I brought my Shorkie in for a bath and a haircut After leaving I wasn’t sure if I had really relayed how I wanted her hair done. So I picked up the phone and called. I told them I want to keep her hair long. and to confirm not to cut it like a yorkie. Well when I picked her up that’s exactly what they had done. So her beautiful long face hair is gone and what they did leave long is very unevenly cut. very disappointed

Let me preface this by saying I am not the type that complain/leave bad reviews, but I absolutely do not stand for any mistreatment of my dog. I took my lab mix today for a bath and he came back to me with hang nails and red inflamed spots across his back and joints. My dog flinched when I tried to touch the spots where his skin was inflamed from the excessive brushing. When I pointed this out to the person at the front, he rudely tried to blame it on the cage, then on me saying that it was already like that when he came in, neither of which is the case. He claimed it was just an incidental from a dog getting a bath, yet I have not had this experience anywhere else. He was extremely reluctant to accept blame and offered a free bath in the future, which is the only reason this is a 2 star review and not 1. However, given the shoddy work and attitude I was given, I will not be returning. He went out of his way to be defensive instead of apologetic for the mistake. If you have a short haired dog or dog with sensitive skin, there are better establishments in the area to take your pet.

Aptly named, the care and kindness to my poodle being groomed is above par! I'm so happy we found a wonderful, caring place! So professional, they did a great job with grooming, and customer service. I can't say enough great things about this place!

I wish I would of read all the other unhappy customer reviews before subjecting myself and my pets to this business. I have also come to see for myself that the negative reviews from other customers are also truthful . Dog Gone Purr-fection does NOT care about the dogs , they only care about their profit . The owners are often very rude . They run their grooming service like the dogs are on a assembly line . They cancel appts at the last minute with no concern for the dogs needs. They have many unhappy clients, including dogs getting skin infections from there. If how they treat the pet owners is a reflection of how they treat the animals after we drop them off then they should not be grooming any dog . Stay Away !!

Great experience, would highly recommend. Setting up an appointment was very easy. They are very responsive and professional. They did a great job with the grooming especially dealing with some matted fur. Great work!

This was my go to place to take my dog for her grooming for years, however the last time I took my dog there i had an awful incident and decided that was my last time coming here. I have a small dog (10 lbs.) It usually took two hours to two and a half hours, but this last time it took four and a half hours to get a call saying she is ready to be picked up. I called twice during her appointment to ask if something is wrong because we have never waited this long and the lady answered rudely and told me to stop calling. Poor customer service, they don't really seem to care.

I have use this place before. I adopted my dog a couple months ago and she needed her nails trimmed. First time there the lady at the front desk, she’s always there, very friendly. Today, second time, same lady took my dog in just this time she seemed to not be having a good day. My dog got nervous and jumped off the table, the lady abruptly grabbed her and hit her head on a table. Of course my dog got scared and peed a bit. The lady pushed my dog off the table again and immediately took her out, refused to trim her nails and told me to take her somewhere else. She didn’t even tried to give the service. It took her less than a minute to take us out abruptly after hurting my dog on her head. DO NOT GO THERE!

They always do a wonderful job grooming my dog, Roxy. Always flexible to get us in for a last minute appointment.

First time i came by very pleasant, second time though very rude and impatient with my dog. She struggled a bit to get carried into the table and got hit by the table on her head. Right away we were told to leave and find another place. Not coming back obviously.

I have been taking my dog Guido Yorkie/Aussie terrier mix here for 3 years and they do a wonderful job! Price is fair and they are so professional and kind.

They did a awesome job!!! I didn't even recognize her when they brought her out to me!!! She looked beautiful and 10 years younger!!!

I have used this place in the past for my Beagle and always was happy with Ryan. I will never come back again. I told the woman who greeted us to trim my Golden Retriever , do his nails, use sensitive shampoo and clean his ears. She responded by telling me he has an infection. When I got home his ears were never done and his undercoat and his back legs are all chopped. I even found some matting under his chest and he is damp. What a waste of $60.00 and a $9.00 tip on top of that. Clearly they rushed through his grooming. I called her back to tell her what was done and her response was “I told you he had an infection”. Ok am I supposed to know that you don’t clean the ears when there is an infection?? She said you can to bring him back. Don’t pay for the grooming until you see your dog and thoroughly check them. I suggest they need to retrain her. Will not be coming back here again.

The staff is always accommodating, Even on short notice I've always been able to get my puppies Lilo & Stitch in for a bath and cute haircuts.
