Everyone was very patient with my scared GSD. I never felt rushed by the staff. They have taken such great care of her.

Veterinarian was rude and had an attitude. As a dog owner I do not feel my dog was getting quality care.

I have been taking my dogs to River Heights for 27 years and they are by far the most professional and compassionate team I know.

All three of our pets have been patients at River Heights. And they have provided excellent care and compassionate service from beginning to end.

Very clean. Everyone is very nice and efficient. Always get good care here.

Overly Expensive! Had a Chiweenie in for shots and exam. Cost over $400.00!! I was shocked. I drove further to the best vet ever....Crest Hill Dog and Cat Clinic. Best service and best prices ever. Worth the drive!! You will love the care they give your best friend.

Let down in our hour of need! That's the way I would describe Riverheights. We had been loyal customers for nearly 20 years until last Tuesday. Our oldest dog Jaxson had reached his time here and after 14 years we made the painful decision to out him down. Or so we thought... When we contacted Riverheights they promptly told us that they didn't have time to take him for this proceedure today and that we would have to bring him in tomorrow at noon. Normally, I wouldn't concern myself with this but our dog was dying and we didn't want him to endure that kind of life one minute more than he had to. They showed no concern for the state our dog was in not even a simple condolence. We often joked about how they are only concerned with the amount of money each visit generates. Well, turn out that maybe euthanizing your pet signifies that the money well is drying up and they no longer have time for those animals. I just glad we helped them rodel their inside twice and get a fancy new sign outside the building. We have moved on to Courtryside Vets who were very cpassionaye and accommodating even though we had never been there previously.

Very compassionate in an emergency and willing to squeeze us in for the visit. They are cat whisperers...seriously never saw my cat so calm at the vet. THANK YOU!!

Our furbaby developed a sudden fever, shaking , vomiting. We were able to get in first thing in the morning after being sent away from VCA the night before because she wasn’t “critical “ . We were so scared & everyone at River Heights was AMAZING! Dr. P was so reassuring!!! She went through all the options & expenses. She even called to check on her the next day! We love being patients their!! Amazing place!!! Thanks ???????? ????????????????

I recently switched vets and I love River Heights. The previous vet had very long wait times (1- 1/2 hours even if you had an appointment). With River Heights, they get you in a your scheduled time and get you out fast and the staff is friendly. Dr. Anderson takes the extra time to explain what is going on with your animal and treatment options.

This facility was a big part of my life and my pets' lives until just recently. The man who was the passion and drive behind the name, sold the practice and moved onto his new passion. I continued to have my dogs cared for there, but had noticed a change in the atmosphere. I recently had a phone conversation with a veterinarian, who disregarded and disrespected me, the customer who was seeking assistance. The conversations heated up and I decided, she would no longer take care of my animals. I have been banned from this business. I was not aware that where was only one doctor there. My animals are not allowed to be boarded there.

Jan is a wonderful experienced groomer. All of our dogs are happy to see her and come home looking and smelling amazing!

Dr. Andersen is extremely patient and caring. She took care of all three of my furbabies (cats) Which one of them (Nallie 13 years old)is a little aggressive and mean. I definitely recommend them.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr. Anderson and the River Heights staff. They were unbelievably friendly and kept me well informed of my very ill cat. It was my first visit and my cat needed emergency surgery. I cannot imagine going anywhere else now. I was so nervous to just drop her off but I could tell she was in such good hands. They provided great education and made me feel such at ease. I will be forever grateful for their services and the price wasn’t bad either! I am looking forward to seeing them again for the follow up. I couldn’t ask for a better vet.

I have had to bring in my dog in for emergency vet care and they have been working with me to get help with my dog. They are very through in explaining what is wrong and what they think needs to be done. They also go over the price for everything. I truly appreciate and trust them. They have taken such great care of my dog.

They were there for us on one of the hardest days of our life. With everything that’s happening with COVID-19 they were able to see my Daschund while my vet was unavailable. While we had to make a tough decision the staff was so comforting and kind during this hard time. Thank you guys for being there for us and our pup during the last few moments of her life.

The staff here is phenomenal! A shout-out to Matt, who always treats my rambunctious dog with a genuinely caring, welcoming attitude! He has unending patience!!!

They saved my cat when I took her for her emergency and the staff has been extremely helpful. They picked up right away and took care of the issue immediately

I couldn’t have chose a better vet for my fur baby! They take extra special care of my kitten. He had a seizure a few months back and they helped every step of the way! The experience was mentally draining and they were so kind to me. Would recommend to anyone! Your fur children will definitely be in great hands here!

I brought my dog Lola into River Heights to see Dr. Pocius for a second opinion, regarding a possible bladder cancer diagnosis. I had taken her to my vet in Yorkville and was unsatisfied with her care. A friend referred me to Dr. Pocius, and I am so grateful we found her. Though my sweet dog is gone, and we are heartbroken, Dr. Pocius was open and honest with me about her cancer and the options we had. She genuinely cared about Lola, even though she only knew her a short time, and I am eternally grateful. I received a heartfelt card today from Dr. Pocius after we sent our sweet girl over the rainbow bridge, and it was a testament to the love and care they have for their patients. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Pocius, and the whole staff at River Heights.

Dr. JIRAGO WAS VERY PLEASANT, NOT IN A RUSH AT ALL, MADE ME FEEL SO RELAXED ABOUT LEAVING MY DOG THERE, I FELT AS GOOD AS A DOG IN A BUTCHER SHOP! VERY CLASSY LADIES HELPING WITH GETTING HIM CHECKED IN AND EVERYTHING WENT VERY SMOOTHLY, THE GIRL WITH THE BROWN HAIR WITH PONT TAIL I THINK HER NAME WAS LAURA OR LAURIE SHE WAS EXCELLENT IN EXPLAINING and MAKING US FEEL RIGHT AT HOME BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS SO CARING, CONSIDERATE, HELPFUL!

Dr. J is one of the kindest vets I have met. He is very passionate about his work and it shows when you are talking with him. I've taken my Doodle here twice and each time he makes what could be a very stressful situation, bearable. They take wonderful care .of you. The assistants, especially Arianna, are also wonderful and compassionate.

Melissa is phenomenal to work with and my dog really seems to take to her. I love this place.

How are them red doors still doing?

This morning my wife found a pitbull puppy wandering the streets of Aurora. She took the puppy home, to spend the day with our dogs and her mom until one of us could get off work. After work, I took the puppy to River Heights Animal Care in Oswego, where I was helped immediately. They scanned the chip and retrieved all of her information. Needless to say the technician was a huge help in finding the puppy’s owner. THE DOG IS SAFELY HOME ONCE AGAIN!!! We take our dogs here for annual check-ups. They are a friendly & professional establishment. Any thing your pet needs, they will always try to find a way to help!

The doctor was well versed in dental Care for pets and spent time answering questions after explaining what would occur. The other staff was extremely helpful and supportive.
