Golf-Mil Veterinary Hospital Niles, Illinois

I’ve been taking my cats here for years and only continue to do so because Dr. Mey takes amazing care of my pets when she’s here on occasion. The staff is extremely rude and hard to work with now. I’ve had many terrible experiences this past year. This place is not what it used to be. Their communication as absolutely terrible - with each other and with their patient’s owners. They can’t seem follow simple instructions. Specifically Olivia and Nicole seem to get upset about having to do their job, which a big part of it is communicating well. If things were done right the first, second maybe even fifth time, I wouldn’t have to call endlessly to get my pets what they need. Although the receptionists are rude and talk to me in a disgusting manner, the most important things is the care this place offers my pets. I completely feel safe and comfortable when they’re under the care of Dr. Mey and/or Dr. Bailey. I know their needs are communicated properly to the staff and there will be a follow up plan. I can’t say the same about a couple of the other vets. I don’t feel entirely safe when they can’t write a correct prescription, can’t communicate properly, don’t have a sense of urgency and they’re comfortable being unprofessional. If you plan on bringing your pet here, I highly suggest you request Dr. Mey. She has helped my pets at their absolute lowest and does an amazing job communicating what they need while making me feel comfortable. She ensures her staff is well aware of the treatment plan and has them follow up with the owner.

Got me in when my vet of 35 years could not. Saw Dr. Baley and she was Great. I will be coming back.

Wow! What a team of people here at this vet! My 10 year old German shepherd has a cyst rupture on Monday morning. I called my vet and they said they could not get me in until the next day and recommended if I wanted immediate care to go to the emergency (who fleece people and their pets who are in need). I called around to try to get him in ASAP to avoid any infection. The people here at golf mill veterinary hospital got me in within hours and took care of my old pup! Thank you everyone at this office! Also very affordable!

I’ve been taking my “fur babies” to Golf Mil Vet for 40 years! The entire staff is wonderful and care about both you and your pet. Dr. Haag and his staff respond in a professional, compassionate and timely fashion to all my concerns. Whether I call for routine care, ongoing concerns, or emergency care they have been there for us. From receptionist to vet techs to veterinarians...they are the absolute BEST!

We have been using golf mil vet for over 8 years. They have great employees. They always get back to you in a timely manner and really care about the animals. I trust them with all 4 of our animals and plan on using them for our next animals as well. The parking gets a little hard to pull in and out of though.

I've been taking my cat here since I got her almost 7 years ago. They have always been friendly and professional. The last few times I've brought her were during the time of Covid-19 and they have been very good about keeping contact to a minimum.

Golf-Mil Vet is great! It’s always a pleasurable experience as everyone is so warm and welcoming — from the person at the front desk to the techs to the vets. Everyone always greets my dog with open arms and treats him gently and compassionately. They are very thorough and offer excellent care. And, they are always on time and very efficient. And, while my dog is nervous while there, I think deep down inside he knows he’s being treated well.

Dr. May is the greatest veterinarian I have ever known. She is doing an awesome job treating my (cat) Sparkey.

The Vets and staff really care about your pets. I’ve been taking my dogs here for years and they are always extremely well cared for.

Dr. Haag has been our vet for almost 20 years. I cannot say enough good things about him both as a vet and a person. He always knows what he is doing with absolute confidence and genuinely loves what he does and cares about animals. I couldn't imagine taking our loved ones to any other vet.

This was our first visit. The service here is wonderful. All the employees were very nice and informative. We have found our new vet for all of our pets !!!! Thank you to all. UPDATE....Had bad experience with them today. We have brought other pets here and liked service.. BUT NOT TODAY...Because we needed to bring a different cat that has not been seen before. They REFUSED SERVICE. Cat has bad infection in nail area. They won't help.

Very happy with Golf Mil Vet. We’ve been clients for over 15 years having both cats and a dog. The staff is always extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We’ve worked with probably all of the veterinarians as well and they are all wonderful. On this visit we saw Dr. Haag - who is always professional, patient, kind and thorough. I highly recommend this practice.

I was so frightened when I brought Dillinger in quickly, as I noticed he was limping so badly. Without an appointment, a vet saw him immediately, took xrays and gave Dillinger an anti-biotic. He explained what may have happened, that it was not a fracture-even showing me the xray. He would wait until the blood tests results were returned before going further. Thanks to everyone for being so kind to Dillinger-and to me, too. That's why I've ALWAYS come to GOlf-Mil, with all of the pets that have owned me over the years! Yes, that's Dillinger sleeping on MOM'S bed, after returning from his trip. What else are we MOM'S for?

Extremely kind and compassionate staff. We initially brought our foster cats here through their network, but fell in love with everyone there, so we moved our cats over! The treatment they have been getting is far superior to our previous vet! Thanks gang!

We followed Dr Baley from another practice to Golf-Mil. She is a very caring and professional vet that doesn't make a practice of focusing on revenue first and pets second as a lot of veterinary practices do. We trust her judgment and recommendations for our pet who we have had for over 12 years. We live in the city but make our trek to the burbs for quality veterinary care. The staff is courteous, responsive and offer personalized attention.

There's a reason why everyone loves this veterinarian Hospital. The staff is so friendly and caring, my pomeranian Biscuit loves them! The Doctor is thorough, attentive, and extremely competent. They also do a lot of check up calls, which makes me feel welcomed and cared for. I couldn't recommend them more.

Just moved to the area with two small dogs and one needed a cyst removed and some dental cleaning. They recommended the best way for a really good price and all turned out great. Good price on the medication one of our dogs takes too compared to the other cities we’ve lived in. Definitely a solid vet for us so far.
