They took good care of my puppy while they did his surgery

My dog got a "full" checkup from a TSAH vet on July 29 and died 10 weeks later on Oct 16 due to kidney failure at only 10 years old, possibly due to a latent bacterial infection. He had lost 25%+ of his body weight... did they bother to call my previous vet for the last weight? Nope. When I noted "His ribcage feels weird and bony to me now" (i.e. weight loss) did they take action? "Probably just the way God made him." When they did the screening tests I asked for, did they do the "full" test or the pared-down test to save money? They did the "pared down" test that skipped bacterial screening without telling me. (I would have gladly paid.) When they detected a 3-out-6 heart murmur (likely due to kidney failure, we know now), did they call my old vet to ask if it was persistent or new? Nope. Did they indicate the heart murmur was life-threatening or possibly due to a systemic problem? Nope. Did they offer me the option of doing more intensive blood screening in response to detecting the murmur? Nope. Did they mention Lyme as a possibility or ask me if my dog had tick bites? Nope. Let me say this as clearly as possible: I have waited 1 month to process the series of events and still fully believe my dog would still be alive if I'd gone to another vet. Avoid TSAH.

I would recommend Towne Square Animal to anyone that has a pet they love. We were there for a very sad and difficult time for our pet and she was, along with me and my husband, treated with so much respect and kindness. This means a lot during these times along with happy times.

Super friendly and helpful! I've only been once when my vet passed away and my dogs had to be seen but had a wonderful experience.

It's a walk in clinic so you need to arrive early or you'll be waiting for an hour or so but the employees are very nice! The vet techs will help your animal and treat them with respect. The veterinarians will explain if you don't understand something or have a question. They will also inform you on what the best medicine or treatment is needed for your furry (or not so furry) companion if they are sick. I will always trust this clinic when something is wrong with my animals.

Town square had the best prices and care. They took great care of my dog, answered all my be questions and be started within the price they quoted me. My dog is having a great recovery and I'll continue to keep going back!

Everyone that works there, are so nice and polite. They take great care of my dog, and make her feel loved.

I honestly have never been with a more caring, and personable group of "fur baby" caregivers. Many times, I've felt as if I was the only person my Dr (Kunze), was dealing with, knowing how busy he truly was. The ladies on the front lines are the same, and have helped me more times than I could count. I depend on these people, and they have most certainly shown me their integrity, heartfelt concerns, professionalism, and just how sweet a group they are.

As always the doctors and staff go beyond for there patients. An there crazy moms. Who are stressed. I couldn't have asked for kinder people to care for my puppy.

Have only talked to them on the phone. Great staff. Friendly, caring, friendly. Helped me with a special food my Australian shepherd has to eat. They went way above and beyond. He needs an xray of his elbow he broke and had surgery on. I am taking my boy to them. I will post an update after I go there.

We have been taking our pets there since they opened in the 80's. Great staff, and really caring doctors. They even will meet you after hours if it's and emergency. We will never go any where else.

Very caring staff and vets

This is hands-down the best place in Owensboro to take your animals. From the basics (shots, check ups) to the serious (very sick, bleeding injuries), and from bunnies to frogs, rest assured that they are in the best possible hands, regardless of which vet administers their care. You can tell from the start that the entire staff really loves animals and it shows in everything they do! I rescue cats so needless to say I am in there a lot, and I have literally seen them work miracles to keep my kitties breathing. In the rare instances when that isnt possible, the death of a pet is treated with the utmost respect, gravity and care, and you can tell that it saddens everyone involved when it just isn't possible to save them. The Vets here stay on call 24 hours a day so even if your emergency happens at 4:30 a.m. they are willing to meet you at the office to take care of your animal's needs. I have had animals treated by Dr.Highland, Dr.Curtis, & Dr.Kunze and I have never had a single complaint about the work that any have done; all three are knowledgeable, dedicated and amazing at what they do. This location has also helped me to foster out animals in the instances where they need a level of care that is not financially possible for me, working with rescue groups all across the country to ensure that the animal's needs get met without resorting to euthanasia. If I could, I would give Town Square Animal Hospital and the wonderful people that work there 10 stars apiece!!

Dr. Alvey and the staff at Towne Square Animal Hospital treat you like family. They are gentle with your pet and they make sure you understand all treatment options available. Towne Square Animal Hospital is the only place I'll take my pets.

I have been taking my fur babies to Towne Square since 1994. Everyone there is very kind, knowledgeable, and treats you like family! They will go the extra mile to make sure you and your pets are well-taken care of. I recommend them to everyone I know.

My dog was just diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Alvey is awesome! He has always taken good care of Precious in getting her back to health. After just a couple weeks she is recovering and back to normal. I thank God for his helping me to have more time with this sweet girl. The staff are amazing and they always take great care of us.
