We have used Northern Illinois Cat Clinic for several years. They are a wonderful place that shows a lot of love for cats. We have also boarded our cats there and have been very satisfied. Dr. Miller is a very caring and compassionate provider, and all of the technicians are as well. We highly recommend this practice

I have taken my cats to Northern Illinois Cat Clinic since 1996. Three of the five cats I have had were or are patients of Dr. Miller. As a health care provider myself, I appreciate the strong clinical presence and professional conduct of the doctors and staff. You are in good hands.

I took my cats to the Northern Illinois Cat Clinic for 20 years. Most recently my cat suffered from several serious illnesses and required frequent veterinary intervention. Everyone on the staff are caring and compassionate. We have moved out of the area and I wish I could find a clinic like theirs in our new location.

I've been taking my cats to Northern Illinois Cat Clinic since 2006. Drs. Miller and Schmidt have treated my four cats for numerous conditions and routine care. I appreciate having a clinic that is cat-exclusive. One of our cats has been treated for t-cell lymphoma for three years, another has serious dental issues, a third has chronic eye issues, and the fourth is generally healthy, but is VERY difficult to handle. The techs are warm, friendly and very skilled, and the vets are thorough, knowledgeable and take time to explain procedures and options. Yes, the care is expensive, but the vets and staff respect decisions made by the pet parent, and I have never felt pressured by a sales pitch from anyone. Unlike other veterinary clinics, I have been able to go into the examining room with my cats for every single visit during the COVID restrictions, which I appreciate. At this vet, you pay for the best care for your cats, and you receive the best care.

I love the amount of time the doctor spends with our cats and the thorough explanations. It is a bit pricier than other vets, but you pay for what you get. The techs are also wonderful. They put my cats at ease.

The ladies there were really nice and comforting the pets!! I was nervous taking my kitties to get an exam and vaccinations!! But it is expensive so I’ll have to look for a different vet :)

My cat family has been using Northern IL Cat Clinic for many years. I would not go anywhere else. They have taken exceptional care of my cats with a loving environment that always puts the cats' needs and welfare first. My current cats are very fearful and it is impossible to get them into their carriers. The clinic provided door to door service as they knew that would be easier on the cats and on me. They are outstanding!!!

Been visiting NICC for 7 of my cats for at least 20 years. I trust these doctors and their staff with my furbabies. Their compassion and knowledge have helped me to keep the kitties healthy and happy. I would never entrust my cats with anyone else.

They are extremely thorough and I know that my kitties are getting the best care that they can have. Everyone is very kind and helpful. They even fill out and send in my receipts for veterinary insurance. (Thanks to Nicole)

KEPT MY DEPOSIT DURING COVID 19.....I made an appointment for my sick cat who's been to so many vets, so I thought trying a purely cat place might be better. I made an appointment before the stay at home order, which they took a deposit for. Then I lost my job, the virus happened, and my cat is immune suppressed. So when I tried to cancel the appointment and get a refund, I was then told it was non-refundable! (which they never disclosed when I made the deposit) This is horrible customer service to keep peoples money during a pandemic and I will never go there.

The doctors and staff at northern Illinois cat clinic are fantastic. Our cats get so much care and attention every time we go. And the offices are so nice for cats. It's calm, comfortable, no barking dogs to worry about, and that makes each visit a lot easier on the cats and us cat parents, too.

Dr. Miller is wonderful; she cares for her feline patients as if they were her own. Thank you for dedicating your expertise and professional career to cats (I love that about this clinic). And the technicians are true professionals too!

The best cat veterinarian in the area! We took out baby girl there when she was diagnosed with diabetes and Dr. Miller was fantastic! She helped us so much and we will be forever grateful for everything her and her team did for us. Fantastic team!

Northern Illinois Cat Clinic was able to help me stabilize my medically fragile cat while we were traveling. They are incredibly knowledgeable and focus on identifying the underlying causes of illness instead of just treating symptoms as they arise. The catch--this expertise comes with a price tag. Don't be afraid to ask the vet to spell out which diagnostic tests are essential and which would be "nice to know." That being said, would you rather run to a low-value vet every time your chronically ill cat has a crisis, or pay a little more up front to control the disease, minimize future symptoms, and maybe even prolong the life of your cat? I know what I'd do.

If only human healthcare could be so competent, focused, compassionate, and thorough.

If you care about your kitties like we do and want specialization in cats, this is a good place to go. Although the bills add up quite fast and there’s a lot of calls to sell you more services.

Dr. Schmidt is amazing! All of the techs are very kind as well. They always make me feel at home. A little pricey but it's the service that keeps me coming back. They are always very understanding when I have to skip on certain tests due to my budget and are very transparent about what's super urgent vs. what can wait until next time. As someone who has been guilted into spending money I didn't have on useless treatments I really appreciate a vet that cares about me and about my cats well being.

My cat Snickers was fighting cancer and we knew we didn’t have much time with her. The vets and staff did a wonderful job trying to make her as comfortable as possible during this time. When we did have to say goodbye, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to do so. It was very sad, but also very calm and peaceful. I’ll never forget the vet telling us how beautiful our baby was, even in death. They also mailed us a card signed by the vets and staff with their condolences.

The best veterinary office I’ve ever used. I love bringing my cats here where there are no other animal sounds or smells. The staff are so loving and caring of our pets they treat them as their own. So glad I found this practice.

The staff here has always been extremely, EXTREMELY kind and courteous when it came to my cats or my visit. Although they might not be the cheapest vet in town, they do give you peace of mind knowing the 100% percent condition of your kitten/cat. Every test they have given my cat/s has been explained to the smallest detail and i have always been given a follow up call to ask if i had any questions or concerns. This place has my 100% recommendation, 15/10 for service.

I would highly recommend this office if you have a timid kitty. This office knows cats! The office is quiet and calm and Dr. Miller has a sweet gentle demeanor with our kitty.
