Our Havanese male, Tango has been frequently boarded at Forest Ridge for more than 6 years. Whenever we go out of town Tango is boarded at Forest Ridge because we know he will be well cared for by their professional staff. All of Tango’s needs are met including fun forest walks and playtimes and interacting with other dogs and staff. The staff gives him his scheduled medications as well as healthy treats and lots of belly rubs. It is important for dogs to receive excellent care when they are away from home. It is equally important for dog owners to know that their dog is receiving the best possible care during the time they are out of town. We are very grateful to the owners and staff who provide 5 Star care to our dog.

We've used several kennels in the area but Forest Ridge is hands down the best. I truly think they love what they do and do care for each animal individually as if they would want their animals treated.

I LOVE THE LOCATION AND THE SCENARY OF THIS PLACE. BARNEY THE GRAY AND WHITE CAT IS CASUALLY CHILLING HANGING OUT AT THE FRONT DESK WHILE EVERYONE IS DOING THERE WORK???? IT'S A REALLY COOL FAMILY HOME BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. I LOVE THE STAFF U CAN TELL THERE REALLY ATTENTIVE TO ALL THE ANIMALS NEEDS. THEY EVEN SAVED MY CAT'S LIFE THEY TOOK HIM TO THE HOSPITAL CHRISTMAS EVE AND EVEN PICKED HIM UP. MY CAT WAS GOING THREW REMISSION AND THEY SPOTTED IT FAST! THERE STAFF IS REALLY SELFLESS AND LOOKED OUT FOR THE BEST NEEDS OF MY FURRY BABY AND THE ANIMALS HERE. I'M LUCKY I FOUND THIS PLACE. THANK U!!!????

I brought my dog to be groomed first time client everyone was very friendly and proffesional but the groom could have been a lot better his ears werent cleaned and he still had coffee that he spilled on himself from the day b4 on his head and face. I just think when u pay that much for a service it should be done well.mYne the groomer was having an off day idk but she could have done a better job I do know that.

Haley and the staff know my 3 dogs very well and take very good care of them. They can tell me about their stay. I love the option of adding play times. My favorite part of their facility is the indoor/outdoor kennel. I think it's amazing that my dogs can go outside and get fresh air throughout their stay.

We never worry about our golden retreiver when we leave him at Forest Ridge. They take good care of him and enjoy having him in their kennel. He is always happy when we drop him off. The staff genuinely care about the animals they care for.

I picked up my dog and he was completely calm and had enjoyed his time… with OTHER kennels in the past He experienced visible signs of stress and anxiety… When I picked him up from Forest Ridge after 6 days he was completely at peace. Thank You

My husband and I received a German Shepherd puppy for our wedding and named her Kane. Her first Christmas with us (2013), we took her to Forest Ridge Kennels as we were traveling for Christmas. As a new dog mom and the time, I was nervous, but FRK calmed all my fears! The next year, we came back with two more rescues: a Malamute-German mix and a Husky-German mix. Right when we walked in the door, the staff remember Kane - from only having been there once! They greeted all three dogs with love and playfulness. The two males (the German mixes) didn't always get along since the husky was new to our pack, and Forest Ridge worked with us on separating them into kennels next door to each other, and switching Kane back and forth for play time. This year, we will be traveling again and I am happy to say I will be boarding with them! For all dog-parents, if your pup's tail is wagging and they WANT to go back to FRK, let them! I'm so happy I found a place I can finally trust. From the pack: Kane, Alex, and Templeton.

Been taking our dog here since 2009. She's a bit of a challenge and they've always adjusted her activities to her temperament. They've also done a good job of accommodating to special requests.

Nothing to like about it! I was over charged basing off their website and my dogs contracted kennel cough! We brought a bag of toys and only received about half of them back. When we picked up the dogs they had opposite collars on (one is 70lbs the other 40lbs with distinctly different size necks) The one owner came off rude and incompetent and didn't have anyone's better interest. He couldn't even hand us the correct receipt (someone else's for a different amount). I WILL NOT RETURN! Nor should you!

ALways friendly and efficient. My dog loves going there. She doesn't even look back to say good bye and hates leaving. Love the play time and they are excellent groomers.

We've taken our dog to Forest Ridge for eight years now and we are very happy with the service, environment and the personalized attention. The facilities are very clean, they know our dog by name and I always feel like he is well cared for and loved while we are gone. I recommend Forest Ridge to all of our family and friends!

We've tried quite a few kennels in the Madison area and have settled on Forest Ridge. The staff know our dog by name. The heated floor and nature walk option are great.

BEWARE! My British Labrador, Teagan, (55lbs) was mauled at Forest Ridge Kennel!! I left Teagan with Forest Ridge for 10 days while I was on a trip. Forest Ridge Kennel owner said that "accidents happen and it can't be prevented". The owner admitted that another dog initiated the attack. Clearly, Forest Ridge doesn't have competent staff and/or adequate procedures in place to keep the dogs safe. Teagan has a large gash on the side of her torso and a mark on her face. Both marks seem to be permanent because her hair is not growing back in those areas. She bled after the attack according to Forest Ridge. Now Teagan's nice smooth coat is not so nice anymore. This was not the first bad experience at Forest Ridge. During Teagan's previous stay at Forest Ridge the staff scared her to the point of urinating on her bedding. What kind of professional dog handler scares a dog to the point of urinating in their own bedding. I should have taken this as a warning but I didn't. Please be careful with your kennel choice.
