I'm not exaggerating when I say Dr. Lane and the entire staff of Plainfield Veterinary Clinic saved our cat's life. Our newly adopted cat, Toby, refused to eat. Dry food, wet food, gravy, treats, chicken, tuna, baby food - nothing stuck. Appetite enhancers weren't effective. Blood tests, urine samples, ultrasound all came back normal. Unfortunately, Toby continued to deteriorate. He got to the point where he was taking his last breaths on his 9th life. It was death's doorstep. We said our goodbyes and prepared for the worst. We brought him back to the vet for what we feared was the last time. In a last ditch effort, Dr. Lane suggested she put in a feeding tube. Anesthesia was risky, especially with his poor health, but it was the best chance he had. He survived. And in the weeks since, Toby's become more active, weighs more than his first visit, and even eats real cat food! He's becoming a normal cat. Throughout the past several weeks, Dr. Lane has frequently stayed after hours, texted us on her days off, and even gave us her personal number in case of an emergency. Multiple times she had us leave him there all day so she could care for him throughout the day. She's made it her mission to save this cat. Without her, Toby would not be here today. Everyone at Plainfield vet clinic has been incredibly helpful throughout this entire process. They've often fit us into the schedule last minute and have been super accommodating with everything. The front desk, the techs - everyone we interact with, truly care about the animals in their care. And we are so thankful for the effort everyone has put in to save Toby's life. Long story short, if you're reading this looking for a vet clinic - you found it.

Was terrified about not knowing that I’m at the time you could not go in with your animal they proven to be a great veterinarian clinic and that they do care about the animals and overall they are very fairly priced we have no fear or problem going back to them other than they do not take appointments because they are more of an emergency clinic would highly recommend them though

Left message and also filled out information for an appointment for my guinea pigs. Never received a response or anything. If this is the way they treat people I can only imagine how they treat pets. Tried for 2 weeks to get appointment. Found a quality vet

Currently taking walk ins only, which is exactly what I was needing. I was bringing in a stray cat and we could not commit to an appointment time since we needed to catch him on his own schedule. There was a several hours wait, we arrived just after 8pm and was back home at 1130pm. We were told there would be a 4/5 hour wait, so we were actually seen and released ahead of schedule. Communication was fabulous, vet care was outstanding and customer service was top notch! The only ouch was the price. I know it was after hours, but yikes! The clinic was upfront about after hours fees, so I knew it would be pricey, but peace of mind is priceless so I guess that is what I paid for. Overall great experience.

My dog suffered a neurological injury and they took such good care of her!

Very polite and attentive...was busy but they were worth the wait..treated both my dogs quickly when it was our turn and both came out happy as could be and will definitely go back regularly

I can't say enough about Dr.Sarah Lane & how well she took care of my schnauzer, Shadow. She treated him like family & put him at ease. He was completely calm (for a schnauzer) & absolutely loved her. I intend to keep the clinic & doctor, for many years to come. The whole staff, from the time you walk through the door, til you leave was great. Their prices are affordable too. I intend to try their "in-house" groom next month.

We needed our pup looked at asap and you guys came though for us. The Plainfield Veterinary Clinic is now the only place we will bring our pets.

Vet was nice, but staff especially office manager, less then professional.

I absolutely love this vet. With me owning pet rats it is extremely hard for me to find a very good vet that is experienced in such pets. This place was amazing and very knowledgeable with my little creatures and we're very caring. Their prices are extremely good some of the lowest I've been able to find for exotic pets. The doctors are extremely nice and knowledgeable. I will be keeping this as my main veterinarian office. And the best thing about this place as that they do walk ins which I have never seen another veterinarian office do. Every other veterinarian office I had to wait days to get in when I had an emergency and my pets would end up dying before I can even get an appointment. But here I was able to walk in the same day with a major emergency with one of my pets and I was able to get him on the meds ASAP and he actually survived on like all my other ones that had to wait almost a week. This place is amazing

The staff is very nice, and so is the dr, they helped us when we had to put my golden retriever to rest

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Thor, our 14 year old Yellow lab, was not eating and could barely drink water when we squeezed it out in his mouth. They took us that day to take him out of his pain. It was so difficult for us but the way the vet did it was so humane.

Dr. Blaso had been our go to Vet for years until a new clinic opened up closer to our home. When it came time to say goodbye to our Golden due to age and health reasons the "new" vet refused to allow us to be present (COVID) so I called Dr. Blaso's office. They were wonderful. They allowed us in (masked) took the time to talk to us before and after the procedure. Their compassionate manner and professionalism made a terrible day bearable. Sorry I ever left them for a more convenient location. Dr. Blaso and his team exemplify how you and your pet should be treated.

Every person i interacted with, whether over the phone or in person, was very nice, very sympathetic to our situation and did their best to ease our sad day. And i am very grateful for that. Very kind staff and Dr.

Stop by for a quick walk today visiting my parents spent a lifetime in these words thankful for the opportunity to have a little bit of nature. I could only imagine with this area was like in the 1840s

I’ve been bringing my cats to Dr. Blaso for 17 years. At every visit, well and sick, he was very compassionate and understanding of our pets needs. Having lost 4 cats over the past 17 years, Dr. Blaso went above and beyond to get my family through such a very tough time in our lives. We’ve adopted and rescued a few more cats and we will continue to have Dr. Blaso treat them. He’s very passionate about what he does and we definitely recommend him.

This was my first visit with my pet and the receptionist charged my credit card for the wrong services. They charged me before my dog even had the services performed. After arguing about this with two people, they credited me back for the inconvenience.

I called Plainfield Veterinary Clinic for a second opinion on my dog. They made an appointment for the very next day. Everyone was so patient, kind, and great with my dog. When I was looking for another vet, I did a google search and Plainfield Veterinary Clinic came up. I called because of all the wonderful reviews they had. They did not disappoint! I wish I knew about them sooner! They will now be the place we take our dog from now on. The doctor took so much time with us and we appreciate all they did!

First time here! Went in because my dogs dew claw broke and my original vet was closed. They removed it and didn’t give me unnecessary meds, just told me what to look out for. What made my day was they gave my dog a nail trim without sedation! Something that has never happened without it. Thankyou!!

They are very friendly. Appointments are done easily unlike other clinics. I used to go to a different clinic for my dog, but since Covid-19 came, it was hard to get any Appointments. However , I was able do it with Plainfield vet clinic. I will stay with them
