We have only good things to say about Gateway. Any doctor we have seen has been easy to talk to and work with. All the staff is friendly and efficient. So pleased HELP guided us to this clinic!

Gateway has cared for my dogs for 9 generations (30 years) with compassion and excellence.

I was very comfortable with staff and with the treatment that my senior Chihuahua received. Compassionate, non dramatic care. They absolutely did not try to run up a bill for no reason. I am very pleased with Gateway.

We have been going to Gateway Veterinary Clinic for approximately 30 years now. The staff are wonderful and have been extremely helpful and gracious throughout this entire pandemic. A special shout-out to Jenny, who, just yesterday, went beyond the call of duty to help me get some prescription dog food from an establishment that was being very difficult with me. She called this establishment and put everything I needed in motion. And I didn't even ask her to do so!! Bravo, Jenny, for your initiative and your effort on my behalf!

Could not ask for a more delightful Vet office! Everyone goes out of their way to make each visit positive & pleasant. Dr. Shannon Bianucci has been my kitty's Vet since moving from MN back to Illinois in 2009 -- She is very thorough & has helped me keep my 3 rescue cats healthy! (All 3 will be celebrating their 14 year birthdays this Oct.) She explains everything & is always ready to answer questions-- I cannot imagine going to any other Vet -- neither could my kitties! Dr. Hooper has just been extraordinary in helping my kitty Pearl recover from renal failure & my kitty Bennie from pancreatitis-- I might have lost Pearl... I cannot express how grateful I am to this Vet for her conscientious assessment & care of both my kitties suffering from such complex illnesses. I was a nervous wreck & she was incredibly patient with me... Could not ask for a better Veterinary clinic!!! Dr. Hooper has continued to provide the most extraordinary conscientious care of my kitties-- I am so grateful to this veterinary clinic for its high quality care & wonderful staff!!!

I have been taking my pups there for a decade. The staff is amazing. Most recently, our new puppy needed an earlier appointment and I knew it didn’t matter which dr we saw, as we have had nothing but amazing experiences with all of the vets there.

I highly recommend Gateway for your pet. The staff is very responsive and caring. When it came time to say goodbye to our beloved dog, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

Don't know how to rate, haven't been allowed inside, so we decided to move on.

Dr. Vlakancic is great!! Very communicative (better than some human docs I've dealt with), moreso than any vet I've worked with. She is very compassionate! Saw our injured dog the same day when several other vets told us we'd have to wait 2 to 3 weeks. Thanks Dr. V for fitting him into your busy schedule!! She offered several options for therapies that were very thoughtful of our budget concerns. The staff are very good too, very helpful and patient.

Best place to watch over your fur babies.

We have been going here for many years. The staff is amazing, however Dr. Kirk is not only amazing but his compassion for both, our pets and us humans, can not be more sincere. Truely, LOVE Him and His Clinic, Gateway Veterinary Clinic. God Bless.

Got a new puppy. These guys took the time to answer all my questions offered advice and developed a care plan for our new little guy. Friendly staff and Dr.s that seem to really care.

Every single person that is an employee is excellent...I've had nothing but great experiences. They recently helped me thru a dog with quick onset glocoma and one dog had passed on. They are kind and understanding that your pets mean the world to you. Kudos to leadership here, it a great place.

I'm new to town and have taken my old man dog and two cats here now. Very friendly, not super expensive and extremely knowledgeable. Won't be going anywhere else.

Wasn't happy when I took my dog here and they took x-rays, and couldn't find out why my dog was limping, gave me medicine and went on my way.unfornatley my dog passed away from blastomycosis several weeks later.after trying several other vets that had no idea about it, and where treating the limp rather then the fungal infection. Eventually found a vet at autumn greene but the infection was to far advanced.

I've been a long time client at Gateway, through several pets over the years. My dogs and cats and I have always received the same consistent high quality care, visit after visit. Everyone who works there, from the receptionist desk personnel to the techs to the vets, care about the animals they treat. They've helped us through a variety of health problems, always with compassion and professionality. Thank you, Gateway! I'm in it for the long haul.

We have been clients at Gateway for many years and would not want anyone else caring for our pets. Dr. K and Ellie (and many others on staff) recognize that our pets are our children and they treat them like that. We know that our fur kids are well-loved and cared for at Gateway.
