The store itself is fine. Staff sometimes appear to be too busy to help but animal quality is decent as are prices and sales. Only qualm is how close together some of their displays are. There’s hardly any aisle space to walk between????????‍♀️

I missed Petco and am so glad I made the trip!! (I didn't realize how close this one is to me!! ????) Was able to get the two more fish I needed, one for each tank, and one more snail for the bigger one. (He made sure that it was alive since the PetSmart in Joliet sold me a dead one. I've never had snails, which I told the girl, and trusted her when she looked it over and said one is in there.) Petco always has more choices and options for all your pet needs. Also the HUGE difference I've noticed between the two brands (I've been to multiple stores of each both here and back home in Montana) is the care and cleanliness of the creatures and their habitats! ???? I definitely recommend giving Petco a visit!! ???????? (This time was New Lennox, but I also like the one in Kankakee.) *IRISH ☘️ ROSE ???? APPROVED* (photos to come later)

Was at the store for 25 min looking at aquatics , seen workers pass multiple times and never offered to help with anything. Walked out and took my business somewhere else.

I needed a review to give me the real deets on the Petco Vetco I heard about no exams low costs vaccines but didn't find a review so I took my furry baby Coco Chanel to the New Lenox location and I couldn't be more pleased with the service once we were done the entire experience. Now I want sugar coat there is a wait time even with an appointment lets face it thanks to Covid there is no in and out no where so plan accordingly. Give yourself a 3 hour window. I'll start with Check in we had Caitlyn by far the best knowledgeable, kind, pleasant and caring person. She not only answered all questions didn't judge me for not knowing some of the vaccine background and informed me some shots she got in the past aren't needed since she isn't around other dogs at all. She warned me about the flea & tick collars being recalled and alternate options. Thankfully the one we had no recalls but she did say they can cause seizures so definitely if you use one check into yours. If you want ins and out of pet vaccines she is your go to. Now one thing I am sad about the Vetco team travels and you may luck up with the same team or have someone else. They had good things to say about the next location we are going to in Romeoville so I will let you know fingers crossed its the same service. After check in we did have less than a 2 hour wait but it was adventurous and the dogs in line were hilarious there was a beautiful Siberian brown Husky trying to get to a Cocker Spaniel mix and was trying at all costs so that helped with the wait time watching them. We also watched as the staff and doctor catered to every breed and I really liked the attention she gave to everyone. The doctor was very patient and loving. You can tell the genuine love the entire staff has for pets. I bet they have a lot of their own. She even informed the husky owner never have him wait like that because their breed gets restless and can get agitated and next time bring him to the front to avoid this. When it was our turn she complimented how well Coco looked and knew she was well taken care of. Here I am nervous because she was overdue for shots couple months and she's like mom your fine. My baby was a champ and the position and snacks she allowed my son to give her definitely helped. Her technique is amazing for both small and big breeds. She gave me the rundown on side effects and told us what to do the next 24 hours increasing her water, checking her gums and warning us of the more frequent urination. I was so happy with the Vetco I didn't expect the service at the checkout by Maggie. She enrolled us in the Pals Rewards and went over the benefits but also blew me away with the Vital Care Petcare I was unaware of. With the Vital Care my vaccine costs got $25 off so she had me at it pays you back on Discounts???? The initial fee was about $130 still better than our vet fee since prices increased to almost $350. She gave me the benefits and walked me through the entire setup. If every Petco is like this I never have to go anywhere else for my pet needs. I will update for upcoming grooming, store visits and when my son gets a turtle.

I needed help with finding the right pet food for my border collie rescue and as associate was very helpful.

The store was really clean and I was able to find what food brand I needed quickly for my cat. And the cashier was really nice at check out and helped me sign up for the rewards system.

Everytime i come in and need help, I always have help and all my questions answered.

I will Never call this incompetent business again! So unorganized! Barely bathe the dogs anyway!
