Touhy Animal Hospital Park Ridge, Illinois

We have been taking Lola our 3yo Cane Corso there for the last year and our experience has been unbelievable. Lola recently came down with bad Diarrhea, and without having me drag her in they were able to assess symptoms over the phone and prescribe an antibiotic same day. Any other vet would have required that I bring her in for an exam and taken my money but not this place. Also, they followed up EVERYDAY via text or phone call to check in on details regarding Lolas healing until she was back to 100% and even made it a point to check in Saturday to see if I need any adjustment to treatment since they are closer Sunday. I am in complete awe of this place. Thank you team!

Called on Friday because I noticed my dog cracked her canine tooth. I explained my full situation and they said they handle cracked teeth just fine, I reiterated that it was the big canine tooth and they repeated to come on in Monday. Well it’s Monday and I lost $65 just for them to tell me they can’t handle cracked canine teeth. Then they did a google search for another location - I didn’t even get a professional referral just a google page search printout. Rating 3 stars because my situation isn't fixed and I'm down $65.

Im not sure who I spoke with but i called to try and make an appointment and felt very rushed by the lady at the front desk she sounded like she had an attitude i was trying to figure out a day that i could come in as a new patient i was having struggles trying to pull a calendar up on my phone and said this is irritating meaning my phone not the call and she just hung the phone up and when i told her i get paid every two weeks and when i last got paid was she gave me a date that wouldn’t work for me because it was before my next paycheck i was referred here by another vet i dont think i will ever go there for an appointment after this interaction on the phone very poor customer service

I love the team here. Everyone I've spoken to has been helpful, informed, and clearly loves their jobs. They remember me and all my dogs. They are also always patient with them when they need it.

TAH is great. Our dog and cat both do very well there, and they take such great care. Even with COVID curbside appointments, everything is very professional. The vet always takes time to explain everything to us to make sure we understand, and our animals aren't full of anxiety while we are there. Thumbs up from Doughnut, Hei Bai, and all of the humans at our house, too!

When I asked for help, the front desk clerk Sylvia lied to me that there is no special deals on their services. After I found out that the new clients have the first visit free, she refused to acknowledge the fact and made me pay 215 dollars for two dogs visit. Sylvia also refused to let me talk to their manager or to the doctor. I am a very unhappy customer. Because of her actions I will not recommend the Touhy Animal Hospital to anyone. Sylvia could care less about costumers and their satisfaction.

They pulled 11 teeth out of our huskys mouth. Bill was very fair as far as I was concerned. They are friendly and kind.
