The associate in the store went above and beyond in assisting me.He was knowledgeable, and genuinely sincere about helping me find the right products for my dog.I had explained that my dog just had surgery, and he helped me find healthy foods that would entice her to eat. He was wonderful.

There’s so many cute items for my lovely doggie!! Especially for Christmas season!!

Rude employee, store is dark- bad lighting, Manager doesn't seem to care about the service.

Expensive. Looking for a harness for puppy that will be growing so won't use long. $40

I tried to adopt a kitten here, and they gave me very little info and told me to text a random number to set up an appointment to meet the kitten. So I texted Sarah, and she was super shady over text (didn't give any info or answer any questions), and she eventually ghosted me. They shouldn't have animals 'available' to adopt if they aren't willing to follow through with the process.

Was going to purchase a large bag of dog food and use a 20%of coupon that I received via email. We kept trying only to find out that the coupon was for online order to pick up. I attempted to order my item right there on my phone but it wasn't going through. I asked if she'd make an exception since I was already there. She said no. "So I have to go all the way back home, order on line and come all the way back when I'm right here?" The answer was yes. Come on now! I won't shop there again.

Petco does not carry the nulo brand food that my 16 yr old cat just got used to, b ut for other things I wil. Thanks

The store is well organized and laid out. Also, the employees working there are very helpful and offer to help frequently.

Got help with fish filters and cat stuff. Called other store for me to make sure what I needed was there.

I'm having a problem finding the food our cats like and this store had it. It was easy to buy online and pick up at the store.

After not seeing the product I was looking for I asked one of the staff who took me directly to the item and made sure I had what was needed. At the checkout the cashier was friendly and welcoming.

Good dog treat selection. Always fun seasonal toys.

Got 2 leopard geckos from their today and the staff where really helpful

When I walked in, the smell of animal urine hit me in the face. They obviously aren't taking care of their animals. I didn't get a look at the fish but I'm sure it wouldn't have been great. Very low selection, bathrooms are closed to the public. I gave it 2 stars because cashier was very nice and efficient.

Awesome staff and great clearance cat furniture. Someone needs to adopt that little black kitty, mal, 2 yrs old, looks like a British Bombay which have wonderful personalities and get along with cats and dogs! He's the only one left there to take home. :(

I had the misfortune of walking up on an argument between the manager & a young cashier. The manager turned around, saw me & said, "She'll help you at the register." I told the girl I needed assistance w/fish. I got the same ?'s per usual. How big is your tank? What do u have in there? So, the manager has to come back to assist me. I tell him I want a Cory catfish & 2 blue mystery snails. He tells me he can't sell them together bc the Cory will kill the snails. Now I've had Corys for decades, raised mystery snails from eggs & NEVER had that happen. He asks me if I knew anything about them. Rather than argue with this angry man, I told him just get me the 1 fish. He proceeds to use the plastic fish holder to catch the slowest, sickest looking fish at the bottom of the tank, claiming that the fish has sharp spikes that will tear the net. This is a typical visit there. It's aways smtg. Another time the same girl rang up a fish as some kind of medicine so I had to go back & get $$ back. That was a nightmare. So, I'm done w/that location. If u like drama, items out-of-stock constantly, & being denied aquatic life, go to Palatine Petco.

Wife and I went in to get all the things before getting our puppy Walter and was a little overwhelmed with all the options However, Kailee was extremely helpful in getting us all set, answering all of our questions, and walking us through the different programs Petco has to offer, including the new animal coupons, which saved us a ton of money! Definitely coming back there, even just for Kailee's help!

The associate (Kaylee) and manager (Wayne), were fantastic.

I come here to get my dog’s nails clipped. Breanna always does a fabulous job. She is patient, kind, and friendly. I come in last minute sometimes and she never turns us down for a quick clip & buff. She does well with my sassy, wiggly dog. Highly recommend!

Close to my home and has the brand of cat food that I need that most (grocery) stores do not. Friendly experiences with staff thus far.

I usually don’t write reviews but I just had to let you that my children I came in the other day and spent several minutes speaking with Kaylee who literally made not only my day but my children’s too. She taught us so much that my children couldn’t stop talking about everything they learned in the car on the way home. Then they went home and wanted to learn more. We cannot wait to come back and see her! Plus we are telling everyone we know to ask for Kaylee to help them take care of their new pets. She knows exactly what they need and she loves them just as much as your family will. I wish I could give more stars!

We just got crested gekos here a wonderful high spirt and friendly women helped us kaliee big help. Knows he stuff will definitely return.
