see your dog/I wasn't the one who followed up/I have no idea what medications and instructions they gave you." I get that, that's why I'm trying to tell you what they told me. She acted like she had zero way of finding out this information- do you not keep patient records? Why wouldn't you pull up this information right when you answered the phone? She was really condescending and acted like I was a huge inconvenience, and that's really upsetting when youre scared and asking for help. Not coming back.

Our cat had to be put to sleep, we are still sad but service was good considering. Cremation package could have been more, and paw print wasn’t even baked hard.

We brought our dog here around 4am Saturday morning after calling around 3am to ensure they had time for our dog. She was very sick but Susan, the nurse who answered the phone and took care of our dog, was very calm and genuinely sounded like she cared. This set our minds at ease especially when we were told our dog would have to spend the day and following night in their care. Susan and the rest of the staff were very informative about our dog and the care she was receiving. They called with updates and were happy to answer all of our questions. Susan and the rest of the staff at EVS made this scary experience much more bareable. Everyone one here was wonderful, especially Susan. We will definetely recommend them for emergency care and will be bring our pets back here if they need emergency care in the future. Thank you all for taking such good care of our girl.

For an emergency place I had an animal that needed help immediately and they wouldn’t help me so so much for good service.. they’re not the only ones though the Lisle location also wouldn’t help me with my animal and he had a terrible urinary infection.. False advertising I would say in both cases, 24 hour care yet they reject patients so…

My cat was really sick and all the emergency vets near me had over 6 hour wait times. EVS saw my cat right away for triage and ended up taking him in right away. My cat did end up passing but I felt like they truly cared.

A very different experience, again not not seeing an actual vet the person on the phone was kind and gave me other numbers to vets who could handle my emergency situation. Thank you!!!!

We had to put down our 13+ year old cat here a few weeks ago. Staff was kind and professional. Later they sent us a condolence card with personal note and signatures from the staff. We have the card next to our memorial for Peepee (Zeke) would give 10 stars if I could, thank you.

We have used EVS for end-of-life emergencies for 2 dogs and they were wonderful. Very sensitive and caring in highly emotional situations.

Been going here for 40 years with many pets. My 11 uear old lab just went through a scary surgery and the team was incredible. Dr Miles is unbelievably knowledgeable and spends his time making sure all questions are answered at any point throughout the surgery. Highly recommend Dr Miles and his team, Becky, Amanda, all the techs and front desk. Top notch service for both animal and human.

I brought my cat here at 3:30am on a Sunday morning because he was extremely lethargic and refusing to eat or drink, after he had been at our usual vet for a checkup not even 24 hours earlier. I was scared out of my mind and had no idea what to do or how to help him, especially at a time when most vets are closed. The staff here are SO professional. Susan and Dr. Marsia were both so kind and understanding of our situation and did an amazing job of both taking care of my cat and informing me about what was going on with him. When you have an emergency at that time of night, they give you the kind of experience you would want to have. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend bringing your pet here if you find yourself needed an emergency vet. Thank you!

Our dog lost a fight with a chain link fence and needed stitches in his ear. They took good care of him, and despite coming in on a Sunday, the cost was reasonable.

The staff at this emergency vet was absolutely fantastic. I woke up to my 3 month old puppy having a completely swollen shut left eye and called them basically in tears. They got me in as soon as I could drive there and were so kind and informative. I 10/10 would go to them again if I ever had another unfortunate need, and would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I'd just like to thank the staff that helped me through a really rough decision last night. These people are truly kind and really helped make the process as peaceful as possible. So glad we ended up here. 10/10 would recommend to anyone experiencing an emergency with their beloved furry family members.

I have had to use these guys multiple times and every time their services have been very professional and helped my animals immensely! I am very thankful that I have an emergency veterinarian so close to me that knows how to really take care of my critters.

When my dog scratched open a growth on his eye minutes after every pet store closed for the night, I needed somewhere to get an E-Collar until I could get him into the vet. They were helpful, affordable, very nice, and most importantly tonight: open!

We got in quickly after calling and our cat was evaluated promptly. We were asked about treatment options and given cost estimates. She was ready to return home less than 6 hours later. ER visits are expensive!

My dog was very ill. They treated him sent him home with lots of medication. I was a little shell shocked by the cost. But my dog is all better now and I would say it was worth every penny I spent. I was afraid I was going to loose him.

After contacting VCA Aurora about our dog that was having seizures and receiving terrible customer service and zero empathy, we brought him to EVS for overnight observation in between the hours our regular vet was open. The staff was everything one could ask for when going through such a difficult time with their pet. I highly recommend EVS but hope you never need them.

My little boy got attacked by another dog around 10 at night. They were able to take him in and patch him up. Did a great job and didn't scalp me on price.

I took my dog to this facility twice over the weekend. The first round, I experienced professionalism and compassion. The next day, the general staff were rude and also reported false information. It made a stressful situation worse than it needed to be. The doctor was professional and knowledgeable throughout. It is the closest animal hospital to me, so obviously it makes sense to go in an emergency situation. Just be aware that the staff are different for different shifts and unfortunately, you get what you get.

Literally had a panic attack as a pet sitter in the middle of a snow storm and these people were awesome, polite and professional. Went the extra mile to assure me he was better (dog Grady) and even gave me an extra little heads up to an ongoing eye issue! Other than that just amazing, fast all that.

I really appreciate how caring everyone was. We were worried about our dog and they reassured us that all will be ok.
