Dr. Bowden was our vet for years, until our last & final dog passed. He takes time to explain his diagnosis so a pet owner understands & gives alternative options. What I liked most about him is when my dog became very ill & near death & had to be hospitalized, Bowden monitored my dog himself during the night. I’ll be forever grateful to him for healing my beloved Cairn Terrier when he was near death. My dog survived bc of Bowdens skill & years of experience. He is a no-nonsense professional with a wonderful & supportive staff.

The Oak Village Animal Hospital is one of the best. My cat Missy is 18 and Dr Bowen removed a tumor from her. He is such a great vet. So gentle and very knowledgeable. He really cares about his patients. Thanks so much Dr Bowen!

My 16 year old cat seemed to have an upper respiratory infection. I called Oak Village Animal Hospital & they were able to squeeze me in same day. The woman who answered had empathy in her voice and was helpful. Dr. Bowen was awesome with my cat, and talked me through everything. I hope that I don’t have to make many visits here, but I will definitely keep coming back.

Dr. Bowen and staff are the BEST! I have been with his service since August 2020 and have loved every encounter. He's very knowledgeable as well as his staff. I even referred my Mom who now is a client with my 2 fur sisters ????. Will be a client from here on out. Thank you Dr. Bowen and Staff!

Professional, informative, and hearts of gold. Dr.Bowen, Sally, and his Staff supported me through one the hardest situations in my life. My furbaby was diagnosed with Lymphoma by Dr. Bowen, and they support Sasha and my family till the end. It shows they love what they do and it shows because they have hearts of gold! Especially Sally and Dr. Bowen!

Dr. Bowen is knowledgeable, thorough, and caring about my pets. I have 2 dogs that are 15, and a rescue that is estimated older. I am very appreciative of the excellent care that they have received.

Dr. Bowen is amazing! I took my puppy Lulu to get spayed on Monday and I was really nervous as this is my first puppy and he made me feel so comfortable. He is super knowledgeable and the staff is super friendly. They truly do care and love animals here. The prices are reasonable and I liked how they kept her overnight for recovery and they called me when she woke up to give me a follow up on how she was doing. I'm so glad to have found this vet and I highly recommend anyone looking tospay spay/neuter their puppy to come here!

Best experience I've ever had at an Animal Hospital. The staff was very nice and cheerful and helpful the second I walked in with my dog. They offered him a treat. They didn't mind that he jumped up to hug them and give them puppy kisses. The Dr. Was a true animal whisperer. He literally whispered to my dog to sit and relax and my dog listened in a a second. Literally the 1st time I've ever seen that. I will definitely continue to bring my animal's to that office. It truly was the best most professional experience ever.

Dr Bowen is absolutely awesome, along with his staff. He has a real passion for helping animals! He is very knowledgeable and spends time explaining everything. I have a vet 1/2 a mile away from my house but I choose to travel 20 min to get to his office. I highly recommend Oak Village!

I took my dog Zoey to the groomer in the back. He gave her a great hair cut and she smelled so nice afterwards! Great Job!

Very nice staff. They explained everything as needed. My female cat got fixed and she only has a tiny incision on her stomach. Would use then again.

After 23 years with Dr Bowen, my dog was really sick we couldn't get her in because they were fully booked. I want to thank Dr Bowen,Catherine and staff i received a call they had a cancelation and I was able to bring my dog in to see him. I appreciate them calling me when there was a cancelation. Thank you for putting my mind at ease.

My dog was severely dehydrated and no one was taking appointments for two weeks, but Oak Village squeezed me in the same day and were so kind and now my dog is happy and drinking and eating again. Thank you so much! :)

Have been going to Dr. Bowen for many years. He is the best-always returns my calls and I know that my pets are getting the best care. Not only does he medically treat them but also uses many natural and holistic remedies as well. Wouldn't go any where else! The girls are great too-everyone goes the extra mile!

Brought my pit here after our normal vet wanted us to sedate our boy just for blood work - they were able to get blood, give vaccines and a full exam. We picked our boy up and he was happy and had all his tests and vaccines done with no problem! Thanks dr. Bowen and staff!

Love it here. We have three cats and a dog. Had to have our fourth cat lulu put to sleep. She was old and in pain. Dr. so kind, caring and so good. Staff are lovely. Highly recommend

Excellent care for ur animals

I have been going to Oak Village since 1980. I am so lucky to have found such a great vet so many years ago.Dr. Bowen and his staff are very caring people, you can see their love for animals, it’s not just a job. The staff came to my house and carried my large Golden that couldn’t get up anymore and put him in my car. I don’t know what I would have done without them. Big shout outs to Sally, Kat and the assistant at the groomers . I hope Dr. Bowen lives forever. Denise and Nick

They took such good care of my dog AND me! My elderly dog's health was deterring rapidly, to the point that she needed to be put down, the staff couldn't have been kinder! I really appreciated the straight forward conversation and explaining everything they could do within my budget to help my little dog. And the sympathy card the office sent me afterwards was such a sweet/comforting surprise! Thank you!

I will never be taking my dogs here ever again. My pit bull is a good and loving dog but gets nervous/anxious at the vet. Instead of being patient and loving with him this ignorant veterinarian slammed my dogs head against the table in the exam rooms. It was also more than once but once it came to my smaller dog he got better treatment. You will be getting reported to the board. I do not want this happening to another pet. And there was also a witness besides myself. My review better not be deleted.
