Well done steak was hard and black on bottom and i always get well done and never was hard and burnt. Onion blossom I almost chocked. They didn't take the outer layer of skin off so when they deep fried it the outer part was like paper so they replaced it but we already had out food so they made it to go and it was half the size. Watress that day never came back to give us a 2nd refill til we finally saw her as we were just about finished with out meal.

Dr Kuhn is awesome!! She saved Skeeter’s life three times. She diagnosed him with diabetes and got him on the correct medicines to give him three more quality years of life. Then came Jasper and they have a special bond from the day I picked him up to now. Erin is hands down the best groomer!! Doggy daycare is Jasper’s favorite! Now, Jazzie who is a typical tortie is not good with anyone but her brother Jasper or momma but thinks Doc is ok. Dr Kuhn goes above and beyond the call of duty. She was able to stitch Jasper’s paw up quickly in an emergency. When, he let out a blood curdling Yelp, she got him in right away to diagnose him with a crucial cranial torn ligament. Do not hesitate to bring your fur children here!!

Always super kind, love dealing with people who talk to my pets before they talk to me. Pets come first as they should here.

Great groomer. Tracy was a friendly and competent front desk person. Downhill since she left.. Now its like robot calling. No one seems to know.the client nor care. Changed to a more people friendly vet.

I had a terrible experience i have ever seen. Terrible stuff ,terrible service. They have no idea what is veterinary medicine. I’m 32 years old i had cats in my whole life. I found them to grooming for my cat they didn’t finish and they charged me. Lady on phone was so rude. If you like your animals stay away from this “animal hospital!!!!!” .

Great vet, reasonable prices. Easy to get an appointment. Dr. Kuhn really loves what she does and it shows.

These guys are the best!! They really take the time to tell you what's going on and explain any questions you may have. They offer a lot of good services. Even if I move towns I will continue to take my pets here! Keep it up guys!

I cannot stress enough how amazing Dr. Kuhn and her staff are at Prairie Animal Hospital. I was referred to Prairie Animal Hospital about 5 years ago when I first moved to Illinois and my Frenchie had a bladder infection. I have always felt the deepest and most genuine compassion, empathy, and care from all the staff when it comes to the care of my pups. 2020 has been very difficult for individuals and families due to COVID 19, and my greatest appreciation will forever be that Dr. Kuhn allowed my daughter and I to be there in person with my Frenchie, who was my “soul animal” that I had for over 12 years, when we had to humanely put her down. My greatest fear running through my mind when I knew things were not good for my pup was that she would die alone without us being there next to her because of COVID restrictions. Thank you Dr. Kuhn and staff at Prairie Animal Hospital for the compassion and love you all shared during a very difficult moment for our family and all the moments prior to that as well.

We have been with PAH since the start and absolutely love this place. They have a super friendly team, accommodating scheduling and incredible love for my pups. Now that they have grooming, I will never need to look anywhere else but PAH for the overall care of my fur babies.

I had been going to another vet for years and years. I didn't realize what I wasn't getting from my former vet. This vet is funny, kind, courteous and caring. It's not just about money here. They truly care for your pet. They don't talk down to you and explain everything. And they don't shame you when you say no to services due to money issues. And it's not just Dr Kuhn, the rest of the staff is fabulous as well. The best!

Please read before taking your pet to Praire Animal Hospital! My ferret Frank was vomiting and dry heaving so I took him in to be examined and treated. After bringing him to Praire Animal hospital they determined he would need emergency surgery or he would not make it. After further discussion I was told told the surgery would cost around $1000. I only had $300 of the $1000 and was denied care credit due to low credit score and being laid off recently in the midst of the pandemic that is currently underway. Praire animal hospital would not perform emergency surgery because I only had $300 of the $1000 needed for the surgery and would not allow me to do a payment plan. Not only did they not move forward with the surgery, they did absolutely nothing to help improve his condition. They did offer to euthanize my Frank free of charge because he was surely going to die without the surgery! When I dropped him off he was moving around fine but just dry heaving periodically, by the time I picked him up he could barely move and was declining rapidly. I took him out to Rescue Heart on Broadway in Pekin and they had to immediately give him fluids and medicine because of how sick and dehydrated he was. After reviewing some xrays Rescue Heart could not see anything on the xrays stuck in his intestines that would merit a surgery so they decided to just give Frank subcutaneous fluids and reevaluate in the morning. The next morning Frank was back to his normal self and didn't even need surgery! To think that Praire Animal Hospital wanted to euthanize my Frank because I didn't have the $1000 for surgery and them not really even needing surgery makes me absolutely disgusted! Prairie Animal Hospital is open only to make money and not because they care for animals! Avoid this place like Covid-19! Absolutely disgusting!

We love Prairie Animal Hospital and the staff. Dr. Kuhn is very knowledgeable and she's great with our dogs and cat. The receptionists are always so friendly and someone always gets back to me right away to schedule an appointment.

I love Prairie Animal Hospital. The staff is very fun and professional. They really do love animals and will make your pets will being/health their first priority, plus they like to play with pets so my dogs love going there. First Vet office my dogs are actually excited to visit ????

The staff is so professional and caring. My dogs are always at ease here. When one of my dogs was ill and passed they were all so caring. Please try the new groomer, she is wonderful.

Friendly, flexible, and compassionate care

Kept trying to charge me for things I didn’t ask for and told I did not want. Gave me the wrong prices for services and wouldn’t change them. Extremely expensive and will try to get as much money out of you. Vet had a negative attitude about money both times I have talked to her.

Can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. My GSD has some “issues” and they still welcome us with open arms. I drive about 35 minutes because I feel like this place is the best fit for us.

Prairie animal hospital is amazing! I have a fur baby who needs a lot of medical attention and Dr Kuhn has been great! My dog loves everyone at the office! They all are TRUE animal lovers here and it shows!

What can I say about this clinic. Nothing bad that is for sure! We moved to Peoria last year and were in need of a vet clinic for our cats. I found them online and saw all the great reviews and that's how I made the best decision for my pets. Dr. Kuhn has been the vet who works with us and she has been phenomenal in treating my cats and taking care of us. The assistants are all wonderful and extremely sweet as well. If you're looking for a place who cares about your furry family member I highly recommend the staff at Prairie Animal Hospital!
