I hate to leave a negative review, but it’s important for pet owners to be aware. I took my cat here a few months ago for a check up, because I noticed one of his lymph nodes in the neck felt larger than the other. He is a young and otherwise healthy cat, but I wanted to have some testing done on this and the vet shrugged it off and said it’s “normal”. Any concerns I had weren’t taken seriously. Appointment felt rushed. I decided to believe her, which is my fault. Fast forward to a few months later and I noticed my cats lump was NOTICEABLY larger. We took him to a different vet and he does in fact have an enlarged lymph node and will need all this testing now while we try to figure out the cause. I left two stars because the pricing at this location is very affordable compared to other vets. I would just caution other pet parents to really push for having your concerns listened to. You know your pet best, insist on additional testing if you know something is wrong or go elsewhere.

Our cats got the most basic of wellness exams, the doctor just literally looked at them, ears, eyes etc and 10 seconds later its done. That's it. $25 dollars eachish. Doctor shrugged off any extra tests so we could make sure theyre all healthy going forward because they were young. I guess they dont believe young cats can get sick or show any possible hereditary diseases. Few days later our cats started scratching their ears a lot so its possible they had caught fleas over there too and we had to treat them with a home remedy. Just an awful experience.

Extremely relaxed yet professional atmosphere. Felt 100% comfy leaving our pet in their care.

Excellent health care provider for pets

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Attig for over 30 yrs.. When I moved to Aurora,lL, I tried a closer vet and it wasn’t the same. I decided to take the 50min drive back to Dr.Attig every time we needed vet service cause she’s worth the drive. Very personable and great with my fur-babies. I’ve now moved back to the area near her clinic....DON’T EVER RETIRE Dr.Attig!

We’ve been going to Dr. Attig for over 20 years. Dr. Attig and her team have helped us take wonderful care of Barney, Trixie, Ace, Marco, and Joey. We’ve had other vets when living out of state but none compared. They are fair, caring, and help you to make the best decision about your pets care.

Very reasonably priced and staff is kind and helpful.

My dog died 4 days after this doctor did not realize that my dog was fatally sick. She had been seeing him his old life, all of 8 months. I wrote a review of my experience with his hospital, but they took it down. They get all bad reviews deleted. Don't take your animals here.

We love Dr. Attig. She truly cares about her patients. She is very experienced and has a listening ear. We trust her and she respects us as our dog's parents. Appointments are right on schedule with no waiting around with nervous pets. We highly recommend Orland Park Small Animal Clinic.

We recently moved to Plainfield. Started going to another veterinary clinic & returned to Small Animal Clinic. We have taken our dogs to Dr. Attig for over 25 years & both the Dr. and her staff have always been friendly and compassionate. Highly recommend Orland Park Small Animal Clinic.

Dr. Attig has been my vet for 28 years since 1991 ... and will be my "fur-ever" vet! All of my Fur-Babies are always so very well taken care, and I trust Dr. Attig completely. In addition, everyone on staff (both the 2 legged and 4 legged helpers) are awesome as well! They are the BEST !!!

Great place to take your small animals.

Dr Attig has been our families vet for at least 15 years. Around 5 years ago, our Doberman was diagnosed with Addison disease. Dr saved her life on multiple occasions and continued to keep our girl alive so that we could spend many more years with her. Recently, our girl was diagnosed with heart failure. Dr Attig was able to help keep her around for a few more months. There is no one else we would’ve ever trusted Athena with and we are forever grateful for the extra years dr gave us with her. Her staff is incredibly supportive and always treated Athena like she was one of their own. Every single person in that office loves and cares for every animal that walks through that door. I never ever felt like it was about money, just love for animals. Thank you.
