The vet was super unprofessional and rough with my animal.

Amazing care here!!! I spent all day calling local vets, none could see my dog for a week- including offices that he has been to before. The doctor here agreed to see my dog the next morning. She fixed him up & squeezed us in again two days later as well. He is healing up nicely & she also removed a stye from his eye that has stuck around the past few years. The staff was friendly too. Thank you so much! We will bring all our pets here for any future needs. You can tell everyone here really cares about animals ♥️

So we just got this stray cat we took her here I notice a 8 figure shape and what looked like a worm, the older lady just looked at me *with out looking at the cats eye and said it’s not a worm, it’s a cut. I’m no doctor but I’m sure a cut DOES NOT move around and or move to corner of the eyes. So thanks but no thanks we will be taking our animals somewhere else to a place that will actually listen to us and be as much concerned for that poor kitten as we are.

She told us we were going to have to put our dog to sleep! Then later she told us was only bladder stones ~ if we had said yes ~ omg

Treated Lenny good. Done his yearly. He felt comfortable enough to come out of his carrier.

Our two cats were in bad shape recently. We spent nearly a thousand dollars at a vet in Sandwich with no positive changes. OVS solved the problems immediately without all the expensive scans and overpriced + excessive medications. We are thrilled that we found a veterinarian that we can trust to properly diagnose and treat animals with respect to both our animals and ourselves! You will smell some cats in the lobby, as they are a shelter as well. I am thrilled to have found OVH just in time!

The people working here are above & beyond amazing. They do everything they can to make your personal situation better. They go out of their way to help in anyway they can and their prices are very reasonable, I highly recommend this place!!

Good prices for my kitty for his neuter and shots.

Took my 2 cats there, place stinks. They got checked and shots real quick which didn't like and we were expected to hold them for the lady when that's not right there were other workers that could of came in and helped. Never bringing them here again.

Only visited this one time. Visiting from out of state. Got us in and out with no problem. Our old man dog is thankful for a refill on his doggie motrin!

I was just outside after hours to pick up medication for a friends cat. Not sure of staff of vet hospital or quality of care to the animals.

I have visited Ottawa Veterinary Hospital on several different occasions. They have always been kind, courteous, helpful, and caring. The staff respects your dignity and feelings, as well as your animals dignity and feelings.

Decided to try this place even with everyone's complaining comments and to my surprise I loved it! My dog loved it! Her first time at the vet and we couldn't be happier. I dont remember our vets name but it was the male and he was extremely knowledgeable and gave me lots of great information. He took his time and answered all of my questions. It did slightly smell like cat but nothing overwhelming by any means and I love that the adoptable cats were able to roam free instead of being locked up in a cage like criminals. Also I don't think the prices were outrageous either. We ended up spending quite a bit but my doggo also has injuries from her previous owners. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone searching for a local vet.

Ottawa Veterinary Hospital helped me to adopt my little Desmond. They were wonderful throughout the whole process and I can tell they care deeply for the animals and people they work with.

Only vet that told me I could bring my cat in and do a payment thing BC my cat was in labor for 36 hrs and had to have help with her babies which were stillborn. They took care of her and made sure she felt loved. They saved my baby girl and I'm so grateful for them.

Very helpful. Completely understanding about payments. Took my pet even though she's not a patient of their vet and fixed her up just like new. Would highly recommend
