VCA Worth Animal Hospital Palos Hills, Illinois

The care we received at this location tonight was truly phenomenal. Our dog, Tink, was having an allergic reaction, and in complete panic, we walked into VCA Worth with less than an hour before they we’re supposed to close. The staff didn’t even bat an eye. In fact, every single staff member was extremely kind and friendly. While we waited for the front desk to finish with the patient ahead of us, one of the vet tech’s saw us waiting and offered to take Tink back to get an exam started before we even checked in. Dr. Nowak was the veterinarian who offered to help us and treat Tink. She was kind and professional, even checked up on Tink once we got home. We know we were a complete inconvenience at what was probably an already long work day, and could have easily been turned away, but Dr. Nowak and her staff chose to take care of us and never once made us feel unwelcome. I cannot even begin to explain how much that meant to us. Thank you all so very much.

Dr.Cory has always been amazing with my dogs. Also the staff was wonderful helping me with a stray calico kitten get healthy and find a loving forever home.

I had an 8:30am appointment for my cat, Scout. When I arrived at my appointment time. The team informed me that my appointment was cancelled. I had received a detailed confirmation email the night before. I took the morning off of work to make this appointment. I also spent 15 minutes wrangling my animal into its carrier. It saddens me that an animal hospital could treat their clients this way.

Dr. Loxtercamp went above and beyond to help our family during a terrible time. His care of our critters was outstanding.

The customer service was surprisingly awful. My Pups appointment was for 930am 5/18/21. I was instructed to call once I was in the parking lot. I arrived about 10 minutes early and began calling. The line was busy, busy, busy, not answered and busy again. I walked to the door twice where I made eye contact with two women at the front desk. I was never acknowledged. So about 940 I get an answer where I was told someone would call me back. Someone called to tell me I was to late for my appointment and had to reschedule. Although I'd been there 30 minutes at this point. It was 100 percent there fault. And no one gave a sh@t. I wish I could post a picture of my calls id glady show the rude place at VCA though

I cannot thank the staff enough for what they did for me and my cockatiel this evening. I wish I would have gotten the names of the two techs, a man and woman, who went above and beyond to help after I noticed a hair wrapped tightly around my tiel's finger. After I called over 10 er vets near and far, they were the only ones available to help. They unwrapped the hair in a minute and stuck around to make sure he was OK, even after hours. I'm a firm believer that God sprinkles people throughout our lives to reinforce the idea that amazing, caring people do still exist and today was my reinforcement. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart.

Only giving this a two because their phone has not been working and cannot contact them at all? Also, VCA is super informative as the up front workers were super sweet and helpful. The doctor gave me loads of information that I kind of got lost while she was talking. The only downside of this place is that it’s super expensive for the average consumer.

Everyone is always pleasant and informative.

The hospital was wonderful.and the staff was the best very kind and helpful.my visit was a sad one.my dog passed away.but again they helped me so fast and dida great it made the worst day of my life alittle easier.thank you so much.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. My little dog had a seizure and I called them to ask them to see her because she wasn't responsive. They tried scheduling an appointment 3 days away despite my telling them that my dog was unconscious. My little fur baby passed away 3 hours later. When I asked the vet that treated her if time would have made a difference, he stated it definitely would have.

They are very caring. My dog is always well cared for. They treat all the animals like their own.

I'm so glad I decided to give this place a go. I took in a stray cat and was looking to find a place with affordable care since my cat needed a lot of work done. Not only did I find affordable care , but staff that are so informative and loving toward my pet. Dr.Crystal McNamee is AMAZING. She is the only one we go to for my kitty Sox. He hates car rides and is stressed the whole car ride there but he is so laid back for her and she makes him feel so safe and comfortable. She takes the time to answer all my questions and hear my concerns. Highly recommend this place and this doctor . The care club plan is very beneficial !

Dr. Lihosit was amazing. She answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. The entire staff was fabulous. I'm taking all of my babies there.

First time there, so far so good. Even during Covid-19 restrictions, I was able to to all with the Dr and staff. All of my questions answered, didn't feel rushed.

Unfortunately my little dog (23lbs) fell out of the car right on his face. He broke a couple of teeth, they had to be removed. BTW he still had his dew claws. So since he was under going surgery, the dew claws were taken out, stitched and wrapped. I thought everything was coming along well. When I brought the dog in to have his bandages changed, they take the dog into another room, this seems to be the norm nowadays. I would prefer to let the dog stay with me.

They are my ????'s! My 20+ year cat Ava wouldn't have made through the night if it wasn't for them! They were booked up for a month. She put me on the waiting list. Within a couple of hours they called with a cancelation. Ava is recovery and still here!! Thank you VCA!!!

Brought my sick cat in today, the veterinarian was so nice, didn’t push for any expensive tests, gave me multiple options for his treatment plan.

They kinda contradict themselves sometimes but overall ok.

Very friendly office staff. Very informative.

Cheap and great customer service

Dr. Nystrom is the best!! My family has been taking our dogs here ever since we moved out to the suburbs over 10 years ago. There is sometimes a wait, but the service can't be beat. I can't necessarily speak for all the doctors, but Nystrom is the kindest, most personable vet I've ever encountered and my mom always schedules specifically to take our 16 year old dog in to see her. Also when my beagle had to be put to sleep due to lyme disease a few years ago, they showed the utmost kindness and compassion that I will forever appreciate. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. When I welcome a new pet soon, I know exactly where I'll be taking them. Thank you for taking such great care of our babies!!

Exotic vets are very knowledgeable and helpful. Never have to wait compared to other vets and all of the workers are very kind.

Great place for your pets. I took my kitten there and got great care for him. The veteranarian took the time to speak with me about my concerns and provided helpful tips on caring for my kitten. No surprise when providing care. Prices were discussed prior service.

Friendly, helpful staff. Even with their pandemic restrictions, I was treated well. The doctor took the time to thoroughly explain my dog's situation and answered all my questions.

Please beware of VCA Worth. They refused to see a child’s choking bunny, a current patient of this clinic, and the poor thing choked to death on the way to see the vet they recommended which was 45 mins away.

I'm a first time dog owner and wasn't sure what to expect. I have a 13 wk old (full of energy) Staffy pup. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They oooo'd and awwwed on how adorable my pup was (which obviously felt great ????). The Vet Assistant was very loving towards my pup and was very knowledgeable, friendly and even gave me tips. The Vet Doctor herself was very affectionate towards him, handled him well, and also gave me great tips on my concerns. The overall facility/hospital was very clean and well organized. I feel confident my baby will be well taken care of by a staff that comes across loving and caring to animals!! I highly recommend them, no doubt!
