I love Roundlake Animal Hospital! Dr. Hafeez Loves GSD'S. He's been my veterinarian for years! I can't say enough good things about the excellent care that my German shepherd has had and continues to have. 5 stars!!

Veterinarians and staff are professional, answer all your question & concerns, and have helped me deal with having to put my pet to rest.

Nice place but they always take forever to see you. Appointment could be at 5pm and you’ll be sitting in the lobby for 30 min minimum then another 15 min in the actual examination room. Never go there if you need to be somewhere after you’ll be there for at least a couple of hours :/

I read the reviews after I brought my dog here and the one stars review are the ones I believe. I brought my dog in because she was having breathing issues and she wouldn’t eat. Turned out it was lung fungus. The doctor here told us it was either lung cancer or the lung fungus. And they told us that we could try chemo on our dog but that she would suffer and that even then she wouldn’t make it. Or we could put her down because there wasn’t anything we could do for the lung fungus. Thank god we got a second opinion. We got her medicine from another hospital and she’s still here with us. Healthy ALIVE and happy. I really don’t recommend this place

I specifically like this vet because they always have an upbeat staff and their doctors are very kind hearted and understanding. They will work with you even from a distance! Say u bring

Fantastic care and affordable considering the cost for some other vets in lake county. I will drive 20 mins to go to them.

Parking is awful. Receptionists are running around. The only Dr. I will allow to see my chihuahua is Dr. Hafeez and he is the only reason I keep going back. I went into more detail on their Facebook page of past experiences.

My only vet for over 15 years. Love Dr Hafeez. He's a brilliant vet!

Took my dog in to get an ultrasound for pregnancy and the vet told me she wasn’t pregnant that she had heart burn. All they cared about was about the money. 15 days later my dog gave birth . They charged me $500 and told me she wasn’t pregnant and she actually was . I called and told them how she had babies and they told me she wasn’t pregnant and they didn’t even care .

Had to wait a good 45 minutes but it was worth it!! Super friendly staff and vet!! Thank you!!

Dr. Hefeez is the best Veterinarian ever. He is kind and compassionate and always has the best interests of the fur babies fist place.

Love this practice! Dr Hafeez is fantastic and they always squeeze in emergencies. Very clean facility, lots of friendly staff... only issue is the parking, but that's because there are multiple doctors who are fantastic!

This place is amazing. We took our dog to another place and they were packed so they referred us to Round Lake Animal Hospital and they got us in even though they were pack. Great doctor, and front desk girls. Thank God my dog is ok.

Round Lake Animal Hospital will take care of your pets with a ton of tenderness and compassion, they will treat them as their own and treat you like family. They handle every situation with appropriate urgency for the need. The staff is highly knowledgeable, provide great service, and give good recommendations for continuous pet care. The premises is maintained very clean for people and animal health.

My friend had a dog with 8 puppies in her. One was hanging out, she needed to give birth. They brought her to the hospital and they said she needs an emergency c-section. They refused to touch the dog until he gave them 3500 dollars. He left the money in waukegan, about 25 min away. Now if he went back that's an hour total. He went to go get it and when he was out all the puppies in the womb died. Apparently the womb got inside out. This was an emergency and u guys decided that money was more important than saving those puppies. Then they wanted him to sign a paper so they can kill the dog. He did not want to see that and left without signing the papers. This is absolutely disgusting for an animal hospital to do this. Everybody I recommend the wonderful animal hospital in mchenry, clearly the round Lake one doesn't have ur pets best interests in hand without money first. Smh

My dog wasn't feeling well and I called many vets in the area and no one could get him in. Round Lake was able to get him in right away even though they were busy. The young lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. We did get very bad news and everyone there was very kind and compassionate.

We were new to the area and finding a new pet appointment was hard due to the pandemic. We made an appointment months out with a different vet who then "didn't see us on the schedule" when the appointment day came. Our pets needed their medicine, vaccinations, and annual appointment. Round Lake was very understanding and got us in. We have been multiple times since, with an emergency appointment mixed in. The vets are all very nice and understanding and take the time to answer all of my questions. Sometimes there might be a wait, but it is worth it for the level of service. Other vets told us our dogs cough was nothing or since he didn't do it in front of them they couldn't say what it was. Round Lake took an x-ray as a precaution and was able to diagnose our dog. Very grateful to have them.

Amazing staff. Very kind and patient. Took the time to hear my concerns. From the front desk to the Vet, all perform above and beyond the standards. So glad I moved around here and they are my local animal hospital.

Terrible experience!!! We had a new patient appointment for our new puppy for 5:00 on October 12. When we got there it was extremely busy and we put our name on the list. We understood it was busy and tried to be patient. We waited an hour without anyone saying they were sorry or explaining the situation. Finally, I went up to ask the receptionist when our turn was and she said we were next in about 10-15 minutes. I sit back down and 10 minutes later she brings a new patient form out to me saying we need to fill it out - not sure why it wasn’t given to me immediately and I could have had it done in 1 minute at the beginning. As I’m filling out the paperwork, one of the ladies comes out and looks at my paper and then called TWO other pets besides us. I immediately asked why we weren’t called when we were told it was our turn and Nikki said they were busy and I had to put my name on the list. I told her I had and then she said oh they were getting the room ready. I said we were skipped over because I was filling out the paper. I asked why I wasn’t given the paper in the last hour and 20 minutes I was waiting and Nikki said “well I’m sorry we don’t give everyone the form.” Ummm???? THATS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE PLACE. At this point, we left. Bottom line is this place is extremely unorganized, rude, and not worth the two hours we wasted. We were never assured they were working hard to get to everyone and the employees were running around like chickens with their heads cut off with a total lack of communication. I do not recommend this place AT ALL.

Expensive and you get a day old readings

Our sincere Thanks to Dr Hafeez & his staff. On a pet parents worst day you were all very supportive, helpful and compassionate. We lost our 2 furbabies in one day and you all helped to make it as gentle & peaceful as it could possibly be. We simply can't Thank you all enough.

Just recently started taking my two dogs here. I've had a really great experience every time. The front desk staff is awesome. I like the vet a lot too. The facility is really nice and clean.

Clean. Spacious. Seems to always be over booked, always a very long wait.
