Companion animal hospital is so reliable, compassionate, and responsive. I love all the associates there and how much they care!

My dog Brady is skittish around doctors and as a result simple vaccinations can be complicated, up to requiring anesthesia. Since starting with Companion Wicker Park the doctors and techs have worked to build a relationship with him and ease some of his anxiety. During our most recent vaccine appointment he was in and out in under 10 minutes! I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate everyone working with my guy to make him feel comfortable during his appointments.

Dr Moser and Dr Courtney are wonderful as is the rest of the staff here. Everyone is so friendly and compassionate and I feel like my animals are getting the best care. Our dog Sage LOVES coming here because there are an endless supply of treats :).

I've been taking my dog here for about a year after moving to the Wicker Park area. It's a 5 minute walk from my apartment which is why I originally chose it but it turned out to be the best vet I've been to in years. The office staff and vet techs are always so great. My dog, Hamburger, can be a bit unpredictable around new people and sometimes doesn't take kindly to strangers but she absolutely loves everyone here and has never had any issues. She warmed up to everyone so quickly! They are always so kind and welcoming to her and it just melts my heart how excited they are to see her every time :) The vet, Megan Moser, is incredible. She is always very attentive and listens to all of my concerns and takes time to explain the thoughts behind her recommendations. The staff is always quick to respond as well. I often will send a message in the evening and always have a response first thing in the morning. And they are usually able to get Hamburger in within a matter of days, if needed. They are also open to trying to solve problems without a visit if necessary, which I definitely appreciate. For non urgent issues, I have sent photos or explained what was going on and they'll give recommendations over email which is super helpful as my partner and I have busy schedules and it can be difficult to figure out scheduling sometimes. Overall, I've just always had a great experience with this office. Could not recommend them enough! Thank you for all that you do in caring for Hamburger!

I live in Skokie. I drive 45 minutes to Wicker Park (with a very...vocal....cat) so that she can be seen by Dr. Moser. Dr. Moser is the most accessible, knowledgable, and empathetic vet I've ever been to and she has given all of my animals excellent care for years. It's clear she's simply and excellent human. The staff are kind, present, and responsive. These guys are the real deal. You're safe to trust your babies with them.

From my very first phone call with Companion Animal Hospital WP I was treated with kindness and respect... and MOST importantly not rushed off the phone (Thanks Logan!). But let's be honest, the real critic is Hugo the cat. Previously, because he'd lose his mind, he would have to be sedated at all his past vet visits. This was our first visit to Companion, I wanted to switch vet clinics in hopes of a better experience and boy did I get one! The fear free model helped Hugo tremendously. Dr. Courtney might as well take him home because Hugo LOVED her. I'm not sure what magic she used but I could have cried with relief. We've found our new safe place! As a first time puppy owner, Companion has been an absolute godsend. The whole team is incredibly responsive (even when I suspected my novice questions didn’t warrant urgency) and shower my dog with affection anytime we visit. It is wonderful to have a trusted and professional team who loves your pet as much as you do and I believe we couldn’t have survived the first year without them!

I became a client at Companion this month and I am so glad we found such a good vet close to home. They put my dog at ease and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

In a world where good customer service is an endangered species, this place keeps it alive and thriving. From the initial phone call to the consultation, to that first greeting, to the actual care, this facility has done nothing but impress me with their warmth, genuine nature and professionalism. They really care. Customer service, customer service, customer service! From answering the phones (not in a hurry and not generically) to their playfulness with my cat and asking me what her nicknames are and why.. these people are the salt of the Earth. They take their time. They listen. They are sensitive to you and your pets needs. They genuinely engage. They are gentle, compassionate, and full of good ideas and feedback. I am so lucky to have found such a great place so close to home to care for my feline family member. They get it here. They just get it and they do it right. They are the health companions to our companions. I am grateful for them.

My blind cat Nala has kidney issues, and she was very nervous for her vet visit. This was our first time there. Nala is tiny for her age, but very strong, the Vet and staff were very kind, compassionate and gentle with her. They make pets and their owners feel comfortable and safe, they answer all your questions, they are very attentive and knowledgeable. I am very happy with their service; everyone makes you feel like you are family, and they understand how important your pets are to you. They make sure to keep everything clean for our safety during the pandemic. I knew the moment I spoke to Logan on the phone that this was going to be a friendly and great place to take my cat, he made sure to listen to all my concerns and fit us in as soon as possible. I highly recommend you take your furbabies to Companion Animal Hospital in Wicker Park, you will love this place.

This is by far the best animal hospital I've ever been to. I came here for a second opinion cuz I was not happy at my other vet and I'm so glad I did. The staff here are so informative and so friendly you feel like you're surrounded by friends and family. I love it I will never go back to a my other vet. I'm going to switch my other dog here too. This is the best vet I’ve ever been to. Dr. Courtney is so knowledgeable and talks to you like you’re a person who cares about their pet. The staff is always quick to answer the phone and follow up. I had been to multiple vets who couldn’t figure out my dogs issue and they solved it in one visit. Can’t recommend this place enough

THEE BEST ! I do not live all that close to this Companion location, but it's the only one I'll ever go to. This is the cleanest, happiest facility I've ever visited, but it's the workers there that make a difference. They are the kindest, most professional bunch of guys and gals I've ever met at a vet. The way they interact with eachother and work in harmony really shows, because my animals dont seem to notice they're at a vet clinic. Whatever they're doing here in terms of professional training and choosing candidates is surely paying off! Look at all these happy customers ❤️

I took my newly adopted dog Ziggy to Companion Animal hospital and they took such good care of him. He was given antibiotics for his kennel cough, hoping he gets better soon!

This has been a reliable and compassionate vet for my cats. They have ben thorough in their explanations and options, and have been very supportive in determining how best to move forward with my cats' respective health issues. I moved to them as a second opinion when one of my cats began to decline in health, and their insight and concern made me move to them as the primary care for my animals.

I love this place. Dr. Moser and her team are compassionate professionals. While we haven’t had the pleasure to meet folks in person - pandemic puppy - all our interactions have been wonderful. We recently moved out of the neighborhood and I was saddened by the thought of changing vets for location convenience. Forget that, we’re staying with CAHWP. The deciding factor: my mom is visiting from out of town and her elderly dog is not doing well. She tried a nearby (to me now) vet clinic without success of appointment. I suggested CAHWP, and she was nearly in tears because of how kindly she was treated. We’re getting her dog in to see Dr. M this AM. Good to animals, good to humans = good in my book.

I've taken both of my adopted pitties there for checkups on separate occasions, once with curbside service and once with walk-in service. The staff is super friendly and I appreciated the Covid-19 precautions taken on both occasions. My pups and I were treated very well and all of my concerns were addressed with compassion and extensive knowledge. On top of that the prices were quite reasonable and I felt no pressure to purchase any services I wasn't interested in. I would definitely recommend. ????????????
