Got us in right away when our boy was limping and although they were busy right after a holiday they never made us feel rushed or anything. We love this place and feel so comfortable with them. Best vet we've ever gone to to be honest ????

They listen carefully, ask good questions, and are always very helpful.

When it comes to care for either of our dogs, Perryville Pet Hospital has always hit the mark in providing what was needed. Our questions are always answered allowing us to know what we need to do at home to help continue the treatment. That is very important to us.

We have taken our dogs to 3 different clinics over the past 14 years - the first was total garbage, the second was better at first, then declined over the years. Then we found Perryville Pet Hospital. The level of compassion is incredible, from the amazing support staff to the devoted vets. It's no wonder they are consistently voted the best clinic in Rockford. The vets take their time with you, answering all your questions and making sure you understand what's going on with your pet - the support staff is personable, warm, and helpful. I love that they call to check on your pet if there is an issue - they truly care about their patients here. Unlike some clinics where you dread getting the smug vet who dismisses all your questions or the one who just isn't as good as the others, all 3 doctors at PPH - Kramer, Guedet, and Verace, are top notch, caring and patient and outstanding vets all around. I cannot say enough good about this place and I'm so glad we finally found it!!! I only wish we hadn't wasted our time other places.

I'm so appreciative of how Perryville Pet Hospital has taken the initiative to work directly with UW Madison doctors where my baby was seen before. And I can just tell the team at PPH really cares!

The team here is awesome they actually care about the animals. It may be a little more pricey but you get what you pay for. I've never had a bad experience and both vet's will talk to you and answer all of your questions thoroughly. I've never felt rushed and I always feel like I got the best service possible when I leave. Not to mention my pup like the staff too.

The team of the clinic is working very efficiently and harmoniously. They are all very attentive and polite. Everyone I met in this clinic made a very good impression on me. I was very pleasantly surprised that Dr. Kelli Kramer remembered all the details about my cat, even though a lot of time had passed since my last visit. I also observed and liked her conservative and detailed approach to treatment for my cat.

Highest quality vet care in the area. They got my dog in promptly to be seen for a broken tail and the vet sat down with us for a long time discussing all our questions and concerns. He was comprehensive and discussed all our health concerns at length not even just the broken tail. I am amazed at the time spent as well as how thorough he was in explaining everything and answering questions. Great price too! Thank you perryville pet hospital!

Complete and rare professionalism demonstrated by Dr. Guedet and all members of the team! Impressive Covid-19 precautions implemented including a pager system alerting you when it is okay to leave the exam room to go to lobby to pay/schedule next visit, when there are no other clients in the reception area. Love the time taken by Dr. Guedet to fully explain my pup's diagnosis. Dr. Guedet emailed me the anxiously awaited results from my pup's lab test in the early morning hours on a Saturday! I was able to enjoy the weekend knowing my Olive was all good! Thank you, Perryville Pet!

I've only had two puppy visits but the vets are very responsive and open to discussion. The desk staff are friendly and my puppy loves her tech! I really appreciate the intake process of calling and then waiting in the car until the room and tech are ready. I've had very bad experiences with a waiting room full of animals.

We, me and Lizzy are very happy with Perryville Vet. Everyone is especially nice, informative, helpful and there for you. Your facility itself is extra clean and I like the sides of the waiting areas separated for dogs and cats. Dr. Guedet is the best and we prefer seeing him. Thank you Dr. Guedet for taking care of my kids and helping me through those sad times.

Perryville Pet Hospital is awesome! When my new puppy had an ear infection & was not eating or drinking & just laying around, (which is not like her at all), they got her in a.s.a.p., even though I was a brand new client. Prescribed her medicine, & she was doing 90% better that same night. I'd recommend them to everyone looking for a vet. Thank you all at Perryville Pet Hospital!

I have been with PPH since 2005, that’s when we moved to Poplar Grove from Fox River Grove. It was Kent, from Meyers Tails Up Farm who recommended my Mia be seen by Dr. Yocum. We never left after that! I have had only one bad experience and that was with Britt DVM (I think that’s how her name was spelled). Dr. Yocum had left to work at the Emergency Clinic in Rockford. I was going to change. However, when Mia’s annual appointment was due, Brit had left the practice!!!! My Mia was then being seen by Dr. Verace! What can I possibly say about how wonderful she is, god love her❤️! Then, Dr. Geudet entered the picture. My first meeting with him was an emergency situation with my Mia. I was at the door at PPH at 7:30am. He saved my Mia’s life. BTW, Mia was a very special Golden Retriever????❤️????! In the end, she needed an emergency splenectomy! It was Dr. Geudet’s who performed this life saving splenectomy! Then, Dr. Geudet was there again saving her life - she developed skin cancer on her nose and Dr. Guedet removed it all and she went on to live a happy life of never ending love????❤️????! She lived 13 years and 4 1/2 months????❤️????! What else needs to be said about PPH, they are AWESOME! They all love what they do! Add to that, they actually CARE! These days it seems like no one cares about anything except themselves! My Sophia, and her sister Gia, (which is the same kennel I found my Mia), both Goldens with the same parents but different litters, are so fortunate to be under the loving care of the entire staff of PPH????❤️????????!
